"The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the JR station, and popular attractions like the Hida Takayama Old Town are just a 10-minute walk away. Coming back to the hotel for a relaxing hot spring bath in the evening was wonderful. The hotel's breakfast was also quite good. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel is an absolute must-recommend, the top choice in Takayama: 1. There's a shuttle service from Takayama JR Station, with the schedule shown in the pictures. 2. The room is super spacious at 38 sqm, not small even compared to domestic standards; two large suitcases can be opened with no problem at all. 3. The hotel has a European-style decor. While there are some signs of wear and tear, it doesn't affect usability. 4. There are many hot spring baths, half of which are outdoors, with a modern design 👍. 5. Dinner and breakfast are abundant, and the dining environment is upscale and atmospheric 👍. 6. The service is standardized; I didn't experience any differential treatment or discrimination that I've encountered at some other hotels. 7. It's also very convenient for getting to other places, such as taking a bus to Shirakawa-go or connecting to other cities like Toyama and Kanazawa via JR."

"All the staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious and cleaned daily. They offer complimentary supper each night (ochazuke/tangyuan). Breakfast costs around 1650 JPY and is quite delicious – great for those on a tight schedule to fill up before heading out. The rooftop onsen provides free popsicles. In the hotel lobby, you can enjoy complimentary coffee and iced water. The hotel's dinner is worth trying; there are à la carte options (around 1500 JPY) and Hida beef (around 4000 JPY). I tried all three à la carte choices, and they were all excellent and highly recommended, offering great value for money. The hotel is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from JR Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Terminal. There's a McDonald's within a 10-minute walk and a FamilyMart just a 2-minute walk away, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry late at night. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel; I would definitely book it again if I return to Takayama."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is clean, well-kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent: very convenient for exploring Takayama, with easy access to the old town, restaurants, and the bus and train station. The rooms are comfortable and modern, but even in the larger ones there isn’t much storage space for clothes or bags. If you’re traveling light, it’s no problem, but with bigger luggage it can feel a bit tight. Overall, though, it’s a great base for Takayama: spotless, welcoming, and perfectly located. I’d definitely stay again."

"The 31-square-meter room was clean and bright, with a door separating the kitchen and bedroom. The bathroom and shower room were two separate spaces, which was very comfortable. It was fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, pots, plates, bowls, and chopsticks. We bought Hida beef from the supermarket and cooked it ourselves. Both large supermarkets are west of the hotel; just exit the hotel, turn left, then left again, cross the railway underpass, and walk straight for 8 minutes to reach them. From the hotel balcony, looking south, you can see the Takayama Nohi Bus Center. The staff were warm and welcoming, and spoke excellent English."

"We stayed at Tokyu Stay Hida Takayama Musubinoyu for 2 nights, and it was the best accommodation of our entire Japan trip. The hotel is cosy, lovely, and very well maintained, making our stay extremely comfortable. The location is excellent, with easy access to the train station, shops, and restaurants. The onsen was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the relaxing foot bath. Breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, with a great selection to start the day. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Takayama."

"The location of the hotel is so convenient as it is just infront of the Nohi Bus Centre and the Takayama Train Station. I has ramen every night as shops are near the hotel. I had a great room during my stay which had a great view as well. Family Mart is just downstairs of the hotel too! Room was cleaned everyday. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone!"

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were polite and friendly throughout our visit. The location is excellent, just a three-mins walk from the Takayama Nohi Bus Center. The hotel is visible from the bus stop so it wasn't even necessary to check the map. It is also conveniently close to main attractions (e.g. the morning market) and souvenir shops. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We appreciated the hotel accommodating our request for a room near the elevator. The only drawback was the slightly dim lighting. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices in a quiet setting. A notable amenity is the complimentary access to the mist sauna and jacuzzi, which we enjoyed very much. We would definitely choose this hotel again on a future visit to Takayama."

"The hotel lobby is grand, elegant, and luxurious. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, providing excellent explanations and recommendations for nearby shopping and scenic spots. They even helped us store our luggage so we could explore without worry. Our friends were delighted with the Japanese-style room – it was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with incredibly cozy bedding that had one friend falling asleep instantly. The onsen was especially satisfying, with both indoor and outdoor pools that were comfortable, spacious, and beautifully designed, melting away the fatigue of a day of sightseeing. I'm so glad I chose to stay two nights; it was incredible value for money. A special shout-out to the shuttle bus driver! When we arrived in Takayama, it suddenly started raining, and the driver immediately took us to the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends for future stays."
