I thought the sauna was included in our stay that’s why I booked the hotel.
When I’ve mentioned it to the staff about not having an additional cost to it when you book online, they told me is part of the spa . This is very confusing as if it was part of the spa why mentioning it and not including it in the spa section .
Spa and sauna are not the same and if it’s a cost to it , that should be mentioned.
Anything else was amazing . Also they don’t have a separate cost to the sauna only ! I just wanted to use the gym and the sauna , no spa though! There was no possibility to book the sauna without the spa.
It’s like 20 euros per acces not per day which I thought it’s a rip off especially when you are already booked with the hotel and you’ve paid for your room! Again staff showed no flexibility , it was either pay for something you won’t use or you don’t get it!
Ended up not booking it because I did not want to use the spa , and I thought it was a lot of money (20 euros) to pay for 15 min use of sauna only.

When booking, I specially found a relatively new hotel. The subway is downstairs. The male compatriots are three subway stops to the St. Mame Stadium to watch the ball. Across the road is the British Palace Shopping Mall. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town. It is very convenient. The hotel does not have a parking lot, and the public parking lot takes more than 10 minutes. There are many restaurants and cafes around, and it is super convenient to eat.

The location is very good, I feel that this is a veteran five-star hotel with a strong Basque style design. The suite I stayed in, the room was large, the view was good, and there was a garage in the ground. Maybe the room is not new enough, but it is well maintained. Next to the park, walk to the Basque Museum for 5 minutes and Guggenheim for 10 minutes. I recommend.

GGuest UserWe had a lovely 4 night stay at the at Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia - Great welcome, Our ‘Privilege’ Room on the 7th floor was lovely very spacious with a very comfortable King size bed, large closet with hanging and shelf space and a large safe. There was a minibar with complimentary water 2 still and 1 sparkling, 2 beers and 2 Coca Cola which was replenished every day. There is a coffee machine. Good controllable air conditioning. The Bathroom had a large walk-in shower. There is a nightclub nearby so there is some noise at night so if you are a light sleeper you should ask for a quiet room. Perfect location - The hotel is 15 min stroll to the Guggenheim museum and its about 10 minute walk from the centres of both the old and new towns, there is a Corte Ingles about 10 mins walk away on the main street and the hotel is just a couple of minutes from the river. The Lobby bar is great and the staff are pleasant and helpful and prices are very reasonable – it was lovely sitting outside having a glass of wine. It is very easy to get to from the airport A3247 bus stop, Journey from the airport is about 20 minutes. Great staff All the staff we met were helpful. Reception is on the 3rd Floor. Breakfast is on the 4th floor with good coffee machines and a great fresh orange juice machine. Thank you to all the restaurant and bar staff especially the manager and also Pedro. The housekeeping was efficient, and everything was spotless. There are so many amazing restaurants and bars in Bilbao serving great food – We were lucky enough to be in Bilbao for the start of the festival and we really enjoyed the amazing firework display on Saturday night. We are already looking forward to returning to Bilbao and the Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a few steps away from the Guggenheim Museum. It is very convenient to take a walk to the city market and the uphill cable car. The breakfast buffet is relatively good, with hot and cold food. Paid parking in the basement is also convenient. Need to book in advance. The front desk and restaurant waiters are more enthusiastic. A hotel that can be recommended.

Interesting experience. Location great for bus station and tram so easy access anywhere. Spotlessly clean, friendly reception. Weirdest shaped room I've ever been in! Bed good. Shower good. All a bit tight for space but for what I paid it's great value for a solo traveller. Major drawback is the buzzing fusebox in the room which is only solved by removing the room card which knocks the room power off. Not a problem when sleeping but keep your phone handy to use as a torch if you need to go to the toilet and so need to slot the key card back in place for room lighting. If you get a great rate I'd choose here all day but if not perhaps I'd look elsewhere to see what's on offer. Bars/restaurants and shops in easy walking distance.

GGuest UserThe most successful hotel booked in Spain this time, the room is very spacious, there is a direct water dispenser on each floor, the room has a coffee machine, and capsules are available every day. The hotel's service is also very good and the front desk is very warm. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the subway station.

GGuest UserThe hotel is well located and the staff all extremely nice and helpful. My room was of a good size and the bed extremely comfortable, but there was no water in the room or any sort of tea/ coffee making facilities which was disappointing. There is no restaurant in the hotel which came as a complete surprise, though you can order room service from 17:30 to 23:00 but the choice of food on offer is limited and poor. The ‘bar’ is also anything but a bar. It’s a desk with a bell on it. Ring the bell and someone appears, takes your order, disappears, and then comes back with your drink. No restaurant, no bar, and no in room facilities let down what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay.

The hotel has a first-class location, right next to the airport bus station, on the small square, and convenient to go everywhere. You can walk to the old town and the museum river.
However, although this hotel is a five-star hotel, it does not have a swimming pool. The breakfast is expensive at 26 euros and is relatively simple (by five-star standards).

SSHILIThe breakfast was really good. The hotel staff is very good, the lobby manager has something. He always communicates patiently and shares it with other people to know about it. It is worthy of praise and recommendation for everyone to stay here. Within 1 km range you can get to the train station and the coach station. Convenience.

GGuest UserThe room is very small, except for towels, all other personal items are not provided, even the water cup is not provided, this is the first time I have encountered this, too strange.
Breakfast is quite satisfactory, no vegetable salad, others are good.
Good location, very convenient to go out and eat and drink.
The pillow was particularly uncomfortable and felt that the pillowcase was full of gas.
The general evaluation is average, will not stay next time.

Ppu30heThe location is great. In the core of Bilbao New Town, there is a parking lot on one or two streets. The overall decoration of the hotel is simple and warm. It has just been renovated in recent years. However, due to the old facilities of the building, it is inevitable that you can smell some kerosene-like smell in the bathroom. Dao, it should be a hot water system. The restaurant downstairs tastes very good, stylish, slightly low cost performance, beautiful rooftop scenery, great bartender
