"Location was great! Short 10min drive to frementle. Many supermarkets and eateries in the vicinity too. Room was no frills but sufficient for us, just that the freezer wasn't cold enough. We also appreciate the simple breakfast prepared by the staff. Had a great stay all in all :)"

"I had a lovely stay at The Local Hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had plans to spend a night on Rottnest Island before checking in for two nights at the hotel, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage a day early. It was such a big favor and made our trip much more convenient. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room, which was a nice touch. The room itself was stylish and modern. We opted for a corner room, which had three large windows, filling the space with natural light. The lighting in the room was also well done, creating a pleasant ambiance. Although the toilet and bathroom were shared, and there was some noise from the bar's music, the overall experience was enjoyable. These minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay. Overall, I think The Local Hotel as a lovely place to stay. We had a nice experience."

"The hotel is in a good location, surrounding attractions, convenient commercial shopping, free parking, small room is enough, there is no air conditioning in the room, the room has a small window: open to absorb fresh air is very good, the public toilet and shower room are very convenient, the front desk is on the first floor bar,  You can also  By the way, drink 🍻 or drink coffee ☕️ Sleep at night ＂ Remember to lock the door! I was knocked on the door that night by the guest in the opposite room who was drunk, and pulled the door handle, scaring the baby !"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the sea. You can watch the sunset from your balcony. Popular restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away. Parking is available for an additional fee."

"One of my favourite stays in Perth. Room was clean, felt extremely homey and a great selection of teas were provided. Only downside was the music from the bar, though it did stop on the dot at 12am. The occasional passing vehicle could also be heard in the morning. Welcome drink from the bar downstairs was a nice touch!"

"Our room was quite big. It comes with a queen and single bed. There's a balcony but there's no view. The hotel location is very good You can walk to Fremantle Market in less than 5 mins. You can walk to Kailis Fishmarket Cafe or Cicerello's within 5 mins. It is also very convenient if you are going to Rottnest Island because you can walk to the boarding place near the E Shed Market without having to look for a parking there which is very limited. Well the negative side is parking at the hotel is not free. It is AUD30.00 for hotel guests with multiple entries from 12pm till 12pm the following day."

"Excellent location and with historical significance. Nice touch to provide complimentary minibar drinks and snacks. Unfortunately, there were inconveniences experienced. First, light bulb to entrance door was spoil. Next day, fridge was not working. Third day, wifi was not working."

"Loved this hotel. I was a little nervous about some of the review/descriptions describing it as shipping containers -- but once you are there, it just feels like any normal hotel. The rooms are compact, but totally sufficient. The design is great, beds are super comfortable, AC worked well, bathroom was really nice. And the service was fantastic. It's a boutique hotel and you really felt the personal touch. They warmly greeted us on arrival, were happy to store our bags, gave all kinds of great advice, etc. On the morning of our check-out, we had to get an early start and hit the road at 7am (to catch the 7:30 ferry to Rottnest Island). Breakfast starts at 7am, so when we asked the night before if we could get some kind of to-go box, the lady at the front desk said she would just arrive a little early in the morning and have everything ready at 6:45 so we could eat something before we left the hotel. Amazing! They also let us just leave our suitcases in our room and said they would bring them down and store them at the front desk. We really felt like they actually cared about us and were willing to do whatever to make our stay great. Highly recommend!"
