"I stay two nights in total at the Mercure Bendigo Schaller during Grand Prix Weekend. This was my first time travelling to Bendigo. I was very satisfied with the outstanding customer service and the very friendly staff here at the hotel. Location of hotel was good with central access to everything in town. Rooms are quite small and bathroom is almost like a dorm but I must say it was very clean. It would be great if there was a streaming service or casting available with the TV. My Bed was a little uncomfortable but I still managed to sleep in. There is very limited car spaces availble on site but parking is availble next door to hospital and is only $8 a day. Overall I was quite satisfied with everything and enjoyed my time here in Bendigo. I will most likely stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends and family. "
"Studio suite was small but fine for 1 night. Everything clean and tidy. The only negative was the room had a slight cigarette odour - which wasn’t pleasant as rooms are supposed to be non -smoking."
"What a pleasant surprise! Although older, our room was spotless, just the right size, quality towels and a very comfy bed. Snacks and drinks were available in the room for purchase also - a nice thought. The price included breakfast which was a bonus. Fantastic location when going to Ulumbarra theatre. Service was great."
"The hotel is a kind of motel, the location is a bit away from the city, but the hotel suites are good, there are microwave ovens and tableware, you can bring food to heat or buy microwave ovens in the local supermarket."
"Facilities: After all, it is an old hotel with a good location. There are entertainment and dining areas on the first floor, and the rooms are large. I saw that there were double rooms, but suddenly it was no longer available. It feels strange to have 2 people sleeping in 3 beds
Hygiene: It's OK, clean and tidy, but it doesn't feel like it is regularly maintained
Environment: Classic, good location, close to the train station, within walking distance
Service: There is no front desk reception, and you only need to throw the key into a box when checking out. It is convenient"
"This motor inn is now called Lakeside, locating it the property by its name certainly was confusing. Despite paying for a lake view room with a balcony , I was booked in to an old box room overlooking a carpark and missing a balcony. The bathroom floor floods after each shower and the cold slippery floor tiles are definitely a hazard as the little square of bath mat isn’t adequate.
This is the first time I am not assigned the type of room I have paid for through Trip. Perhaps I will think twice making the same booking again. "
"The experience was not good.
The water cup was placed in the refrigerator. I didn't see any problems at first. When the cup was placed at room temperature, I found that the inner wall of the cup was very dirty, and there was a layer of white foam after pouring water.
The faucet of the bathroom basin was leaking, and there was already green moss at the drain.
The sound insulation in the room was very poor.
The sound of the mobile flatbed truck in the restaurant downstairs was very noisy.
The curtain track was broken, resulting in poor shading.
The hair dryer was broken.
The overall decoration was old.
At first, the microwave and the kettle had no power, and the front desk quickly came to change the power key."

"We have stayed at the property before, largely because of its very convenient location. We were going to the ‘Paris - Impressions of Life’ exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery, which is just over the road. The rooms are small and the bathroom tiny so OK for a night or two, but not longer. Also, Room 1, where we were, would benefit from an additional bedside light. Having only one is not very satisfactory. On this last occasion there were a fair few ants inside - unusual at the cusp of autumn and winter. On a more positive note, we did have a very good meal at Wine Bank on View, which is at the front of Allawah."

Great
AArman SijanivandiOur stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff there were incredibly helpful and friendly. Lisa was particularly amazing - a true angel! I highly recommend them.
FFiona DallasPerfect stay, the rooms are beautiful and the bed sooo comfy. Suite 9 is on the top level with a view across the street. It’s quiet and was very cosy on a cold weekend in Bendigo. Will stay again.
GGuest UserIt was very good location and very friendly, nice!
It took a little while for the air conditioning to start and bit easy to hear outside people talking.
Other thing was all good :)
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Best Western Crystal Inn. At first, I was told check-in was only after 2pm, but later the staff kindly called me and said I could check in early. That was very helpful!
There is free parking on the ground floor, and my room was on the first floor, so it was quiet with no noise from cars. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute drive to the City Centre.
The room was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was especially large and clean. Thank you to the friendly staff for the good service!
詹詹It’s a great experience. The feeling here makes me feel like I’m home. I like it very much. It’s great. I like it very much. There are many interesting places nearby
GGary IanProbably one of the cheaper options in Bendigo but it's well kept with clean rooms and very nice and friendly management and staff that will attend to your needs.
Will stay again
GGregoryA simple one-nighter. Very well priced facility, particularly thanks to Trip.com. Positioned very close to an event we were attending, and close enough to everything Bendigo has to offer. The motel is definitely old and needs a full refurb. However, my opinion is that I can't see the value in doing this (certainly as the cost would be perhaps more than it's worth), and of course the cost to stay would rise significantly.
Frankly, its age didn't bother us as it was well presented, clean, had pretty everything you could want, the TV was nicely setup, the bed comfy, we couldn't have asked for more really. If refurbed, I don't believe the additional cost would work in that I suspect the price would have to double at least, therefore diminishing the attraction of a well priced facility. I give it a tick.
GGuest UserThe location was good .The price was very reasonable the facility were acceptable however better cleaning was required as I checked the beside tables & found a drug bag next to the bible in bedside I would have overlooked it but my 9 yr old was present at the time which was totally unacceptable & made the moment uncomfortable with having to explain the situation. Not happy at the least better care was required to protect my child from such exposure to illicit *****.
GGuest UserBooked for a family of 4 (two adults and two children). Arrived after office hours, room was only set up for 3 guests to sleep. Had to sleep on the floor so wife and kids could sleep. Contact after hours number was told they couldn’t do anything until the next morning. Very disappointed and won’t be returning. Lots of traffic at all hours of the night coming/going which kept us awake
MMark169Our trip to Bendigo was a last minute decision. The CBD and surrounding accommodation were booked out. Old Crown Motel across from the Town Hall in Hargreaves street had one room so we took it. We were pleasantly surprised, our room was renovated and spotless, had a nice bathroom and opening window. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The building has high ceiling throughout, huge original staircase (though carpeted) and is in the heart of the CBD.
