Amazing
BBeth.BenWe had stayed here for two nights, I can't comment on the food/drink as we went out as most places were a short walk away. The location was very good with being a short walk to Glasgow Central train station and city centre.
Reception staff were friendly checking in, however the room we were given had not been cleaned... Went back to reception and they had apologised and changed our room with a slight upgrade.
This room was immaculate and all the amenities gave it that little bit extra luxurious touch; use of a cosy white robe, slippers, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I loved the sustainability efforts with their toiletries being plant based and vegan friendly! The bathroom had a rain shower with really good pressure and easily enough to control and a bathtub.
The only cons were there was a small towel rail in the bathroom which was a slight struggle to fit them on to dry.
The TV in the bedroom area did not work and we only found this out on our last night.
There was only one lift operating and the other one was out of service, so best to leave anywhere in plenty of time.

Great
GGuest UserCute boutique hotel in a prime spot near Buchanan St and with some rooms overlooking George Square. We stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 7th floor, which had a great view, but was a little unhandy when the only elevator went out of service 3 of the 5 days during our stay. The room was spacious in terms of hotel rooms in the city centre, and well equipped with everything we might need in the kitchenette, plenty of storage space, good quality linens and towels, upscale toiletries, and a roomy bathroom with a nicely tiled shower. The staff were all very helpful, and did a good job of communicating with us when my husband's golf bag we had shipped over from the US preceded our arrival by a few days; they kept it in reception until we got there. Parking is a good distance away, and there is no good place to load/unload, though if you follow the instructions from Reception, you can get a discounted daily rate at the parking garage they recommend. The shuttle bus from the airport, subway, and, train station are within a few blocks, so you definitely don't need a car to get places within (and to a great extent without) the city.
Honestly we loved this hotel, found it a good value for the price, and will definitely consider staying here again on a return visit to Glasgow.

GGuest UserThe room offers a view of a giant mural. Downstairs, there's an outdoor restaurant, but the soundproofing is good, so it's not noisy at all. It's very close to the subway station and supermarket, and only a 5-6 minute walk to the train station. The room comes with a microwave and a fridge, and there's plenty of hot water. The air circulation system is also adequate.
RRRosssWe stayed at Sandman for its proximity to Hydro for a concert. In that regard the location was good, an easy 20 minute walk. Glasgow is super hilly so be aware if you’re walking anywhere. The hotel was very good, excellent breakfast, superb nice staff. Clean rooms, fit my family of 4 well enough!

AAlister LeahThe service was next level, with us going to get a taxi at one point outside the hotel and a staff member coming out to put an umbrella over us. The inside was probably the cleanest hotel we have been in with booking the executive room the space in the room was very big, the mirrors are excellent along with the shower being rainfall and having the normal head as well. I’d 100% book a room with a complimentary mini bar since they don’t just re-fill the drinks the re-fill the snacks. You must try the food as well being one of the best breakfasts we’ve had, along with room service we ordered a burger that was to die for. One of our favourite memories will be in the outside smoking/bar lounge being in Glasgow listening to the rain while wrapped in blankets under heated lights smoking a cigar drinking fine wine created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. They also set your blind and bed and everything to exactly how you like it honestly this hotel is the real deal.

GGuest UserGreat team at the Village Glasgow, always friendly and helpful, decor is getting a bit worn now though and breakfast choice could be better, but overall a great experience with an excellent gym and pool and lovely staff who all work very hard
BBee HoonWe stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.

HHelen CJLovely room for a family of four. The front desk staff were very helpful, but unfortunately, none of them mentioned that the hotel offers a free gym and steam room/spa for guests. I only found out about this after checking out, which was a shame.
Our experience with breakfast wasn’t great. On the first day, we waited around 20 minutes for two fried eggs—one of which came overcooked and the other undercooked with a runny center. On the last day, they had already run out of croissants more than an hour before breakfast ended. Also, there were no signs indicating the availability of chocolate powder for hot chocolate, so I didn’t realise it was there until our final morning.
Additionally, the hotel advertises a free drink when signing up for membership. I scanned the QR code and signed up on the first day, but there were no instructions on how to claim the drink, so I never got to use it.

EErick LouisI love the stay here. Perfect location next to the Bus Station and day trip meeting point. City center is only cost 2 minutes and you can get what you want!
