Best Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Hotels

"Pros: - Well located right next to bus station, while still being quiet - well located right next to ”downtown” Chamonix - Keep your luggage if arrive early & when check out but travel arrangement is later on - clean room, with a view of the mountain - has an arcade at the lobby for children - front desk always available to help and provide travel tips Cons: - Pricey for a 3 star hotel, 220 USD per night, no breakfast included - House keeping attempted to enter my room while I had put up the sign to not disturb, therefore woke me up in the process. When I went to check the do not disturb was removed. Either by housekeeping or another hotel guest. - Bedroom felt a bit small, but I dont know if that is just a european thing in general - No queen beds, instead its two double beds sticked together. So dont sleep in the middle of the bed unless you want back pain"

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the Alps! Location: The hotel is ideally situated with stunning views of Mont Blanc and easy access to the town and ski lifts. Whether you’re there for skiing, hiking, or simply soaking in the beauty of the mountains, the location couldn’t be better. Rooms: My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured a cozy alpine style with modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Dining: The food was fantastic! Breakfast each morning was a generous spread with a variety of fresh options, from pastries to local cheeses and fruits. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the gourmet meals exceeded my expectations. The chef does an excellent job incorporating local ingredients into traditional dishes, all with a contemporary twist. Facilities: The hotel spa is a hidden gem—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or skiing. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful, and the massage I had was the best I’ve had in a long time. They also have a great lounge area with a fireplace, perfect for unwinding with a book or enjoying a drink in the evening. Service: The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with any request, whether it was booking excursions, providing local recommendations, or simply ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my stay. Bonus tip: The best Indian restaurant is walkable distance (400 meters) from the hotel - Annapurna 2. Must visit 😉 Overall, Chalet Hotel in Chamonix combines luxurious comfort with the charm of an authentic alpine retreat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to return!"

"The two rooms in the room are semi-underground, very quiet, two bathrooms, separate bathroom, no smell in the room, the hotel location is very good, shopping and eating are very convenient, the view is average, the front desk is very warm, the bar is rich in drinks, and there are freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast is quite satisfactory. Kitchen utensils are not very clean. Toilet and bathroom living room rooms are OK."

"The Alpina Eclectic Hotel is set in a beautiful spot in Chamonix, offering stunning mountain views from the balconies—a major highlight! The breakfast bar has a great selection, making for a lovely start to each day. Parking is worth planning around: on-site parking is €30 per night, but there’s a nearby public lot that charges €22 for 24 hours, with flexible rates that vary every 15 minutes (cheaper after 7:30 pm). One of the nicest perks is the free one-hour spa access, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or skiing. Additionally, the hotel provides a complimentary train pass for visiting nearby towns, adding a lot of value and convenience. Overall, the Alpina Eclectic Hotel offers excellent amenities, views, and transport options, making it a fantastic choice for a Chamonix stay."

"The cable car station was close and the location was convenient. It's a little far from the city, but you can get to the center within 10 minutes on foot. There is some inconvenience in that the lighting in the room is a little dark, but if you think about enjoying nature, it may be a good and unusual experience."

"Pool wasnt warm so wasnt as nice as I had hoped. Would if loved a sauna at the hotel over a jacuzzi, that again wasnt warm. Good breakfast! Definitely worth the extra to get you fuelled for the slopes. I 100% would recommend hiring a car, we managed to venture to other ski slopes and get home when we wanted to rather than having to go vis the bus timetable. The bus stop is on the hotel grounds though so not too bad. Not walking distance to the slopes. The hotel staff were great. Gave some good advise on getting over to Italy for the a day, we had the mont blanc ultimate pass and was totally worth it to visit Italy and the wider slopes. The ski shop gentleman was amazing, super helpful. Well worth the money to stay there."

"Good to stay for going to downtown and Chamonix station. A lot of restaurants are located in near. But The Hotel was under construction at April, 2024."

"The location, breakfast, and amenities are good. The Chamonix Sud bus stop is close, the road to the city is pretty, and the Edigwimidi(?) gondola is right in front. The room is a bit small for the price, and there were some unpleasant aspects about the cleaning. The swimming pool and sauna are neither too little nor too much, just right. Except for the peak season, if the price is reasonable, It is a recommended accommodation."
