"I enjoyed my stay very much. I will use this place again and again. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after walking the Camino from from Bray to Dublin. I booked it for myself for 30 minutes. Now we just need to teach some of the guests to clean up after themselves."

📍 43 Montpelier Hill, Dublin
★★★ 7.9 (27 reviews)

"The student staff were friendly, especially the French girl who was very warm and with whom I had a good chat. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay. The location is decent and close to Phoenix Park, which is great for a breath of fresh air. There's a fridge with drinks for sale at the reception and a vending machine for drinks and snacks in the common areas, which is very convenient. The only thing I missed was a kettle in the room. The common areas are well-maintained. The elevator broke down the day before I left, so I had to use the stairs, which was the only downside."

Ruby Molly Hotel Dublin by IHG

📍 26 33 East, Arran St E, North City, Dublin
★★★★ 9.2 (89 reviews)

"Had a great stay at this hotel. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the location was excellent. The staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming, and always ready to help. My only minor complaint is about the cleaning: the floor wasn't really clean; it felt like it hadn't been mopped. Another point to note is that the amenities provided are quite basic. There were towels and shower gel, but no toothbrush, slippers, cotton swabs, or other small touches that you sometimes find in some hotels. Aside from these details, everything else was perfect, and I recommend this hotel."

"The room was very clean, the facilities were new, and the breakfast was rich. It took about 30 minutes to get there by bus 702 from the airport. After the driver stopped, the hotel was across the road."

"Had a good night. Check in and check out were both quick and easy. Room was a bit hot and no access to netflix or prime TV but clean and friendly staff"

Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel Hotels in Dublin

Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel

"The location is good and hotel needs updating, the carpets and hallway look outdated, the rooms service was leaving only two large towels even though there was 3 occupants in the room, the staff were very helpful, the chef/kitchen is poor, long waits just to get chicken fingers and chips, the menu is over priced for what you get, (portion are small for the price) we got cauliflower soup and it was like water and the soup bowl was not even warm, we only eat there once and had appetizers on our last night, I would stay again if the price was right but I would not eat there unless there is a big change with the restaurant chef, the breakfast was traditional Irish, not much of a fresh fruit options unless it was all taken by 9am when I came down for breakfast."

Haddington House Hotels in Dublin

"Honestly we booked this hotel because the other hotel was full. However we realised this was a beautiful mistake. And our friend came to visit also agreed that this is a much better hotel. The property is old however recently rennovated and beautifully decorated and the facilities were new. The hotel is surpirsingly well staffed and service standaed is very high and helpful. Overall a great place to stay if u are on holiday to this well known seaside town! I will come back for sure if i come back to Dublin!"

"My husband and I had been planning this trip to Dublin for quite some time. And when we found this beautiful boutique hotel online, we were so excited. As soon as we arrived And checked in, there was a lot going on in the lobby area, so it was a little overwhelming. We saw a lady at the desk, but we weren’t sure that she actually worked there because she didn’t greet us. Didn’t even look our way. It seemed like she had a general disinterest or disdain for us being there. I asked, “Is this the front desk to the hotel?” To which she responded in a monotone voice, “Yes.” I was shocked that this was the first impression of the hotel that we were getting. What made it worse was that my husband was told that we needed to put a card on hold and he proceeded to tap his card thinking that it was like all the other places we had been to in Ireland. But it didn’t work. Several times he tapped it and it showed nothing. He asked the lady, “does your tap work? Do you have tap?” To which she replied a curt, “no.” Mind you, she was standing there the entire time and could see the entire situation. This interaction was such a bummer, and this made our short trip to Dublin feel a little sour.  To be honest, not all of the stuff was like that morning. We woke up to get a coffee downstairs, and the gentleman that works at the coffee bar was very warm. A young Spanish speaking man. He was absolutely amazing; patient and willing to answer any questions About the items on the menu And the different pastries available.  Overall, the hotel was a mixed bag. It had a very chic vibe but outside of that lovely gentleman, their customer service can definitely improve!"

Maldron Hotel Tallaght Hotels in Dublin

Maldron Hotel Tallaght

"I stayed at the Maldron Tallaght as part of a larger family group, all adults. We were there for two nights for a family wedding nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was inviting and the perfect place for us all to get together before attending the events surrounding the wedding. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but there was a great choice including cooked breakfasts, continental style, pastries and cereals. Plentiful tea and coffee and fresh fruit juices. If I had to go to that part of the world again I would definitely stay there again."

The Spencer Hotel Hotels in Dublin

The Spencer Hotel

"Although it's not in the city center, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, and restaurants and supermarkets are convenient. Every day I would stroll along the river to the city center, visiting art galleries, museums, Trinity University, St. Patrick's Cathedral... and so on."

"It's a budget hotel, which is fine. Upon arrival, we were given an accessible room, which we hadn't booked as we're not disabled. The room was bare, with a bed so low it was practically on the floor, and red cords hanging everywhere. In the shower (if you can even call it that), there was a white curtain hanging from the ceiling and a shower chair for disabled use. Plus, we were there for 4 days and didn't get fresh towels once. You get two tiny hand towels at the beginning of your stay, which you can't even hang anywhere because there are no hooks in the bathroom. There's also no wardrobe, table, coat rack, or anything similar. Absolutely dreadful."

"We found the floor of the room dirty, the sheets not exactly freshly laundered and the bathroom sink semi-blocked. After repeated requests, the room was cleaned on the third day and the towels were replaced, while the sink drain remained unchanged. Lazy and unprofessional staff, unclean common areas."

Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre ★★★
"The service was generally good, except for an issue we experienced with a staff member named Peter. Despite having a prepaid and pre-booked stay, we were threatened with cancellation because we requested to check in at 9:30 pm after receiving no response from the property. The automatic door was locked, there was no one at the check-in desk, and we had to ask another staff member to direct us to someone who could assist. Peter eventually came to help, stating he was doing so out of his busy schedule. I expressed that we would prefer to be checked in by the staff member assigned to that role, at which point he stated he would cancel our booking. When we asked on what grounds, he said he was the manager. It was an unusual and uncomfortable interaction, especially given that we were simply trying to check in to a stay we had already paid for."
