"The room was a bit small, and the cleanliness was okay, but there were some marks on the sheets. They might have been clean marks, but it still bothered me a bit. I requested a room near the elevator, and it was literally right next to it, haha! The hotel is actually quite small, so everything is close by anyway. The service was excellent. My English isn't great, but the front desk lady and guy were both incredibly patient. The lady even used a translation app to tell me what she wanted to say. In the afternoon, I wanted to visit the museum, but my room wasn't ready yet. The lady proactively offered to store my luggage so I could go to the museum first and check in later. When I did check in, she also helped me with my luggage. Their attitude was very friendly throughout. The guy at the restaurant was also super friendly; he recommended the hot chocolate, which was indeed delicious and one of the few things I can praise about an English breakfast. He also noticed I was Chinese and proactively said ”Nihao” and ”Xie Xie,” which was very kind."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel . The room was spotless and you can tell the housekeeping team puts real effort into maintaining high standard . I also loved how spacious the room was , it made the stay more relaxing and comfortable. The only small downside the room didn’t include slippers , a bathrobe or toothpaste. These are small details , but the do make a difference and are usually appreciated after along day of travel . Overall , I had a very comfortable experience and would happily stay here again"

"We only stayed briefly, but YOTEL Glasgow left a great impression. The location is unbeatable—right next to Central Station, perfect for travellers. We were lucky to receive an upgraded room, which was nice and spacious. It was also remarkably quiet for such a central spot. While the room showed a few signs of wear in places, the overall comfort and convenience more than made up for it. Recommended for a short stopover."

"Lovely experience from start to finish, the oversized coffee mugs was a great touch, thank you for that ☺️ and I got to see possibly the most unique sight just round the corner, pictured, as for the lobby and the hotel, a mix of modern, art deco and comfy seating downstairs. Be warned the bed was HUGE!!! I could fit 3 full size pillows across, so no danger of falling out for me ☺️ I will be going back 👍"

"Basic hotel but in an ideal location short walk to Sauchihall Street, great restaurants close by. Antipasti if you like Italian. Sichuan house, brilliant Chinese restaurant. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Free WiFi also a free drink from the bar. We didn't have breakfast we went out to eat but there is breakfast for an extra £12 per day if you prefer."

"The service was very friendly. I arrived in the morning, and after self-checking in at the machine, I was allowed an early check-in, which was much appreciated as it's quite rare in the UK where you usually can't check in until the afternoon. When checking in at the machine, be mindful that your room number flashes by quickly, so you'll need to jot it down fast. There's a pen and a card sleeve next to the machine, which is helpful! If you really can't remember, you can ask the front desk or check your email. Emails are very commonly used in the UK, and this hotel also offers online check-out (they'll send an email on the check-out day), or you can simply check out at the front desk. As I hadn't booked breakfast, I went to inquire at the front desk. The staff warmly and politely explained that if you pay at the front desk the day before, breakfast is £14 per person per day. However, if you just walk into the restaurant and pay on the day itself, it's £28. So, a heads-up to everyone: remember to book breakfast in advance if you want to save money! The room came with two complimentary bottles of water, Walkers shortbread biscuits, an electric kettle, and tea sachets. Plus, there was daily housekeeping (which is quite rare in the UK), and they replenished the water and biscuits every day. As is standard practice in UK hotels, there are no complimentary toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers, so remember to bring your own. The location is very convenient. Please note that it's close to Central Station. For my trips to and from Glasgow, trains always stopped at Queen Street Station, so don't get them mixed up. However, the walk from the hotel takes you through the busiest part of the city center, which feels quite safe. The hotel is housed in a former customs office building, so it consists of old and new wings, which are interconnected. The old wing houses the front desk and a comfortable lounge/reading area (complete with charging and co-working spaces). The way to the rooms (located in the new wing) is a bit winding at first, but easy once you get familiar with it. Both the elevator entrance and the elevator itself require key card access, which adds to the security. It seems there are quite a few business/conference guests and tour groups staying here, so breakfast tends to get quite busy around 8 AM. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. While there are other hotels closer to the train station, their reviews weren't great, and this hotel truly lives up to its positive reputation."

"I had stayed here a couple years back when I had to have emergency surgery at Garnavel hospital and found it to be very comfortable and quiet. We needed to catch an early morning bus to Skye and the bus stops right by the hotel so it was perfect. The restaurant is also very good and there’s a nice little pond to walk around right by the hotel."

"As a solo traveler I got a bed in 8 mixed room, the price was affordable as i need a space just to sleep. The bathroom was clean, the room mates were respectful. The only problem was the common room( the hall ) it was closed most of the times, either for cleaning or for activity from 3rd party , which I accept that and I don’t mind it at all, but some people does. Overall I love it and I’ll do it again"

"Enjoyed my one night stay. Room was clean and well presented. Didn’t appreciate having guarantee £100 taken at check in. Don’t understand why Best Western feel the need to inflict this on their customers. There may be some justification if dealing with stag/hen parties or other large parties but for couples/solo travellers I just don’t see the reason for imposing this on customers. It would make me think twice before booking again."
