"No choice of cooked breakfast , no room service on first day and had to ask for clean towels, no shower gel- shampoo as advertised, dangerous exit on to highway - needs mirrors, faulty light switch for bathroom which was replaced after 2 days"

"Lovely building, very good service and in a quiet but convenient location for Wem High St. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. I had a single room overlooking the beautiful grounds. The room and en-suite were a little tired and could do with a refresh but the bed was comfortable and the room spacious and full of Georgian character. The duvet weight was too heavy for summer so I slept under a throw with the window open as it was a very warm night. The staff were helpful and attentive. The Old Rectory is good value and I would stay there again."

"From the very start, Rebecca was an absolute star. Her proactive communication and all the useful information she shared made us feel confident we were in for a lovely stay and we truly were. She greeted us on a rainy day with a big smile that instantly made us feel at home.The house is beautifully set among rare farmlands, offering peace and scenic charm. Our room, which had a private balcony, gave us stunning countryside views. Having binoculars provided in the room was such a thoughtful touch we loved watching the birds while relaxing outside.The place itself is full of delightful details board games both in the room and the lobby, Sky and Netflix for cozy evenings, and a nice selection of snacks and small bites available.Breakfast was served with a view, and it was excellent fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My wife and I truly enjoyed every part of our stay, and we will definitely be coming back."

"The room had alot including a fridge, iron, iron board, cooling fan, hair dryer. The spa had an ice room steam rooms saunas heated pool and a few other spa treats I've forgot lol really good stay the breakfast is a buffet continental plus English breakfast."
