The boss, Sister Hu, said that the vegetables are all local and pure green, and they are delicious. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting, the layout is warm, and there are ornaments on the doors. It's not gorgeous or vulgar (it's also possible to see the beautiful scenery and feel good to see everything. Hehehe). The front desk and service staff: very friendly and considerate. The one who impressed me the most was Sister Hu. As a j person, I don't make plans and go wherever I go. I choose to come to Canada just to get extra pounds. I didn't think about where to go later. I talked to Sister Hu while eating. She helped me plan it and recommended me to go to Xiayao. The drive is just over 40 minutes. There is a Chinese wine on the tip of the tongue. It tastes very good. The property is right by the train station, which is what I was looking for to be able to catch an early morning train.
In terms of location it really depends what you are looking for, surely there's not much to do around and it felt like being in a very remote authentic village, so it's a nice experience but if you have a car it's definitely a plus.
The owner doesn't speak English but he's been very nice and accommodating.
The room is simple with squat toilet but it has everything and it's absolutely clean and comfortable.

MMomoOn a long trip, I chose Congjiang for a one-night stop. I thought it had high reviews and a unique character, so I chose it.
It's very close to the main road, though there's a short, cratered section on the way there, but it's a quick walk. It's located in a mountain stream.
The room is halfway up the mountain, so the climb isn't too difficult. We arrived in the evening, and the owner was very helpful in arranging dinner and even boiled water for us to make Yao medicine.
The owner also provided a lot of information about the local area, suggesting we take a short drive along the national highway and then onto the expressway the next day, enjoying the Duliu River scenery and visiting several villages along the way. It was clear the owner deeply loved his hometown.
The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and the room was filled with a pleasant woody fragrance. Everything from the bed to the desk was made of solid wood.
There were a few minor issues with the room, but thankfully the owner was very helpful in fixing them.
The morning scenery was beautiful. If we weren't in a hurry to travel, it would have been a perfect place to relax for a few days.
