Amazing
Wwt01cExcellent location, warm-hearted owners, clean, great breakfast, highly convenient eateries and grocery store within 100-300m walk. Easily accessible from airport by Bus #16 or 41 (loading bay at Zone 15, outside Terminal 1, direct, 14 bus stops). As the digital board and announcement in the bus is rather confusing, the best is to request the bus driver to inform you to get off at ”Shanvarna Road Est, stop 231”. Try to buy a Standard Leap Card from Terminal 1 Convenient Store for €10 (€5 deposit included), if not available, a Leap Card for single ride can be purchased at €2.60 or simply pay at bus with €2.60 coins. Upon checking in, walk 500m from B&B to Maxol Service Station Swords Road to purchase the Standard Leap Card, your single ride will then cost €2 only with free transfers within 90 minutes. Buses to downtown Dublin (14-17 stops) or other counties nearby are also available from the same bus stop across the road of the B&B. Returning from downtown will drop you off at the bus stop right in front of the B&B. The Comet (a local pub) and Centra Santry Village grocery store are within 100-200m walk from B&B, a pizza/burger take away and a Chinese Takeway are also available across the road. Owners are kind and friendly. Would recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Dublin especially solo traveler depending on public transport and prefers quiet places out of downtown.
KKesonApart from excellent location, the service rendered by the staffs was impeccable. I wld like to specially highlight a few names namely Emily and Anna from Front Desk, both were patient, friendly and cheerful and always going out of their way to help with any queries we have. Another person is Ms Marcello from F&B who is amicable and always chatting with us during our breakfast. Last but no least, Samson and his brother, both from Security team who are always ready to assist with older guests who had problems lifting their luggages up the flight of steps to the lift landing. Overall we stayed 8 nights and it has been an amazingly awesome experience that made us feel very welcomed. Kudos to the team for their warm hospitality and bringing the Holiday Inn Express brand to a higher level. Keep up your excellent work. Cheers!

Great
GGuest UserStayed with a friend in the standard twin room, and all I can say is that you'd better be close to the person you're sharing the room with, because it is a tiny room with barely a gap between the beds, so it's as if you're sleeping side by side. There was very little room for us to open our 2 small suitcases, so bear in mind when booking. We were able to check in early, which was a nice touch, and the staff was very nice regarding luggage storage as well. Don't forget to place the make-up room sign by 1 am (odd time I know), if not, they won't come tidy up!

FFitzrieSuch a gem of a place! Great location, very close and walkable to points of attraction yet not too close that you can still get a quiet night’s rest. It was also close to the car rental location making it a great place to start the trip.
Arrived Dublin airport early in the morning after a 16hour flight, we initially thought of just dropping the luggage and just roam around while waiting to check in.
Was so tired so we tried our luck and called ahead and asked if we could do an early check in, so we could at least freshen up. Lo and behold, they made it happen as the room was ready for us when we reached the hotel.
Truly thankful! The simple gesture allowed us to enjoy more of Dublin in the time we had.
Great service also at breakfast with a good spread and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again! 👍🏼

GGuest UserStaff were friendly, very helpful, and overall wonderful. Breakfast was very good. I was traveling some for the day, so the single bed bedroom was perfectly sufficient. Have a room for one for a slightly laser rate than a a larger room is an excellent option. Room had all the amenities I needed. View was excellent. Only knock is the constant bells from Christchurch cathedral literally a few hundred meters away. Bells can be charming, but I’m fairly sure they were ringing for 5 full minutes, then 5 minutes of silence, then 5 more minutes of ringing. It got a bit much. But luckily it was only during the day and I did not spent all that much time in the room.

TTkouTLocation: Great location, with a supermarket and a shopping mall nearby. There's also a bar downstairs where you can grab a beer. However, it's close to the tram tracks, so the rooms facing outwards can be a bit noisy.
Service: The male staff member that night was friendly and very helpful with any issues we had.
Facilities: The hotel facilities are good and quite new. But I was assigned an accessible room, which I heard hadn't been used in a long time, so the toilet had a severe odor. There were no other rooms available that day, so I had to endure the smell all night. The staff sprayed some air freshener, which was a nice gesture (and I appreciate it!), but it didn't really solve the problem. If possible, remember to request *not* to be given an accessible room!

GGuest UserVery good in city location with lots of different restaurants nearby . The hotel even checked us in an hour before checkin time, and offer a cheaper price to upgrade to B&B. The only defects is the bathroom extractor is not working and TV is a bit old fashioned and cannot watch YouTube etc.

GGuest UserThe Hendrick is a great spot to stay for only a night or two passing through Dublin but like many hotels in Dublin now, it's more or less a glorified hostel.
The room setup was a double bed and a bunk for three people yet it was so small we could hardly find room to unzip 2 small carry-on suitcases and organize our clothes. There's no space for a dresser or even small drawer, no fridge and there are no hooks whatsoever to hang anything. With three people in this room it felt VERY cramped, hardly any space to move in the short space of a ”hallway.”
For what you pay, it's disappointing that breakfast isn't included either. Again, Dublin hotels are out of control at the moment so it's not a horrible deal.
The STAFF is entirely lovely and helpful and it was very clean as well. Thank you!
But for a longer trip, find yourself a larger space.

GGuest UserThank you so, so much to the staff at Generator Dublin.
You have all been awesome and made my first two weeks in Dublin so special!
Moving to a new country can be daunting, but you gave me the best tips and made these hectic days very fun, too!
The only little ”issue” I've had with my stay was the lack of either a kitchen (would've been more than happy to pay for kitchen use!) or vegan options that could be enjoyed with my celiac's disease. That meant eating out and not being able to fully take part in hostel life.
I will be happy to come back one day, regardless!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is ideally located, very close to Dublin Heuston train station. With bus and tram stops nearby, it's incredibly convenient for exploring city center attractions. As an express hotel, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, though they are a bit compact and lack a kettle and a desk. Otherwise, everything was perfectly fine.
