Our stay at the Arcadia Hotel was truly idyllic and met our expectations. This resort is located on a beautiful, private island called Pandanan, opposite Timba Timba Island. Its location is wonderful. The hotel's facilities and decor are very beautiful, luxurious and white. It has a very large infinity pool where you can enjoy the view of Timba Timba Island. We've read some negative comments about the buffet, but for us, it was truly incredible for its variety and quality. Even more so considering the hotel is on a remote island. The kitchen staff, and especially the cook, is a talented and very pleasant gentleman. Additionally, the stay includes a day trip to an island, snorkeling, and a boat ride to watch the sunset. The only negative point I consider is that the island's shores are littered with bottles and other plastic products, which is truly shocking and sad. I think whether the trash comes from another island or not, they should definitely take this into account and have the staff clean up the beach. Thank you very much!

Overall I enjoyed our stay in sky water villa. When I was booking I read the reviews also worried that they are a bit old, so that the houses might not be well maintained. But during my stay I feel like the houses are used but still in okay manner. The best thing for this hotel is that I think they have the best house reef, and you can see turtles at night from your balcany. I went snorkling a few times during my stay I saw quite a few clown fish aka nemo and many fishes and even a sea eel one day. They also provide “galss” kayak which you can watch sunset on it. And the best thing they offer is that the tours you book with the villa starts around 10 am, you can just get ready and wait in your room, and when the boat is here the staff will get you from your room, and you’ll finish the tour around 3-4 pm which is the afternoon tea time at the villa. Instead of in the town area you need wake up early and meet and wait at the jetty around 8:15 am . And power supply is stable just may be ocassion blackout but it would turn back on very soon. However I do think they need to clean their air con as the one in our room seems very dusty, we had to clean the filter ourselves, they were very dusty. And during the afternoon coz our villa faces the sunset direction the air con feels a bit not strong enough. And the aircon outer unit is installed right at the room’s wall so it’s a little bit noisy, I’d suggest why not just use a more powerful window unit instead. The food is so so, but it’s difficult to cater everyone’s preference for food. The hotel is not cheap and maybe not very cost effective compare to hotels in other places, but to be fair i think if you want to go to semporna, this might be a reasonable option as overall semporna and malaysia is very expensive for tourists. And i higly recommend to stay at least 2-3 nights instead of 1 night to fully enjoy and relax yourself.

Very good stay, they got all the things I need. Breakfast was fairly good but not horrible. The location was not far from town, they have electricity bicycle for rent, and easy to move around.

The hotel is located in a small town. The overall design is garden-style. The environment is very satisfactory. You can see the sky full of stars when you look up. The butler provides group service throughout the whole process, and there is no barrier to communication in Chinese. The only drawback is that the suite only has one room card, which is not very convenient. The other overall is very good, and the facilities are also good. It is a hotel worth recommending~

It takes about 20 minutes to get there from the pier. You can go directly into the sea from the room. The water is very clear. You can see the sea as soon as you open the French window. I don’t think I have ever written a review of a hotel. I returned home from Semporna after a transfer in the middle of the night, but my heart was still in the water house in Semporna. It was my first time to Malaysia. I saw that this water villa was new and had high ratings, so I booked it with the mentality of giving it a try. The result was really beyond my expectations. Along the way, everyone was amazed by the jelly-like ocean, the clearly visible starfish, and the various small fishes everywhere. The clean rooms, the quiet environment with only six rooms, the fresh and hygienic dishes, the fun of being able to go down from the public area to play in the water and catch crabs at any time, the simple black people who took close care of us while diving and took us to visit the Bajau people, all left our family with a good impression of Semporna and even Malaysia. The owner was so enthusiastic and helped us book fireflies and cars. It was conscientious and affordable, cheaper than the platform and the agency. The boss upgraded me to a sea view room facing the sea. You can snorkel on the beach at the door. There are schools of fish, starfish and small tropical fish. At night, the staff took me to see crabs and look for blue eyes. The children liked it very much. The boss is Chinese and arranged it very well. From picking us up at the airport to sending us back to the airport, he also sent us to Semporna town for a walk. We stayed for two nights and free pick-up. The meals were also very good.
