Although it can be a little tricky to find, the hotel is beautifully located at the edge of the forest, where monkeys leap from tree to tree. The rooms are cozy and well-designed, with a spacious, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and an AC. The service was exceptional. Breakfast is freshly prepared just for you, and the food was fantastic. The hotel also offers its own tuktuk driver, making it easy to visit nearby attractions like Sigiriya Rock. All in all, the Eden Grand Hotel is a charming and peaceful retreat and the Service will try its best to make your stay memorable."

Especially considering the challenging journey up the mountain and the price, the final experience didn't quite meet my initial expectations."

We stayed in one of the bungalows, which were spacious, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was a treat to spot different animals around the property, which added a unique charm to the experience. On the downside, the bike rental is significantly overpriced, and it seems that very few guests use them because of this. Additionally, many amenities — even something as basic as extra water — are quite expensive, which takes away slightly from the otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful place in an unbeatable location, with great food and lovely surroundings, but some of the pricing policies could be more guest-friendly."
