The hotel has a beautiful environment, and the waiters have a good attitude. Although the restaurant has to be booked, it tastes good. The airport is too far into the hotel and the traffic is inconvenient. The hotel is very quiet. I often hear the sound of breathing. I feel good overall!

The hotel is located in Anda, away from the complex of Panglao and Tagbilaran. The entire resort has 16 rooms, closed management, very good privacy, with large white sand beaches and clean sea water. The hotel's double rowing boats and skateboards can be played for free. If you are not tall, you can snorkel at the beachside of the hotel. For free, the hotel’s diving club also provides life jackets. There are several professional diving instructors in the hotel's diving club to teach diving. The hotel's boat is going out for diving three times a day (for a fee). As long as ten minutes of boating, both my husband and I participated, seeing turtles and many fish and corals, regret it. In Panglao, I wasted time to go to Baricasa. There are many similar faults and corals on the bottom of Anda, so I can see a lot of things and the one-on-one coach here is very safe. Many guests are diving two times a day. However, this resort is located in Anda, two hours drive from Tagbilaran, renting a car from Tagbilaran to 3000P, we have a car park from Panglao to play the Butterfly Garden, the tarsier reserve and the Chocolate Hill total 5000P fare. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. It’s not comparable to Panglao ALONA. The beach is white and delicate, and the sea is quiet and beautiful. It is suitable for families who like quiet vacation. Need to remind domestic tourists that the resort does not provide disposable items in order to reduce garbage, you need to bring your own toothbrush slippers, etc., and three meals a day are in the resort, there is basically no possibility of going out for food, wifi is slightly worse, from time to time dropped, but The original nature of the resort is kept very good, the service staff is professional and enthusiastic, the resort lives next to the OWNER family, and comes to chat with guests every day.

Nice people, it was fun with the birthday celebration, the band was ok.. It was our second time stays. Still we will come back again next year. Don't expect luxurious stay but it was a feeling of being in a home in front of the beach. The pool was good, though I don't like the idea of no lifeguard no swimming policy especially if you are an adult, you can't swim in the night anymore which is kinda unfair and boring...

We recently stayed at the Mithi for one week on November and it was a beautiful hotel to stay at, the pool and views are beautiful, we did snorkelling just off the beach the hotel has a boat and they will take you out to the reef which is really good, the rooms are cleaned great, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful they are all great, the food is very nice but you do need to add a few more vegetarian options to the menu, there is not much around so you do need to rent a motor bike or pay for a tuk tuk to see the island, I would definitely recommend staying here, Thankyou for a great holiday! What didn't you like:
A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked.
We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food.
•On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400.
•When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited.
•Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food.
•The leaves in each salad were stale.
•Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage.
•There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone;
I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours.
•Hand soap has not been refilled in two days;
• The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there;
•The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected.
• One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it;
• Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes.
Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask.
I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!

The 2 guides during our private river tour going to the falls were amazing and did a great job. Good selections on breakfast buffet. The price of the room is very reasonable without experiencing below: Room # 36 is next to the public road so you can hear loud motorbikes/tricycles. There was a loud snoring all night. Can’t tell what it was, and we were there for 4 nights. When someone walks on the next door cottage, we can hear the loud noise of the floor movements at night. There was also an unknown creature running on top of the roof at night… I’m guessing a monkey, but we were not brave to go out and investigate. The towels also smelled mold. We asked for new ones but got the same smell. We didn’t bring up the smell because we knew the staff work hard. It also smell mold at the reception area. Overall, good location if your room is far opposite of room 36.

Overall, Azul de Panglao exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it for families looking for a budget-friendly, comfortable, and hospitable place to stay in Panglao. We will definitely be back!

We arrived with only one piece of luggage as the other one got stuck in Barcelona. They helped us trying to get in touch with the airline company. Reasonable pricing for such a tourist focus resort. Fish is expensive along the beach, but a variety of food available for all. I would stay again but don't over pay for something like a sea view you cannot get. See photo of the” ocean breeze view” staff on e again are lovely, clean nice rooms. Enjoyed but don't over pay.

And one action I frequently do is by staying at a hostel. I’ll save for another post the reasons why I love staying at hostels. Moon Fools Hostel caught my attention when I was looking for a place to stay at prior to my Bohol trip. It wasn’t there yet when I last visited Panglao in 2015. Without much information about this hostel, I relied on my instinct that it’s probably one of those few accommodations I’d love. And boy I was right… The moment I entered the hostel, I already knew that it was my kind of hostel – an eco-friendly one. I was happy to have had a great conversation with one of the owners, Mari. That is when I have learned that she and her husband are very passionate about the environment. So it isn’t surprising that the materials used in the construction of their hostel are mostly recycled. It is very admirable as to how they have made use of recycled materials from their curtains (coffee sack) to pillowcases, bedsheet, plastic cups turned into plant pots, lamps from old jars, and even recycled wood materials turned into chairs and tables. Moon Fools Hostel shows that the very essence of recycling is re-using. My stay at Moon Fools also comes with a simple breakfast that you get to prepare on your own. It usually consists of oats, raisins, mallows, some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg plus your choice of drinks (coffee, tea, or chocolate). Plus bananas too! I also like the fact that they have these little ecotourist reminders all over their place – from the bathroom to the dining area. The local staff of Moon Fools is the usual endearing and respectful Boholano people. During my 2-night stay, I have noticed that I was the only Filipino. What else to expect with Moon Fools Hostel: All rooms have air conditioning. Free WiFi is available from the lounge area to the rooms. The hostel offers airport shuttle services at an extra charge. The hostel has a shared communal bathroom. A 24-hour convenience store, a cafe and a restaurant are found on the 1st floor of the hostel. There are motorcycles and bicycles for rent. Water sports facilities are also available.

GGuest UserI always stayed at Alona Beach, but there were too many people and it was crowded, so I moved to a quieter place. Since it was in a place where local Filipinos live, it was quiet and secluded, there was no solicitation, and there was no noise from tuk-tuks or motorcycles, so it was really nice.
The room was clean and well-organized overall, and very spacious. Except for the weak water pressure in the bathroom, the air conditioner worked well, and the bedding was clean. There were a lot of ants, but I think that's to be expected in nature.
Since it's an open space on the main street, a security guard works at night for safety. It's close to Dolho Beach with white sand and the luxurious Modala Resort, so it's good for an outing.

It is about 4 kilometers from Alona Beach and 5 minutes by motorcycle. The beach is quite primitive, and there are very few tourists. There is a church that looks some years old in the sand.
