It's very close to the main road, though there's a short, cratered section on the way there, but it's a quick walk. It's located in a mountain stream. The room is halfway up the mountain, so the climb isn't too difficult. We arrived in the evening, and the owner was very helpful in arranging dinner and even boiled water for us to make Yao medicine. The owner also provided a lot of information about the local area, suggesting we take a short drive along the national highway and then onto the expressway the next day, enjoying the Duliu River scenery and visiting several villages along the way. It was clear the owner deeply loved his hometown. The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and the room was filled with a pleasant woody fragrance. Everything from the bed to the desk was made of solid wood. There were a few minor issues with the room, but thankfully the owner was very helpful in fixing them. The morning scenery was beautiful. If we weren't in a hurry to travel, it would have been a perfect place to relax for a few days."
