Best Ettlingen Hotels

"The size of the accessible room (533) is as always the Radisson Hotels are pleasantly generous and really great, the sleep comfort with regard to the mattress excellent, the friendliness of the reception staff especially, The windows close perfectly to the noise of traffic. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, the traces of the use of the ”foremie” were significantly visible, the room was generally slightly dust. A massive conception is the huge continuous noise level of the air conditioning machine room directly adjacent to the room, which is not hearable only in the night up to 4.30h. Since I'm permanently on the way in hotels, I'm less noisy, but the noise was not even connected with Oropax and bed cover. Pech!"

"The spa area was very nice and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally furnished and there were enough rooms. Unfortunately, the service force in the breakfast room appeared a bit upset and has their own ideas of who should sit where to keep their paths as short as possible. Humanly understandable, but in such a house at the service not very happy."

"If we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service. The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had. Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room. The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that. The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather."

"There is a parking lot for money, and the hotel is very good, but Ctrip's agents are rubbish. I booked for six days, and then stayed for two days and got a rash all over the body. First I went to see the doctor. The doctor suggested changing the room. When I went to the front desk, I saw that the front desk only charged for two nights. But Ctrip said the agent did not agree to the refund of the money later. It is still under negotiation. There is an option in Ctrip to pay at the store, and then the hotels here do not pay at first, and the settlement will be settled when you leave, so everyone will pay at the store after booking the hotel."

"A nice hotel near Bahnhof of Karlsruhe, the rooms are nice and clean, you have everything you need in your room, complimentary water waits in the room. You have a kettle to make coffee and tea. The bathroom was clean as well, the shower was spacious. The bed was clean including pillows and mattress. Pillow and blanket were thick and cozy to sleep on. Near the hotel you have parking free of charge after 8 p.m until 8 a.m from Monday to Friday. Free of charge the whole day on the weekends. You have inside the Bahnhof building bakeries, subway and McDonald. And a very nice vegan spot for porridge that is made fresh for you, the price is better than the bakery which was very overpriced. A tram station is very close ( when you come out of the hotel on your right as well as the bahnhof) , you can reach any further destination you need."

"The hotel has a good location, but other than that, I am not satisfied. The internet was down for two days. The shower water in the room was hot and cold, and the air conditioning was not very good. For some reason, there was a bad smell in the bathroom when I took a shower, and the smell was still there even after I opened the window for ventilation for a long time."
