Very good location in Davao City. My Hotel was just right. Near everything you need for exploring and travelling within Davao City and other areas of Mindanao. Breakfast included. You get your money's worth here.

We had a wonderful stay with my friends. The room was just the right size for a company of 3. Plus it’s near restaurants so we just booked us a taxi and ate out. There’s more options outside than in the hotel itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. My partner and I experienced excellent service, mainly when an incident arose that required us to visit the hospital. The staff were exceptionally cooperative in providing an incident report, which was incredibly helpful for our insurance reimbursement process.
While the hotel is somewhat older and the amenities could be upgraded, I still felt very comfortable during our stay.
I would recommend this place.

It very basic but affordable price
There's also a swimming pool you can use
Breakfast is very good also
We have booked to stay there twice now and will be booking again
The only downside is that they close the doors at 9pm so if you like the nightlife you'll be locked out just something to think about when booking

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for.
When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem.
Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

To start off, i never stayed there because i booked through trip.com, and when i arrived, there were no roooms available. After a long wait in the lobby, the owner came and drove us to another location that they owned and gave us a room there. The room was decent, but the ac was barely adequate, and it was a downgrade from what i had booked and paid for. They said we may have to move rooms again in the morning, so i opted to just book another hotel for the remainder of the trip.

We had a great stay and the staff were accommodating. We are very satisfied of the breakfast they served. But they need to improved the cleanliness of the room, there are lots of small cockroaches.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax after exploring the city. We loved the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of delicious options that catered to both kids and adults. The pool area was a favorite for the kids, while we appreciated the peaceful ambiance of the lounge. Conveniently located near popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, the hotel made it easy to explore Davao City. IIvan KraljThe hotel has a great location, if you are just catching a flight. The terminal is at a walking distance.
Room is spacious and comfortable, i only felt certain areas could have been a bit cleaner, as there were food crumbles scattered around desk.
Maybe it was cleaned in a rush, as they forgot to even put the towel in, but i got it after a request.
In the bathroom, there is hot water, but only hard soap and shampoo available, no body shower gel.
Prepare to have 500 pesos for the key deposit. But also, they were flexible when i said i am leaving the country, and would prefer not to have a cash leftover (dont do my mistake, you still need to pay the airport terminal fee in cash - 784 pesos!).
I decided to spend my last banknotes on food. Frankly, the shop in the hotel building is so overpriced, that I rather walked 5 minutes back toward town, and bought some snacks at 7/11, much more affordable.
You can buy instant noodles and make them with the hot water from the hotel corridor. There's a water heater in the room also (for instant coffee), but you would have to bring drinkable water. Well, there were even instant noodles offered in the room, but i didnt see utensils available (spoon, or fork, or anything of such).

DDuckyduckduckHop Inn is newly open. I’ve been here twice on August 2024 & Feb. 2025, so I could never go wrong . They have a water dispenser at the hallway that serve hot and cold. The location is not bad depends on your errand around the City but it can take primary public transportation to reach other destination. Mc Donald is right in front of the hotel, SM Lanang is one ride away, SSS & Malasakit Center is just beside the hotel. Sso
