The small puppet room has a slide for children to play all the time. It is very convenient to eat around. There is a Hai'an parking lot nearby but it takes a short walk. The only drawback is that the temperature of the bath water is unstable. It just happens to be cold and it is a bit hard to wash.

In the blink of an eye, today marked the end of my 5 month stay at Changyu. It’s a bittersweet feeling for me. I am finally headed back to the US, but this little compact and quaint hotel had grown on me so much. As a business executive who used to travel worldwide staying at different 5 star hotels pre-Covid, I rarely feel motivated to leave a review, unless i get super upset by something. Except a few selfish guests that smoked in the room next to mine, my stay was so immaculate that 5 months just flew by. It was definitely my “home away from home” as I spent most of my time in Tainan holed up in my room working day and night. The mattress and pillows were very comfy and the room provided everything a typical business traveler would need. The WiFi could be faster but I had no issue tethering 4G from my phone for video calls. The Western breakfast choice for complimentary breakfast was tasty enough for me to have the same thing consecutively for 3 weeks straight once. Next time I am back to Tainan solo, I will not hesitate to call the friendly and caring front desk up and request my room 602 back. See you next time, everyone! Thank you for taking exceptional care of me. TL;DR: highly recommended by a picky traveler. You def get your money’s worth.

The assigned room type has a bathtub and the bathroom is clean. There is no smoke smell in the room and the air conditioner is cold enough.
The double bed room has two single beds joined together, but it won't be difficult to sleep. It is worth mentioning that two quilts are provided, which is very considerate.
There are snacks downstairs to enjoy, a washing machine and dryer are available, and bicycles can also be borrowed.
There are many parking spaces in the basement parking lot, but the parking spaces are small for RVs.
Overall it's highly recommended.

The breakfast felt like the breakfast shop next to it, and neither I nor my boyfriend ate cows. The counter lady did not ask if she had cows or other allergic foods when she checked in at night. Although it is our fault that we didn't say it ourselves, the breakfast at the hotel wasted directly ⋯⋯.
Motel can't help smoking, this is understandable, but when you enter the room, the smell of smoke comes and adds a bathtub, you smell body odor ⋯

The Ronchamp Villa is located in a quiet alley next to the Anping Castle. It is a two-story bungalow with a front yard and a backyard. This was a standout in the Anping area where Fujian-style bungalows were common at the time. The Western-style houses are really amazing. There is an endless stream of people stopping to watch, and it has become a good story! The Ronchamp Villa is named in tribute to the La Chapelle de Ronchamp completed by French architect Le Corbusier in 1954. Its architectural form and distinctive features make us think about how this design trend affected the land of Taiwan. From 1954 to 1964, 10 years of design pulse from Europe to Taiwan. The old bungalows witnessed the development trajectory of society and recorded the appearance of the times, leaving Anping with cultural treasures worth preserving. The old bungalow that has been standing in Anping for 60 years has inevitably left its traces over time, but it still has its own characteristics and is still eye-catching and makes people stare unconsciously. In 2023, Langxiang Villa welcomes more people to experience the beauty and cultural heritage of this building in the form of a B&B. It is an original life experience. Come here to see how it was built with old fire bricks, traditional building materials in that era. Western-style houses, old window grilles, copper wire millstones, colored window holes, and crabapple stained glass are all masterpieces of craftsmanship by old masters. Convenient location in the city, with attached parking spaces, suitable for driving. The high-floor space design is very comfortable, and the small courtyard in the middle is also very delicate and warm. The style of the room is as beautiful as the webpage display, and the equipment is also perfect. I am also very satisfied with the attached steam iron. The whole glass design makes the space more open, but the sound insulation is not very good. You may need to pay attention to the volume when staying. It was a very satisfying accommodation experience!

A business hotel located in the East District of Tainan City. Although it has a bit of history, it has a great location. Dadong Night Market is only a 3-minute walk away, and Rende Interchange takes only 10 minutes. There are also many restaurants nearby, 24-hour hot pot restaurants, tiramisu desserts, etc. Parking at the door is convenient, and a personal breakfast is also included. The service attitude is also very friendly. It would be better if there are funds and equipment that can be refurbished.

Nice location and good service. It’s about 300 meters to the train station. Hotel Tainan is more than 60 years old, the furniture is old and the room is relatively small. The bathroom is small but comes with a bath tub. No hair dryer and no safe in the room. Surprisingly the room key is still old style. The check out time is 11 am. I stayed extra 4 hours from 11 am to 3 pm and I was charged $NT 1130.

GGuest UserBecause of the work relationship, I stayed at the hotel very late, but the lady at the counter in the evening shift was still warmly greeted and received, as if I felt like I was home. After I checked in, I thought it would be much worse than I thought, because the experience of the backpacker inn I have lived in before told me, The situation inside is not necessarily good, but after coming here, it completely subverted my idea. It is completely the most ideal look in my mind. So I experienced the best backpacker stay for one night. I think this should be one of the reasons why *Sacrifice is so popular. I want to come to Tainan next time. This side should be my first choice.

GGuest UserSomer Hotel is a gem of a place to stay in Tainan. I stayed in two different rooms during my stay, one being the tatami room and one Western hotel style. Both were spacious, clean, and really comfortable. My favorite part was the snack and drink tray provided and refilled each night so that guests can try delicious ********* food. The breakfast provided was varied and delicious. You do have to reserve the time you want to eat, but that prevents long lines and crowding during the meal. The lounge where breakfast is served is also a nice place to hang out or do work outside of the hotel room. Other amenities like wifi and the bathroom products provided were great. Service was really good and the staff was extremely welcoming and helped us to call a taxi when we needed one. The hotel is in a great location and is easily walkable to historical landmark Chikan Tower and numerous restaurants and markets. I would definitely recommend Somer Hotel as a home base for exploring or even somewhere to take naps and relax while experiencing all the amazing food that Tainan has to offer.

GGuest Userwe stayed Nov 15-17/22. the male staff [forgot his name] was very professional, helpful, kind, efficient, pleasant, patience, provided lots of info & tips. hotel very secure which required room key to get in & out of elevator, door to your apt floor & your room. we had a clean, stylish and very spacious room but lack of luggage holder. He brought us a long storage cupboard. had to cover the shower drains after shower to prevent insects getting in & sewage smell. we still smelled scant of sewage even drains were covered. convenient to railway station, eateries and especially close by market very busy on weekend with lots of foods etc etc.

隨隨手拍拍～開心過生活The receptionist at the counter was very helpful and explained in an organized manner. The carpet in the room was very clean and the bathroom was good. I will definitely book a room again if I have the opportunity. It was a very satisfying stay experience.

朵朵朵小花This time I wanted to come to Xinying to stay one night because my children had to get up early for the competition in Xinying. When we arrived, it was already 11:30 in the evening. The service staff still served us very kindly, and they also included McDonald's breakfast in the morning.

CCuipingThis time I stayed in a standard quadruple room. The room was as large as the space displayed in the photos of the website. The toilet was also very large. There was also a bathtub for children to play with water. The shower head was water pressure enough and the water temperature was stable. The cleanliness of the room is also as clean and odorless as netizens say. As for sound insulation, we lived on the 7th floor and did not encounter problems with poor sound insulation.
There are water dispensers, coffee machines, tables, chairs, and sofas in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel. It is convenient to have dinner with friends when you come back from outside. The parking lot is very close and the nearby life function is convenient.
Trip.com After booking, we have a plus hotel Line. It is very convenient to contact directly if you have any questions before check-in. If there is any problem during the stay, the counter staff will kindly reply. A very warm hotel, and I will want to live in Tainan next time.

GGuest UserStrategically placed in the center of Tainan City, smack bang middle of the transportation hub. It is right behind the Main bus stations (North and South) which all buses in the city stop by (some start from those stations), so it would be very convenient for you to get around. As for the Train Station, it is a 3 minute walk from the hotel, which makes easier for people to travel further but still feel close enough to comeback. The hotel it self its pretty okay. The beds are clean and soft, they have a big bathroom, and spacious rooms for the most of it. For a budget hotel, i think its about worth it. The only downsides in my opinion are the windows, they layered them with black stickers and leave maybe a 10-20 cm gap that we can see through. Though it was buildings only buildings outside, feeling that you have more window view wouldn't be so bad. And the other thing, is the walls are a bit thinner, so it could not contain our noise neither our neighbours. Still, I understand that's a trade off. Overall, It's an okay place to stay.

AAnonymous UserThe homestay is close to the Confucius Temple and Chishang Building. Because I am not familiar with the road section, I went the wrong way when I found the road but saw many monuments (small luck).
At the corner of the hotel, there are Simbak, McDonald's, Zhengda Book City, and Jiuchengjiu Stationery Store; the convenience store takes about 5 minutes to walk, a little distance.
The entrance corridor of the hotel is about two people shoulder to shoulder in and out of the width. The sound insulation is not very good. You will hear the voice of a slightly louder volume next door. There is a small air window in the room.
Hot water is very fast, water temperature, water pressure is stable.
The legendary stairs can be a punching spot, really straight; climb up or down the stairs will be autonomous and careful.
The homestay is located in a small alley, and taxi parking is not convenient.
Overall satisfaction, in line with the price.

GGuest UserThe staff is really nice and helpful, they gave me good recommandations for Tainan and my next trips as well, I cancelled my last nights because I changed my plans and they gave me a refund. There are workshops every evening (learning how to make coffee, cocktails,...) in a friendly atmosphere so it's easier to meet people from Taiwan and travelers from other countries alike. The hostel is really well located, just next to the train station so it's very convenient. The hostel entrance is located inside the Family Mart. There are several showers, toilets and the washing machine is free, so as the breakfast. Highly recommend!!! :)
