* **Clean and tidy rooms:** The guest rooms are exquisitely decorated, with great attention to detail in both the hard and soft furnishings. The floors, walls, and ceilings are all well-maintained. Facilities such as the in-room safe, mirror, and vanity are comprehensive and very clean.

* **Diverse room types:** They offer standard room types like king-sized beds, twin beds, and family rooms, as well as unique tent rooms, catering to the needs of different travelers. Each room type also has a small balcony, perfect for enjoying the view.
**Service:**
* **Thoughtful and attentive service:** The owner specifically imports seasonings from China to cater to Chinese tourists' tastes. The owner is kind, beautiful, and incredibly warm.
* **Convenient transportation shuttle:** They provide a shuttle service, making it easy for guests to get around. This is very considerate for visitors unfamiliar with the area.

XXingfuxianghuaerdewoOur group booked four rooms. Overall, for the price in this small town, it's pretty good value for money. We stayed here last year too. Previously, we had shared bathrooms, but this time, wanting a private bathroom for the family, we opted for the bunk beds with private baths. However, the first-floor rooms weren't as comfortable as the second-floor ones. If you have a choice, I'd recommend avoiding the tatami-style beds; we found a lot of ants under ours, but the staff were excellent and dealt with it very quickly. If I were to choose again, I'd definitely go for a second-floor room. It was very, very, very clean~!

GGuest UserIt was my first time to Semporna with my friends. After landing, we chose a forest resort homestay with a good reputation in the town and stayed there for two nights. Before checking in, the boss set up a group to communicate in advance about the pick-up, which made us feel particularly at ease~ The small wooden house we stayed in was clustered in the natural environment of the palm forest and I loved it. During the stay, the boss provided a lot of local tips. We went to the seafood market every night to buy seafood and returned home with a lot of seafood. I never thought that one day I would be full of two mantis shrimps. Sisters, if you live in the town, you can go for it and don’t step on thunder.

MM532750****My stay at 'Fairy Tale Wonderland Resort' in Semporna completely exceeded my expectations. Let's start with transportation: the hotel offers a shuttle service that picks you up directly from the airport, which was a huge convenience. The driver was incredibly friendly and even gave us tips on where to exchange money and reliable dive shops.
The accommodation was fantastic. The room had wooden floors and a high ceiling, and it felt clean and dry. The bed was super soft, and the pillows weren't flat at all. The big sea turtle plushie on the bed was absolutely adorable. Both the fan and air conditioning were quiet at night, ensuring a very restful sleep. The courtyard felt like a small garden with coconut trees, flower walls, and colorful signs. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit on the woven hanging chair and zone out; every photo I took turned out beautifully.
The food deserves a special mention. For dinner, we ordered steamed crab, mantis shrimp, soy-sauce steamed fish, and a plate of water spinach. The freshness was undeniable, and the cooking was perfectly executed, bringing out the natural flavors of the seafood without being overly salty or greasy.
Overall, the hotel's attention to detail in service was excellent: convenient transfers, clean and comfortable rooms, and high-quality food. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in Semporna, I highly recommend staying here.

JJayno陳政融The location is good, close to the fish market and there's a big supermarket nearby. The room is clean. It was a bit noisy at night with dogs fighting outside. The air conditioning was slow to cool down, but it was fine to go grab a meal while waiting for it to kick in. For the price, it really met our expectations. The elevator was big enough, which was nice. The staff even took us to the fish market to find a currency exchange place. The service was genuinely great.

GGuest UserComing to Semporna alone, choosing this hotel was a wise decision. The room was clean and quiet, with a sea view right outside the window, and I was gently woken by the sunrise every day. What touched me the most was how the staff treated me like family. They remembered my name, proactively helped me arrange island hopping tours, and recommended safe and delicious local eateries. Every day after returning from the sea, I'd enjoy a free coffee in the lobby and chat with the front desk about my day's adventures. I never felt lonely, even though I was by myself. I felt very safe and comfortable staying here, and I'll definitely be back!

BBujiarededashuThis is probably the best hotel in Semporna town. The facilities and hardware are quite good, and the service is excellent. They even offer complimentary juice in the lobby. Just a heads-up when paying the deposit: make sure to have some cash on hand, as two of our cards didn't work. We stayed in a Sunrise Balcony King Room, and the view was absolutely stunning, directly overlooking the Semporna sea, with a glimpse of the infinity pool. Sitting on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. It's also very close to the town center and the pier. There's a small mall downstairs, along with KFC, Pizza Hut, and Haijing Seafood Restaurant, making dining and getting around super convenient. This hotel should definitely be your top choice for accommodation when visiting Semporna.

GGuest UserReally basic hotel. All of the other reviews are correct about the state of it but the location is perfect!!! So close to the best restaurant area and by the water. I would highly recommend staying in this area of semporna. Just know that you're getting a basic room.

GGuest UserOverall, I'm quite satisfied. The room was spacious, and the hotel is located right by the pier. There was dedicated staff to handle luggage, though the facilities are definitely outdated and the room had a strange odor. The service was decent, but the front desk really helped us out of a bind when an unexpected situation arose on our way back.
