"Our stay at Yamato Hostel was okay overall. We arrived around midnight, and the location felt a bit off the main road, so it was quite dark. For safety, I would advise not going out at night. There was one security guard outside, which gave us some reassurance.
Inside, the lobby looked nice and welcoming. If you have large luggage, take note that there is no lift, but the staff will assist in bringing your bags to your room.
We booked the family suite, which was spacious and generally pleasant. The bed was soft and comfortable, but unfortunately we couldn’t sleep well because the room was hot. The downside is that there was only one air conditioner in the living room. This made the bedroom stuffy, even when we set the air conditioner to the lowest temperature. With two toddlers, I was glad we had brought a mini fan with us.
Overall, if you are traveling without kids, this place can be a good choice. But with young children, I personally would not stay here again."
