"Stayed a couple of nights in NYX Hotel Bilbao. The location of the hotel is ideal, with most attractions within easy walking distance. Close to the old part of Bilbao which has plenty of restaurants and bars. Also close to shops and a nice riverside walk to the Guggemheim museum. Can’t rate food as did not use hotel amenities. Overall the hotel had a modern stylish feel to it. Check in and out was speedy and staff were courteous.Rooms are quite small and the glass walled bathroom may not suit everyone’s taste. All in all, we were happy to stay at this hotel for it’s location and overall stylishness."

"It's true that I was deceived by the photos! The room was terrible. The parking garage entrance was so small that my rental car was scratched. The facilities inside were very old, and the bedding was hard to describe. In short, this is the worst room I stayed in on my trip to Europe. I basically stayed in rooms in the 800-900 range, but this one was the worst. And the location is not very good. The service was okay."

"A nice hotel just opposite the San Mames stadium. Very quiet (unless there's a game of course), really friendly staff at the reception and elsewhere. 5 minutes walk to subway and tram stations, or great walk through the park to the Guggenheim. Greatly recommended"

"This hotel is a perfect experience! Stepping into the room, everything you see is spotlessly clean, and the owner's warm and friendly smile instantly dispels the fatigue of the journey. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk to the bustling streets, where shopping and dining are within easy reach. There is a church opposite the hotel, and a 5-minute walk to a former Michelin restaurant, which is particularly delicious."

"It was a pretty satisfying stay. Internet is very good and the bed/chair are comfortable. Check in was easily arranged too and there was no issues. Minor negative is that the room is too dark and there is no fridge. - However I guess that is expected with the price. Most annoyingly this is the first ever hotel I have been where they restrict the internet! Even worse they have the cheek to block certain VPN protocols. Pathetic, too need to use a VPN to fully use the internet! Nanny hotel!"

"It was a reservation on the day, but I am grateful that I was able to check in smoothly. There were many places to eat dinner around and it was convenient. The next day, it was early morning check-out but it was smooth and I was able to pick up a taxi immediately. Thank you very much"
