While the rooms are a bit dated, the hotel's location at the start of the pedestrian street is quite convenient. It's truly difficult to find a hotel with such great value for money."

"Facilities: The room's amenities are quite new, and the TV supports screen mirroring. Cleanliness: Very clean. View/Setting: It's arguably the tallest building in the area, offering great views (though there isn't much of a city skyline to speak of). Breakfast: The breakfast was decent and predominantly Chinese style. It was nice to have *cheung fun* (rice noodle rolls). However, they weren't very proactive in refilling the dishes."

"We loved this hotel for its service and location - right in the centre next to several shopping malls, a supermarket, food streets - so convenient. Our room seemed on the smaller side though likely because we booked a room with two double beds. It came with an exceptional view outside too and the bathroom was beautiful. My only issue was that we were supposedly staying in a non smoking floor. However, on our first night, we had a strong smell of cigarettes entering our room. It was so bad that it felt as though someone was actually smoking in our room so we didn’t get to sleep much on our first night. With a newborn and toddler, this was certainly not ideal. The smell was still there in the morning but was less strong by the following evening. We tried to request a room change but were told that they weee unfortunately fully booked. Despite this, we would still choose to stay here again."

Executive Lounge Experience Though located on a lower floor, the Executive Lounge is a true gem. The selection of delicacies was exceptional, with a variety of gourmet bites and premium beverages. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the warm and attentive service—special thanks to Steven and Freya, who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made every visit to the lounge delightful. Overall Impression Without a doubt, the InterContinental Dongguan stands as the best hotel in the city. Its combination of modern luxury, prime location, and outstanding service—especially from staff like Steven and Freya—makes it a top recommendation for both business and leisure travelers. I would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"The swimming pool on the photos doesn't operate anymore so you have to use the gym swimming pool in a separate building and a separate business. Don't go if you want to swim, it is fine for business or whatever"

"I visited teh hotel as part of my visit to family. It is a clean and nice hotel, expensive although i came for long stay. I was at the hotel 11 days and am coming soon again. I did not see that a long stay is awarded a disount and is same as a short stay. This is not right i think. I was not privilaged my the hotel to any benefits since i was there 11 days.. even when there was a hotel mistake with laundry they appologized however i would expect some benefit (free coffee?) I had a gass of wine every night hwoever no discount for a long stay. The hotel staff is very very nice, try to help however they really dont know english. so many qustions i could not get answered in depth. I want to come again, for 17 nights.. can i know how to receive a discount?"

"This hotel stay was such a pleasant surprise! The moment I walked in, the front desk staff warmly greeted me, and check-in was efficient and thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was as comfortable as home – I could fall asleep the moment my head hit the pillow. The bathroom was also impeccably clean, and the toiletries were of good quality. The breakfast selection was abundant, with both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted great. I honestly couldn't find a single fault with this stay. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!"

"The bathroom is stunning but the room ran a bit old style.Overall is ok.When they noticed my kids wanted to play on the water slide.They turned it on immediately.The staffs are nice & offered me a late checkout until 2:30."
