Best Elstree Hotels

"Stayed at The Manor, Elstree for three nights B and B, booked through Trip.com and paid extra for a “deluxe “ room. We checked in and we’re given a room called Notting Hill on the second floor of the old building. Very “tired” room, especially the bathroom. The extractor fan was very noisy - sounded like a helicopter which we couldn’t turn off. The loo seat was loose and slipped to one side. The cold tap on the basin would not turn off. Floor tiles were cracked and loose. Bath enamel was chipped in several places. NOT DELUXE. The following morning we mentioned the faults to reception who offered us a different room. We were give “Chelsea “ on the same floor. A larger room in better condition but still not really deluxe. Still “tired”. Breakfast was nice with plenty to choose. All cooked nicely and lots of item’s laid out to select also. Very slow service however, we waited 50 minutes after ordering for the cooked items to appear. Unfortunately, on our last evening the wheel chair ramps had been left out on the steps at the hotel entrance. As I walked up, one ramp collapsed causing me to fall heavily and knocked my wife over too. We both suffered injuries which we reported. The steps should have been removed earlier once the wheel chair had left. Please take care if these ramps are there."

"This review was based on a visit that I should of stayed in last week. Received a call today to say boiler has broken down so no hot water but we will give you 10% off the bar bill. Don't really cut it so i booked another hotel. Room transfered to another week. But based on previous stays thats my feed back. Not really the hotels thought boiler packs up."

"Stayed in hotel for 2 nights, came back after the first shift and found room had not been cleaned. Wet towel still left on floor and the bed not made or drinks replenished. Normally this is done daily but this time, not done hence the poor review."

"Great Location, Terrible Service” I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip. While the room itself was nice and the location superb, the service was extremely disappointing. The staff, particularly two individuals from the reception team(both was indian guys), were rude and unhelpful. Despite the hotel’s policy clearly stating that room service was available, I was told repeatedly to “come down” instead of receiving the assistance I needed. My team had booked an executive room, expecting a premium level of service, but the attitude and unwillingness to help made for an unpleasant experience. For a business traveler expecting professionalism, this fell well short. Would not recommend if you value good customer service."
