"We absolutely loved our stay at the Banff Aspen Lodge! Location is a solid 5/5 — close to everything we needed and super convenient for exploring Banff. As a couple traveling on a budget, we found the price very reasonable, almost comparable to the nearby hostel, which made the comfort and quality here feel like an even better value. Special shoutout to their toilet amenities — they smelled so good they actually made us walk into the Rocky Mountain Soap store afterward and buy things we definitely didn’t need (lol). No regrets though! The breakfast was superb, delicious, fresh, and a perfect start to our days. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely stay here again!"

Its location, slightly removed from the main street, ensures exceptional quietude. Stepping out, you're greeted by pine forests and valleys, exuding that quintessential Rocky Mountain charm. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with excellent soundproofing. The mattress, while on the softer side, provides ample support. I highly recommend opting for a Mountain View room; waking up to the sight of morning mist swirling around the peaks is incredibly therapeutic. The hotel's dining options are of high quality, especially the Eden restaurant, which is renowned locally for its fine dining. The pool, sauna, and gym are all well-equipped, and curling up by the lobby fireplace in winter is wonderfully cozy. Overall, while the Fairmont Banff Springs doesn't pursue an overtly luxurious style, its environment, views, and privacy are outstanding, offering great value for money. "The room was dim and the floor of the shower room was not clean. The bed was worried about the stain when I turned over. I use a hair dryer, so I'm going to go to the bedroom and the bathroom. I wanted a door. I was worried about using it. The staff was happy to take out the laundry It was kind. It was good to be able to stay cheaply in the high season. The kitchen smelled bad. The free breakfast muffin was good."

"Check in time is 4pm and checkout time is 11am, which is a ridiculous policy. Fortunately they're flexible about it. Room was nice and clean. Location is amazing; right in the middle of downtown Banff. The parking lot behind the hotel is where Flixbus and the Sunshine Village shuttle stop. Highly recommended."

"Great value for money. Easy stroll to ski bus stop and the town centre, but a quiet, secluded location. Our room was very clean and spacious. Coffee and tea making, plus fridge, tv etc... were fine and a microwave was available in the hallway. The room was warm, however difficult to control the room temp and unfortunately an air con vent was always on and not controllable. Therefore a background noise all the time. The decor was also a little dated. However, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the next door hotel provided a smart pool and sauna area, as well as a great restaurant for breakfasts. Overall a good experience and would definitely consider staying again."

"The location is convenient, right in the town of Banff. The scenery inside the hotel is also great, with a view of the town street view and the Rocky Mountains. If I have the opportunity to go to Banff again, I will still consider this hotel."

"We were happy with this place. It seems dated but in nice repair (much like our home and ourselves). We wanted it mostly for the fireplace but the room had more than that with a full kitchen and full size appliances. If we ever wanted to be in Banff and make substantial home cooked food, this would be ideal. The bed was great and the staff very kind and friendly. It is in a natural mountain area just five minutes by car from downtown Banff. We had a balcony looking at a Mountain view and deer in the yard in front of the unit. There is bus service into town and free tickets offered by the resort. There is a water slide and an indoor and outdoor hot tub which is nice but not really a breathtaking setting. If you enjoy corn mazes this building has a lot of routing in it that takes a while to learn. We joked with other guests about that. All in all, pretty okay. We would book here again."
