"I recently stayed at Rydges Canberra and, overall, found the experience to be quite average. The hotel didn’t quite live up to my expectations — while it wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t particularly memorable. The room itself was clean but pretty basic and somewhat dated, lacking the comfort or extra touches you'd hope for at this price point. One thing that stood out as a bit off-putting was the parking fee — $25 per night seemed steep, especially considering the overall value of the stay. On a more positive note, the breakfast was definitely the highlight. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and offered a good variety — a great way to start the day. In summary, Rydges Canberra was okay for a short stay, but it didn’t impress. I’d consider other options next time unless the breakfast alone is enough to bring me back."

"The hotel is very close to the Capitol and can be reached on foot. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer and a complete set of kitchenware, so you can cook your own food."

"The room is small but well equipped. The bed is comfy. The public area is nice.  The library provides with free cold and sparkling water. It is so easy to bottle up the water before I head out for the day.  They also have a microwave and coffee machine. They provide complimentary apples which are crunchy and sweet. The $6 muffin is also good.  The neighbourhood is mostly government offices. The e Parliament House is in walking distance. However, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the nearest supermarket. "I've been to Canberra twice. This is the best hotel I've stayed in. It's really nice. The staff are warm and considerate. The room is big, new and smells good. There were 4 people here this time and we had an extra bed in the living room. It's very convenient. It's only 5 minutes away from Parliament Hill in Canberra. It's in the center of the city. The location is very good. Parking is free on weekends. It's really good. Next to it is the Burbury Hotel, but this hotel has excellent value for money. It's really good. It's clean and comfortable. The location is great. Excellent, I will continue to stay there if I have the opportunity in the future, 5-star recommendation! Canberra feels great this time 😌"

"Location in a lovely garden setting was perfect and parking out front of the hotel was easy and convenient. Very quiet at night. Room (Superior King) was large, well set out and had lots of windows. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative was that a queen sized doona was on the king bed, which left it a bit on the small side. Bedding and pillows were all excellent of good quality. Staff were friendly,although when we asked for the doona to be replaced with a larger one, we were told upon returning to the hotel later that it had been done. It had not. The main downside of this well-kept and attractive hotel is that there is no food or bar facilities, although they provide links to nearby cafes and other eateries. About 10 to 15 minutes walk takes you to to the main restaurant area of Manuka."

"A hotel that exceeded expectations. I booked a one-bedroom suite with a large living room, a separate bedroom and a kitchen. There is a supermarket near the hotel, so it is very convenient to buy steak and cook it. If you are too lazy to cook, there are also Chinese restaurants nearby that are also delicious. The most important thing is that the hotel has free parking. You don't have to worry about roadside charges or parking is too expensive. You can park anywhere you want, which is very important in Australia."
