The cooling system does not work very well and had to change our room. Even then had to use a fan as it was very hot. Do keep this in mind if visiting in summer."

"Let me start with the cons. 1. We booked two separate nights, and for the first night, they put us in a room on the basement level, which was on the same floor as the underground parking lot. The design was quite impractical: after opening the door, the bathroom was immediately to the left, and you had to walk down three or four steps to get to the bed. This was a bit dangerous for anyone needing to use the restroom in the middle of the night! For instance, my husband actually fell once when going to the bathroom at night! 2. The air conditioning wasn't cooling. After talking to the front desk, they said their system showed the AC was working. The two nights we stayed weren't extremely hot, but it was still hard for my son and husband to sleep comfortably. Now for the pros: 1. They offer free 24-hour milk and coffee. 2. The staff's service attitude is excellent. 3. The location is superb. 4. It offers great value for money."

Communications with Emil via WhatsApp (via their website) were timely and responsive."

The hotel is connected to the train station via bus number 10 and the 3A bus, which is only a 5-minute walk away. The service was excellent, with free coffee and tea. There was also free drinking water in the hallway. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and very clean. It was even better than the Marriott I stayed at in Barcelona!"

I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Switzerland. The self-check-in process was clear and straightforward, without any hassle."

After arriving in Bern at 12 o'clock, since it was not the specified check-in time, I wanted to store my luggage in the hotel. When leaving the hotel, the hotel gave me a piece of chocolate as a special gift."

At every turn you can feel the proximity of the couple who run the hotel to the international jazz scene (this year's international jazz festival, which takes place annually in the hotel, is coming to an end this week). Our garden suite on the ground floor with changing room and bathroom was well maintained and invited you to linger in a stylish ambience. The service in the restaurant (and garden pavilion) was friendly and attentive, and the overall cost-benefit ratio was good. The hotel can be recommended without reservation."
