It perfectly embodies a 'New Chinese Aesthetic' with meticulous attention to detail everywhere. The hotel's overall design is incredibly tasteful, blending New Chinese style with modern simplicity. The public areas are spacious and bright, with art pieces and greenery perfectly placed to create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The front desk staff's smiles and efficient, professional service instantly put me at ease. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, freshly renovated with no strange odors, and the details were spot on. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Although it was a bleak winter scene outside the window, the room was warm and spring-like, with soft lighting and a well-thought-out layout, making for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay. Then there's the tranquil beauty of the Yalu River in winter – I had a river view room, and the vista was excellent. Even though it was winter, with bare trees on both banks and a quiet, desolate landscape, it only highlighted the clear and deep beauty of the Yalu River. Under the winter sun, it shimmered with a cool, serene glow, creating a unique sense of calm and openness. But what truly touched and delighted me was the thoughtful 'souvenir' the hotel prepared. It wasn't the usual candy or simple stationery, but a bone china plate featuring illustrations of the Yalu River Broken Bridge and the scenery of North Korea across the river. It was full of local character and historical significance – a keepsake I could take home. This level of thoughtfulness goes beyond simple accommodation; it reflects the hotel's respect for guests' feelings and local culture, making it feel truly precious. Free high-speed Wi-Fi, a large-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a kettle are all provided. There's also a quiet reading area in the public space. From check-in to check-out, the entire hotel maintained exceptionally high cleaning standards. The room was spotless, the towels and sheets were soft and white with no strange odors. The bathroom and vanity were thoroughly disinfected, with even the smallest corners meticulously cleaned, making for a very reassuring stay. WWinston41This hotel offers an exceptional experience. All staff members greet you with a smile, whether in the hallways or the elevator, and the front desk personnel are especially welcoming. A special shout-out goes to Xiao Yin, the attendant on the 5th floor, who proactively asked about my needs and schedule. When I returned, my room was already cleaned and tidied. Parking at the Cultural Palace across from the hotel is very convenient. Upon departure, the hotel's front desk directly handles the parking fee, so guests just drive out. The hotel breakfast has a wide variety and good quality. It's a hotel that truly offers great value for money!

MM515234****Jackie was very attentive and responsible. The room arranged for us was perfect – non-smoking and facing the sun. It was excellent. The room had a desk, which was very convenient for the kids to read. I'm especially grateful for the help with printing the kids' test papers; the service was truly superb. The robot delivery for our late-night takeout was super convenient. There's a piano in the lobby, and I never expected my child could practice piano even while traveling. It exceeded my expectations and was totally worth it!

AAnton AshcroftA perfect hotel. The location of the hotel is really good, located very near to the broken bridge. You can even see North Korea from the hotel. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The boss is a really great person and she made me feel welcome. She is always smiling ! I really recommend staying here !

MMartinLovesAsiaThe location is great and the price was reasonable for a 5 star hotel. However, there were some things that seemed lacking of a 5 star hotel. The CONS - Rooms come with heavy smoke smell and ashtray even if asking for non smoking, and it was open smoking in the lobby and even elevators. I would have loved a bathtub instead of only a shower. The breakfast was very good for the price (48 rmb) but didn't include juices and their attempt at adding bacon was horrific as it was a fake street sausage type of bacon that's bright red and inedible. There was brand-name water bottles and then there was the hotel water bottles in the room and there was a menu charging 2 rmb to heat up water. I am not sure how they would know or if this is to charge for the people who steal the tea and coffee. But I would expect to boil water for free. Also the gym closed at 19:00 and it seemed a bit early. The PROS - The beds were comfortable. The staff did their best to accommodate and even allowed picking up luggage later. The coffee shop inside had great coffee if you dont mind the smoke. The breakfast was a great value for 48 rmb. The location was great and convenient. The hotel was able to check us in to the room early with availability. The hot spring SPA was amazing as well since there was no pool but you need to be careful not to let them give you extra services (which are sub par) and just enjoy the hot water and sauna for free when you buy something.

PpangkaAlright location but not as close to the river as the name suggests. There's no river view. Taxis had difficulty coming into the hotel lobby. The hotel is a bit old but maintained okay. The fader on the reading light didn't work. They gave us only two pillows for a Queen bed. On the plus side they have put in those great japanese style toilets with heated seats. Nice touch.

The boss said that the maple leaves in autumn are better-looking. You can consider coming again in October. The cabin has a complete range of indoor appliances. Water heaters, smart toilets, geothermal air conditioning, hand-made coffee and tea in the stove are very pleasant. Of course, outdoor camping inevitably has some emergencies, such as small bugs, bad nets, or broken electric curtains 😂 Normal heart ～ Since you choose camping, you can feel another life! The only uncomfortable thing is from breakfast. The breakfast is delivered by the eldest sister. It is very good. Each breakfast is heavy and full. But the two of us can't eat too much. We asked for a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns and some pickles. The eldest sister said that there are salted duck eggs. I said yes, the eldest sister asked a few and I said if I could come two. When the eldest sister was going to get it for me, a fat little brother next to her pulled his face and said no, he could give one. At that time, I was particularly defeated. Our accommodation, the electric curtains are broken, the net is broken, and there are small bugs. We all endured it because a salted duck egg depends on the face of people. Please standardize your breakfast, okay! If you can have one and a half salted duck eggs, please print them out and stick them in a clear position instead of asking us on the spot. Finally, say you can give one. If the boss wants to do service for a long time, he has to keep up. It is fun to spend money. It is not to see other people's faces!

HHenry KMOnly stayed here for one night but I had a great stay. Service was good - receptionist spoke basic English, room was excellent - extremely spacious and newly renovated, and the view was a million bucks - full Dandong skyline with the bridge and North Korea in the background (I got lucky but make sure you request a room with that view if that's what you want). Very convenient location too - next door to the train station. The hotel is dated but the room and location make up for it. Would definitely stay again.
