Excellent location, room size is standard for Tokyo, great amenities - in the room and at the lobby. Everything you needed was provided. Toothbrushes, water, slippers and even a skin care set, all in premium packaging and quality. In the lobby, a whole area is set up with complimentary drinks (coffee/tea/water) and for you to rest/work before you leave. Also, late check-out is available but at 2000 Yen per hour.

Convenient location, the subway station is just downstairs across the street. Very clean and very friendly staff. They also provide great drinks (bottled water and tea). Our stay was a thrill. Only complaint? Room is a bit small for my size, but that’s on me.

Room is not big but good enough. Thanks for the face mask and steam eye mask, etc provided. I travelled with my daughter. I got really bad gastro and called reception/concierge and asked if they had any medicine as I was basically too sick to walk. They said no and did not offer any other help. It was the first time my daughter (13-yr old) being in Japan. I had to send her out to buy some medicine for me. Thank Google map. 

Hotel itself is an old and beautiful building. Location is perfect, close to everything. I recommend it to people who don’t care much about services.

Trip.com's rating is too high; it should really be around 4.0-4.2. If I had just checked Google beforehand, I wouldn't have booked this hotel.

Pros: Good location, quiet air conditioning.

Cons: The facilities are incredibly old. The dark flooring looks ancient, the toilet seat is icy cold, and flushing requires reaching awkwardly behind it. The coating in the sink is peeling off in patches. The showerhead is the most baffling thing – you can't adjust its angle, so if you're 1.6m tall, it's either blasting your face or your stomach! And to top it off, it's *only* a high-pressure jet mode! Unbelievable! The room is very humid, so clothes don't dry. There are no USB ports or power outlets by the bed, and the desk lamp is covered in dust. The room is also extremely small.

Too lazy to take photos; I just felt it was dirty.

Good hotel! Really! Room is small, but you know that already from the description. It is small, but there is enough space to leave your bags and stuff around, and still have enough space to  “breathe”. Bathroom is really new and normal. Room was clean and bed / pillows were super soft. Hotel stuff was nice and you have a shelf with free drinks near the reception. Definitely check this hotel. I stayed around in a couple of hotels in Tokyo with similar description. This price is super good, the hotel is new and location is great. :-)

Location: Right next to JR Namba Station, directly accessible from Exit 30. It's about a 10-minute walk to Takashimaya.

Housekeeping: Rooms are cleaned every other day, and the cleanliness was quite good.

Service: The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff. Check-in is at 3 PM, and they provide luggage storage if you arrive early.

Room/Amenities: The room was impressively spacious – we could open two 28-inch and one 20-inch suitcase at the same time without obstructing movement, which was incredibly convenient for organizing our belongings. A minor drawback was the bathroom, which only had a bathtub and no separate walk-in shower, which I found a little inconvenient.

On-site/Nearby Facilities: There's a supermarket and a small FamilyMart convenience store in the hotel's basement, perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. The building next door has a Daiso (100-yen store) on the first floor and the airport shuttle bus stop on the second floor, making everything incredibly accessible.

Right by the alley entrance, you'll find the hotel. Downstairs, there's a duty-free pharmacy that also sells snacks, which is incredibly convenient. After checking in, we got to our room, and in a nutshell: it was small but well-appointed, neat, tidy, and fully equipped – we were pretty satisfied.

Walking back to the hotel, I realized the surrounding area is surprisingly lively, right in the heart of Umeda's nightlife. We even saw Japanese political campaigners, with their neat lines, flags, posters, and banners, politely greeting us with ”konbanwa” (good evening).

The hotel itself is very close to the train station, making transportation especially convenient. The facilities are excellent, clean, and well-maintained. The only downside was that our room was on a lower floor, so we occasionally heard the noise from the nightlife downstairs. I imagine those usually serious Japanese salarymen often get quite drunk at this time, letting off some steam. Besides the duty-free pharmacy, there's also a Lawson convenience store right below the hotel, which was fantastic. We made it a daily routine to stop by, buying our breakfast, milk drinks, and of course, delicious ice cream and expensive fruit there every day.

The only minor issue was that the room lighting was a bit dim. The triple room, with one large and two smaller beds, was excellent as it allowed everyone to have their own space without disturbing each other. The hotel's B1 basement has direct access to Nishiumeda Subway Station. The last two pictures show the underground route back to the hotel via exit 6-30, which is also conveniently close to the JR station.

When we first arrived, we went through the wrong entrance, and the front desk staff came down to meet us. The location is excellent; you just cross a pedestrian bridge outside and you're at the subway station. The service was fantastic. We were even more pleasantly surprised when we entered the room—it's definitely a very spacious room for Japan. We had no problem opening all three of our suitcases. The room facilities are very comprehensive. Every day, housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly and replenished everything. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we visit Osaka.

The hotel offers comprehensive facilities, and the room was equipped with an air purifier. It was quite clean and surprisingly spacious. The location is excellent, being close to Watanabedori Subway Station and popular attractions such as Tenjin Underground Shopping Center and Canal City Hakata. There's a 7-Eleven and a sizable supermarket right outside, which makes buying breakfast and fruits very convenient. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and is quite spacious. When I accidentally scalded my hand with hot water, the front desk staff immediately provided an ice pack for prompt treatment. I really appreciated their quick assistance.

Choosing Hotel Monterey La Soeur Fukuoka this time was an incredibly smart decision! My overall experience was extremely satisfying, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka.

**Prime Location**: Transportation is super convenient! It's truly the perfect starting point for travelers who rely on public transport.

The hotel lobby also offers complimentary coffee, which is a lovely touch for a warm drink before heading out or upon returning.

There's no doubt that this will be our top choice again for our next trip to Fukuoka! A big thank you to all the hotel staff for their outstanding service!

The hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast offered a wide and delicious selection. The location is excellent, just over a 10-minute walk to Tenjin Underground Mall and the bustling Tenjin shopping district, home to major department stores like Mitsukoshi, PARCO, and Daimaru. There's also convenient access to numerous subway and bus lines nearby. Plus, a FamilyMart is right across the street to your right as you exit.
