Came here for 3 nights during CNY. Good breakfast buffet (with real coffee) and a decent room for the price. They also have laundry facilities, which was very useful. Near the Old Town. Appreciated one of the staff members helping me get a taxi to KW train station, which was a real ordeal considering the traffic jam we had to deal with.

This is a hotel on the Kaifeng campus of Henan University. It should be said that this is also the hotel with the best environment in the entire Kaifeng city. We drove around all the hotels in Kaifeng, and Kaifeng really left us with such a controversial impact! There are unfinished buildings everywhere. Although there are many small B&Bs and small hotels, they really feel like they are either messy, dirty or noisy! Kaifeng is really an ancient city for electric vehicles. I have been to nearly fifty cities across the country, but I have never seen electric vehicles crossing the road in Kaifeng! At the red light, there is a huge crowd of electric cars, running rampant, and there are people of all ages without helmets. Although the surrounding area of ​​this hotel is also overgrown with weeds, it is not very messy, especially there are no messy people and cars. Because it is connected to the university, there is plenty of room to move around! You can walk around the entire campus. Although the university is in the summer vacation and the hygiene is very poor, the quiet and huge campus with shady trees is a familiar and working environment for me. It is very suitable for us as professors! The hotel is very old. Did Ctrip upgrade it for me? The elegant room is newly decorated in a new Chinese style. It is small in size but quiet, and all office stationery is prepared. What is particularly uncomfortable is the toilet seat. It is too narrow and is only suitable for children. Even a small person like me cannot sit down. How can a man who is 1.89 meters tall use the toilet? The drain in the shower room is too shallow, the quality of the shower head is too poor, and water splashes into the bathroom. The entire bathroom needs to be renovated, and the wall beside the bed has fallen off. We traveled by ourselves, and the surrounding transportation still couldn’t provide a feasible reference!

The hotel is located slightly away, 20 minutes' drive from Qingming Riverside Park. It is recommended that those who need breakfast should try to book a room with breakfast included. The spicy soup here is a local specialty. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they also sent Kaifeng specialty snacks. Especially the waiters 1, 6 and 8 were attentive and answered all questions. They recommended the surrounding specialties and tasted good. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.
