"The only good thing about PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is its location right at the terminal. Beyond that, everything in the room comes with a charge, even a bottle of mineral water. Unless you’re prepared to pay extra for room service, bring your own water and essentials. Convenience is all you’re really paying for here."

"We checked in to Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport without any problem. Armil at reception was very friendly and helpful. However upon our check out the next day on 9 Sept the lady at front office is very rude and unhelpful. My husband left a package at the reception and stated the room no we stayed and informed them I will pick it up upon check out. The front office lady has no initiative to look for the item and just informed that she could not find it. We ended up missing the package we kept with the reception. This is quite unbelievable for a 4 star rating hotel to have front office staff being so rude and unhelpful to their guests. This lady staff work at the front office on 9 Sept morning at 7am. "

"More affordable than other airport hotels. While it's a bit older, it's clean and tidy. It's a 10-minute walk from the airport. On the way to the hotel, you'll find a McDonald's and a convenience store. Directions to the hotel: From inside Terminal 1, face the exit and turn left. You'll see an Uber sign. Continue walking straight along the wall until you reach a pedestrian walkway. Follow this walkway to the right, cross the intersection, and then, just before you reach McDonald's, turn left onto another pathway. Keep following this path until the very end."

"Great location near the airport. Advertises a shuttle but waited over 30 minutes never showed when I called I was told I’d have to wait longer. I figured out it was walkable so I walked. Told the manager, but didn’t receive follow up because she never took my name or room number. Check in on kiosk so easy and convenient. Room service or restaurant in lobby available. Bedroom was amazing view and overall really spotless. No water in the room but have the option to buy in the restaurant. Great sleep and very clean bathroom."

"We are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!"

"Very clean, well-equipped, with good supermarket and shopping mall facilities in the surrounding area. It is about half an hour's drive from the city center CBD. It is an apartment worth staying in for families"
