EElena PecchiSana and his family offer a wonderful warm family stay in the middle of Sigiriya jungle. It is a unique accommodation surrounded by incredible nature, cuddled by the kindness and the balsamic feeling of all the elements around. Truly an unforgettable experience that I will hold in my heart for the years to come. You can count on Sana for help in your trips arrangements, a lovely breakfast and whatever need you might have during your stay. I recommend at least 2/3 nights, a minimum MUST to explore the area and enjoy the Sri Lanka pace. I feel blessed. Thank you!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing experience staying at Hibiscus Villa. The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to everything we needed. The villa itself was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and easy. What truly made the experience exceptional was the owner. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. From offering great local suggestions to organizing transport for us whenever required, his support made our trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend Hibiscus Villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted stay!

GGuest UserA quiet hotel with mango garden. The food is different, there is delicious and quite acute, more careful. Spa don't take, massage can't do at all. At night monkeys ran on the roof, by the way, thundered there something. The elephants didn't see. And so all super

AAleksei ZobovThe hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

SStar Light Star BrightWe chose Hotel Sigiriya due to its proximity to The Lion Rock entrance. Distance from hotel is roughly 8 mins. Please note, it’s advisable to not WALK! Remember to order a tuk-tuk in advance if you plan to climb Sigiriya and watch the sunrise. We left at 5am and paid a return ride of LKR1,500 for two person. Our tuk-tuk driver Chaminda +94 ********* took good care of us -two 50yrs old ladies who successfully climbed the summit. Typical of Ceylonese people the hotel staffs were warm and friendly. Shout out to Tharaka (Reception Manager) who always greeted us with a smile and Shehan Restaurant Manager for entertaining us during our 3 day stay. Our room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Good hot shower and acceptable water pleasure. Nice to return to a room that’s been nicely made after 2 hard days of stairs climbing - the Pidurangala (first day) and Sigiriya (second day). Our travel dates were May 31 - Jun 3. Good variety for breakfast buffer - Sri Lankan and Western. The same applies to dinner buffer too. Overall, nice hotel and yes will stay again.

XXIANDONGGarden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. The overall feeling is that this hotel is a relatively high-end hotel in the local area, which is good in all aspects, but remember to give a little more tip, otherwise you can just shake your face and show it to you

JJohnnyMeschCeylon Retreat Sigiriya was perfection from start to finish. The place is truly in the middle of nowhere — and that’s exactly the magic. Absolute quiet, no noise, no chaos, just nature and peace. The staff were genuinely kind, warm, and always ready to help, not the forced hotel-smile kind, but real hospitality. And one non-negotiable: get the massage. No exaggeration, it was the best massage of our lives — the kind that completely resets both body and mind. If you’re coming here, don’t skip it. Some places you visit, some places you feel — this one stays with you.

GGuest UserMango juice was served as soon as I entered the door. The Lion Rock is right opposite the door, with a great view. It is also very large, like a resort in the forest. The service is very good and enthusiastic. The overall facilities of this hotel are relatively old, and there is not a single charging port in the whole room. Later, I could only unplug my phone to charge it. The king-size bed room is made up of two single beds, which is very magical. The breakfast is good, recommended. There are also people performing in the bar/restaurant in the evening, and the atmosphere is very good

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a forest, composed of beautiful two-story buildings of 6-7, each with 4 rooms. The hotel has a large yard, large lawn and swimming pool are very beautiful. The room facilities are quite satisfactory and there is no special place. The service is very good, warm and thoughtful, and the welcome drink is delicious. Breakfast is not a buffet, the variety is relatively simple, there are toast, eggs, fruit platters, juice and milk. The room is not soundproofed. If the two adjacent rooms are strangers, they may affect each other. There are many monkeys on the tree in the yard. The monkeys will play on the roof and make a lot of noise. This is an advantage or a disadvantage. Everyone has different evaluations. In short, it is a good hotel, whether it is an excessive or a leisure holiday, it is a good choice.
