"I stayed at Paradise Dambulla for one full week, and honestly, I can say this property’s biggest strength is its people. I have travelled quite a bit, but the warmth, kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care shown by the staff here is something very special. It never felt artificial or forced. Every single day, the team made the experience comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. Special thanks to Nikesha, Waruna, and Feros from the Front Office Department, Tharusha from Housekeeping, and the amazing F&B team including Damith, Lahiru, Thanuja and Dhanushka. Each of them created such a positive impression during my stay. A very special mention must go to Ranga, the F&B Manager. He is truly an asset to the hotel. Had a lovely small talk. An all rounder, highly professional, always attentive, and at the same time a genuinely kind gentleman who seems to support every department whenever needed. You can clearly see the teamwork among the staff, and I believe that is one of the main success stories behind this hotel. The rooms were excellent, the atmosphere peaceful, and the location itself is beautiful and relaxing. During the entire week, I genuinely could not point out a single bad experience. Paradise Dambulla should be proud of its people because they are the real highlight of this property and the reason guests will return again and again. Most definitely visiting again soon. Highly recommended!"
Heritance Kandalama
"The scenery was lovely. Rooms were clean. However the whole hotel was quite dated and not worth the price paid. Service was average at best with them being generally being slow at meal times and long waits for food (had ala carte for dinner ) The breakfast buffet had a good spread but there were flies around the fruit station - very off putting"

"It's a little far from the city center, about 100 meters from the main road. I was using Google Maps to get there, but I took a wrong turn and had to ask a local for directions. Looking again, there's a hotel sign on a utility pole at the corner, so please refer to that. In terms of facilities, it's equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, and air conditioner, and the TV has good picture quality. Coffee, tea, and two bottles of water are also provided, making it well worth the price. (It's probably a new building, so there are few gaps, and hardly any flies or ants got in.) As for the food, breakfast is a mix of Sri Lankan and English style, with good taste and quantity. Combined with the facilities, it offers better value than other hotels in the same price range, so I recommend it. The owner's family was also very kind. ka"
Amaya Lake Dambulla
"It was such a wonderful hotel that I would like to stay there again. The grounds were spacious, with cottages surrounded by greenery, and there were monkeys and birds. It's along the lake, so the scenery is beautiful. The bathtub valve was broken so the hot water ran out quickly, the food took a long time to arrive, and there was not much variety in breakfast, but they prepared lunch boxes for us early in the morning when we asked, which was very helpful, and the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very kind. There was also a group of Japanese guests there."

"I have to say, this hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Sri Lanka. It's only been open for 3 years, so everything is new. The hotel is in the form of a tree house, which is very unique, but there is no need to worry about safety issues. There are CCTVs everywhere in the hotel, and the hotel will ensure your safety. The hotel is very private, with only ten rooms in total, so it doesn't feel crowded or noisy at all, which is very suitable for vacation. The swimming pool is also very clean and the night view is beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to any friend who is going to Sri Lanka. Although it is not the most expensive hotel in my trip, it is the best and most impressive hotel. It’s really a treasure hotel~ I hope its business will get better and better^btw The breakfast is a set menu, which is delicious and rich~"

The villa was like glamping on steroids with the largest bed I think I have slept in a hotel. The shower gave the feel of being in the outdoors and the breakfast / dinner were unbelievable. I’d highly recommend booking the elephant safari from the hotel. The safari host from the hotel made the 4 hrs a very enjoyable experience - not to mention packed lunch! "The moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with a refreshing juice and walked us to a viewpoint — the sight of Sigiriya Rock was absolutely mesmerizing. The room is incredibly cozy with beautiful, interesting wooden decor that gives such a warm local feel. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit and great coffee. A perfect stay for exploring the ancient rock fortress!"

"Located in Sigiriya, Western Province, Green Hut Nature Resort is more accurately described as a Sri Lankan guesthouse. Its location is somewhat remote, giving it a completely rural feel. The yard is large, with a swimming pool and various fruit trees such as mango and guava, as well as other flowers and plants, making the interior quite beautiful. The owners and staff were very friendly. The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were rather basic. There was a weak air conditioner, but the room and amenities were generally clean and hygienic. The bed was large and comfortable, but only bath towels were provided; there were no blankets, or rather, just a thin sheet (this was one of the most unusual things about Sri Lanka). Similarly, no toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, or slippers were provided. Breakfast was a customized, English-style meal, including omelets, bread, fruit, and milk tea. Due to its remote location, we ordered dinner from the guesthouse on our first night. The fried rice and fried noodles (Sri Lankan noodles seem to be mostly rice vermicelli) were quite delicious. The walls of the dining room were decorated with various printed texts, especially Chinese. Overall, the location of this guesthouse is a bit remote, and it's not very convenient to get around without a car. However, the service and environment are actually quite good, and it's very close to nature."

"Us the property need a large amount of maintenance Firstly the internet would not connect and after about 2 hours it seemed to work from there on in Secondly the air conditioner would not blow cold air and the remote seemed to be broken thank goodness there was a fan Thirdly the toilet would not fill and maintained advised the float was broken but if you pushed it it would work so most of the time the cistern top was off so we could make sure the toilet would flush The grounds were great and the pool good but the complex needs to have some maintenance done"

Every meal was delicious, with great variety of fresh, flavourful dishes catered to different tastes. What made the experience even more memorable was the friendliness of the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, professional and always ready to help with a smile. Their outstanding hospitality made our stay very enjoyable and is valued. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, scenic and memorable getaway."

"Don't book this hotel, they are scammers! When I arrived at the hotel, they told me that there were no rooms, and they resold me to another small hotel. From the reviews, I know that they are repeat offenders. I don't understand why the Ctrip platform didn't deal with it. They said there was a problem with the room, but it still showed that there were rooms online, and they didn't mention that there were no rooms when I called to inquire before arriving. It was a deliberate deception. If travel time was not precious, I really wanted to argue with them. The conditions of the small hotel they resold were much worse, and I couldn't even take a hot shower. Scammers!"

"This is not a resort, when I arrived young girl practically ignored me, then pointed to a book to fill out and just walked away without telling me room number, facilities or any info. Room very good size and great working aircon, in bathroom no hot water or couldn’t figure out how to use the thing, either way had to take a cold shower. Next day when leaving was told about the lookout to rock fortress at back of property, very nice views, something that you would think the girl would be selling on arrival as a plus to staying in venue!"

"The owner was incredibly kind. He took me on a safari, where I saw so many wild animals. He also helped with transportation to and from Sigiriya Rock. The location is very close to Sigiriya Rock, which made it convenient for me to get up early the next day to climb it. His daughter was also adorable; after we went to the lake, she specially came over to take me back to my dorm. It was a very heartwarming experience."

"We stayed here for 3 nights and what a lovely place to stay! The staff are very accommodating and will make sure you have everything you need to have the experience in Sigiriya! They offer trips and tours from the hotel which we didn’t know so booked separately but they came to the rescue when our second day tour was cancelled! The owner quickly got a service running to show us the ancient city of Polunuwara! The breakfast is lovely! We got a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast on our second day which was lovely and eggs, toast fruit etc the other days which was perfect for us! We did loose electricity one but this was due to the scared day and needing power elsewhere for celebrations! This was no problem as the owners made sure to have everything up and running for us by the time we returned from our first day trip! It is only a short walk to restaurants and the lake so is in the best spot! Would 100% recommend here to stay in sigiri!"
