Excellent location, warm-hearted owners, clean, great breakfast, highly convenient eateries and grocery store within 100-300m walk. Easily accessible from airport by Bus #16 or 41 (loading bay at Zone 15, outside Terminal 1, direct, 14 bus stops). As the digital board and announcement in the bus is rather confusing, the best is to request the bus driver to inform you to get off at ”Shanvarna Road Est, stop 231”. Try to buy a Standard Leap Card from Terminal 1 Convenient Store for €10 (€5 deposit included), if not available, a Leap Card for single ride can be purchased at €2.60 or simply pay at bus with €2.60 coins. Upon checking in, walk 500m from B&B to Maxol Service Station Swords Road to purchase the Standard Leap Card, your single ride will then cost €2 only with free transfers within 90 minutes. Buses to downtown Dublin (14-17 stops) or other counties nearby are also available from the same bus stop across the road of the B&B. Returning from downtown will drop you off at the bus stop right in front of the B&B. The Comet (a local pub) and Centra Santry Village grocery store are within 100-200m walk from B&B, a pizza/burger take away and a Chinese Takeway are also available across the road. Owners are kind and friendly. Would recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Dublin especially solo traveler depending on public transport and prefers quiet places out of downtown.

When looking at this hotel while browsing where to stay in Dublin, I realised I had actually stayed here before. It does seem to give good value for Dublin. Though expensive as other hotels in Dublin also are, it does come with a decent breakfast and King size bed, which gave it the edge over the other hotels for us. The location is great in the city centre. Just far enough away from the noise but still walking distance to all the major locations. Staff were great and check in/out was hassle free. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The location was convenient for exploring Dublin, and I arrived early before check-in. The hotel was kind enough to let me leave my luggage first, which was very helpful. I only came back around 8pm to collect my key and luggage after spending the day exploring Dublin. The room was compact and small, but comfortable and cozy enough for sleeping. Everything was generally fine except that I was given a basement-level room. There are only two rooms on that level, and unfortunately I could hear dogs barking quite often from the roadside. The window also had a very limited view facing a small airwell, which I did not really like. My main concern is that the booking was made through Trip.com, but there was no indication that the room would be a basement room. It would be better if this was clearly stated during the booking so guests can make an informed choice. Overall, the stay was okay, but I would prefer a room on a higher floor next time.

I’ve never been one to write reviews however this hotel is a must if you’re visiting Dublin! Prime location as it’s on the main strip in the temple bar area, brilliant pubs, eateries and shops nearby. We were warmly greeted by a lovely man on the security desk who directed us downstairs to check in, room was ready before check in time so always ring or pop in even if you’re early to see if your room is ready. Reception staff were polite and very helpful offering maps of the local area, recommending a restaurant, offering to book taxis, etc. Our room was a twin, plenty of room for 2 adults with added comforts of a fan and mini fridge. The en-suite was clean and modern, the shower was amazing especially with the included toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser) which smell lovely. We did request a south facing room and it was not noisy at all. We had breakfast from the la carte menu, freshly cooked, tasted lovely with generous portions. On check out we stored our luggage as our flight was late evening, once again offering to book us a taxi for the airport, very helpful!

This hotel really has a good environment and a good location. I booked a hotel called the Bird's Nest Hotel before and the service was very poor and the room was small. But the room space in this hotel is really good, clean and hygienic, and the service staff is also polite. But the breakfast variety is very small, not It is highly recommended that you book breakfast. There is no hot English breakfast and other food, only bread and cold things.

The hotel is very clean. Besides its own restaurant, there's a bar right across the street, and also three convenience stores or mini-supermarkets nearby. While it's a bit far from the city center, you can get there by taking a 5-minute walk to the tram station. Getting to and from the airport by bus also only takes about 25 minutes, which is super convenient.

Location: Great location, with a supermarket and a shopping mall nearby. There's also a bar downstairs where you can grab a beer. However, it's close to the tram tracks, so the rooms facing outwards can be a bit noisy. Service: The male staff member that night was friendly and very helpful with any issues we had. Facilities: The hotel facilities are good and quite new. But I was assigned an accessible room, which I heard hadn't been used in a long time, so the toilet had a severe odor. There were no other rooms available that day, so I had to endure the smell all night. The staff sprayed some air freshener, which was a nice gesture (and I appreciate it!), but it didn't really solve the problem. If possible, remember to request *not* to be given an accessible room!

The place is expensive for the type of room with so many people. The rooms were very hot, even with a fan. The bathroom in the room should have been cleaned more often. It was very disappointing not to be able to eat outside food in the hostel; if you're traveling on a budget, the bed is cheap, but you'll have to eat discreetly or out on the street. I had an incident with a bar customer and the front desk staff were very kind in providing first aid. The locker service is great!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful giving good advice on places to eat and things to do in Dublin, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, there is a free coffee machine in the lobby which is very good, and the hotels in an excellent location.

One night stay at this hotel in Dublin. The location is great (2 mins from O’Connell street and 15 mins away from the quays more generally). The staff were efficient and helpful. Although the carpet looked like it hadn’t been hoovered at one spot beside the bed, everything else in the room was spotless. The bed was comfortable, we had tea making facilities and a water cooler directly outside our room, which was really helpful. The main drawback to staying here was sadly something totally beyond the building’s control - constant noise from seagulls outside! With our stay taking place over the summer, the sun didn’t set until after 10, and rose very early, and the seagulls seemed to be fighting every 10 minutes while the sun was out. This made it difficult to sleep, I was glad I had brought earplugs. I’ve stayed here before and it was not a problem so this took me by surprise. One further question is accessibility. Access to reception is via stairs (it’s a lovely Georgian building), and while they have a lift, there were a few stairs we had to go down on exiting the lift to get to our room. The corridors are fairly narrow too, so if you have mobility issues/aids contacting the hotel ahead of time before booking would probably be a good idea. Great price and location, and I will likely stay here again!
