The front desk and restaurant staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. The decor is simple but well-arranged with a thoughtful touch. The only thing that could be improved is that the carpets generally looked dirty, which impacted the overall feel. I hope they can address this."

"Had a great stay. It was just my child and me, and we opted for a panoramic room. While it was a bit pricier, it was definitely worth it for the river view in Dandong. Before we left, Xiao Gao even prepared some Dandong bananas for us, which was a lovely touch and showed excellent service. Personally, I think the location is unbeatable. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as I felt it was a little expensive, but everything else was perfect. The room even had binoculars, which was great for enjoying the view."

"The room was quite spacious, and despite facing the street, it became very quiet once the windows were closed. Directly across from the hotel is a large square where locals gather for various recreational activities morning and evening – it feels very authentic. Just a short walk across the road leads to the Yalu River, perfect for a pleasant stroll. It's also not far from the Broken Bridge. Dandong isn't a large city; taxi fares generally cover most of the downtown area. Dandong drivers are skilled and quite fast. However, if you follow traffic rules when crossing the road, drivers usually yield, but it's still wise to be cautious. It's a beautiful small city, definitely worth a visit. This Atour hotel seems to have a high occupancy rate. I tried to negotiate for a complimentary breakfast but was unsuccessful. Understandable, I guess."

"Service: Excellent! There was a male staff member who was very enthusiastic and pleasant to talk to. The front desk attitude upon check-in was neutral, just normal, but upon check-out, the front desk staff was incredibly nice and even came out to give us a small souvenir. Facilities: I went just before Chinese New Year, when it was at its coldest, but the air conditioning inside the room was very warm, not cold at all. I booked a side river view room, and the room was very spacious and roomy. The TV was also very clear, though many channels required a membership, but it was good for watching cartoons. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: The indoor environment was great. Parking was tight in front of the hotel, but there were still spots available. Also, the breakfast was excellent, with a rich variety of options, including a coffee machine and fresh salads. The kitchen could also prepare freshly cooked noodles and wontons, though the wontons were just okay. Overall, I was very satisfied. This price is definitely great value for money."
