Best Burlingame Hotels

"Location was ok as we landed at SFO around 10:30pm and just needed a place to stay before our flight on the next day. But beware you might not be able to get on the first hotel shuttle if you arriving in late-evening. There were quite some of airline crews staying at the hotel so the demand for shuttle could be a bit high during late-evening, i was lucky to get on but some had to wait 15 more mins for the next shuttle. Hotel & the room itself is a bit old, with loud squeaking sound every time i used the shower. Also seems the hotel does nickel & dime a little as they charge $4 for a small bottle of water if you are not their top tier members."

"Everyone was super nice and it was very clean and they really tried their best to accommodate wishes. It is supposed to be in airport hotel so the location is not really close to anything it's at least 15 miles away from most of the attractions. It's in a very quiet area and you can go outside and walk near the large bodies of water. They also have a luggage room which you can use free of charge and is very secure. They do have water but they just have bottled water in the fridge at the front desk so you should kind of purchase your own water and advance otherwise if you get thirsty during the middle denied or something then you don't have. They did have a microwave which was nice and a bathtub which was very clean. I Their breakfast was very sparse and also not good if you have sensitivities or allergies because it was basically just cereal milk coffee juice a pancake/waffle maker and 1 or 2 different types of eggs and maybe a sausage. They also have bread that you can toast but realistically if you're a gluten free or you can't eat sugars or if you're diabetic then you should plan not to have the breakfast. Also some of the breakfast was actually very cold but they really try their best and they're very very nice and kind the staff I mean. "

"The facilities and hygiene were similar to expectations, but the airport shuttle bus was terrible! The distance was less than 5 kilometers, which should only take a few minutes, but the hotel front desk said it would take ten minutes. In the end, we went to many other hotels to pick people up, and ran to 6 hotels. It took half an hour to get to the airport. People who are in a hurry should be careful. The driver asked for a tip. It took half an hour to travel a few minutes, and I didn't even want to give him a tip."

"Excellent overall. The room was very clean, comfortable, and attractive. Location just minutes from the airport and rental car returns. It's a little isolated, but has what looks like a solid restaurant with a surprising variety of drinks and dishes. More restaurants are about 5 minutes away, on the way is parking for a pleasant bay walk. The only real complaint is the lable/signage on the hotel is out of date, reflecting previous management, so I wasted 5 minutes driving around; hopefully this gets this taken care of soon."

"We were highly let down by our reservation made through trip.com. The front desk made us wait over an hour due to a payment issue with one of the rooms booked through Trip.com. Upon discovering the problem, we promptly reached out to Trip.com for assistance. The customer service assured us of a callback, but unfortunately, we never received one. Moreover, neither the hotel front desk, preoccupied with other check-ins, nor Trip.com followed up on our case. We called Trip.com's customer service many times and finally got the room key. "

"The hotel is very near to the airport by 5 minutes drive and very near to a good dim sum place walking about 7 minutes. The staff named Kathy was super really sweet. We loved her. We stayed there and rented a car to drive around. The room is okay but it's not sound proof as we could hear the door banging very loud and the baby was crying and stuff. After midnight, there was no staff at all so you'd better check in before that. There's no disposable toothbrush so remember to bring your own."

"A good location if you are just transiting SFO, breakfast is very nice, the room is clean, though old and wifi is very stable... VERY friendly front desk, it's my primary choice when transiting SFO if the price is right..."

"Convenient location good restaurant I was in room 5011 Water Pressure was extremely low very difficult to wash shampoo out of my hair. Bed was comfortable. Tv and program selection was good. Airport shuttle was good"

"It's a nice hotel near the SF International Airport. So it's easy to get there in 10 mn using the hotel shuttle (every 30 mn). That's not an hotel to stay for a long time if you want to visit San Francisco. The shuttle drops you at the airport, then you have to take the BART (public transportation) which costs about USD 11.50 to get to the City (the same to come back). Or a taxi/Uber which is also expensive. It's an hotel to begin or to finish with a trip to relax after or before a flight. The closest town is Burlingame (8 mn driving) which is a cute little town if you want to go for a little shopping. But that's a small town. The check out is late, very positive point. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is nice and with a large choice. There is a bar, a restaurant, a pool and a fitness room. The view is nice on the bay area side. The only thing to change is the coffee maker Cuisinart in the bedrooms: it's leaking and you have water all over when you make a coffee. It's for one or two cups, but even for one cup, a part of the water leaks in the second hole... I would suggest to use a quality housemaker, not a Cuisinart toy (the coffee maker is near the bed). The overall feeling is very good and once again, I'd like to thank the staff (reception, restaurant, housekeeping) who has always been pleasant and kind. Most important !"
