"Comfortable, safe, and well-located – a great stay in Croydon We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Croydon during a recent trip to London, and it turned out to be a really solid choice. The location is quite convenient, a 10-minute walk from Croydon station and the area itself felt lively, with lots of food options and shops around. We were two female travellers and felt quite safe exploring the neighbourhood. The hotel itself was well-maintained. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed for a short stay. The included breakfast was a nice bonus, there were several good options to choose from, and the staff in the dining area were particularly friendly and attentive, especially during the busy morning rush. Overall, it was a well-rounded experience: clean rooms, a decent breakfast, kind staff, and a location that made getting around pretty easy. Would definitely consider staying here again."

"I have stayed here previously and I stay here because of the convenient location and I have usually been able to get the rooms for a good price. I clean the rooms myself to be able to feel comfortable. I have included a picture of the filthy wipes from cleaning surfaces. This trip was horrendous due to noise and vibrations- the last time I complained about vibrations and the manager attended offering extra pillows to help this. This time there was what appeared to be people talking to me in the bathroom which made me feel like I was being watched and there was vibrations in the bed waking me up and preventing me from sleeping. I contacted the police and I want to warn solo female stayers about this and I am asking for people to come forwards if they have experienced similar."

"The hotel looked very nice and stated in the art. the food was amazing and was cooked perfectly but a little overpriced, but we did have free breakfast included within the booking as complimentary, breakfast was awesome & i would recommend the scrambled eggs were to die for and the waffle you can get was cooked so soft and fluffy, 100% try the waffle!, staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with mostly all and some even went above & beyond to serve, can't fault any of the staff as all were friendly & respectful 😊, in all would go again and would highly recommend your stay here."

"Always enjoy staying here. Check in and check out was easy. Room was clean, tea and coffee supplied. Would be fantastic if rooms had a fridge though. Breakfast was good, good selection of teas and vegan options available. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside would be that the channels on the cable don't really work. Some do but most don't, when travelling with children and none of the children's channels work, it can be a bit of a nuisance. Aside from that I always enjoy staying here. Good location, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance."

"The hotel room is moderately spaced, the hotel is halfway up the mountain, quiet and good environment. The hotel's bedding is very comfortable and especially sleep-friendly. The hotel is far from the bus station and the MRT station, and the excessive luggage should be particularly cautious."
