Find 3-Star Hotels in Banff

Overall pretty good, underground parking was rough with little space an terrible parkers. Unfortunately there’s nothing the hotel could do about people’s driving skills. I would recommend this hotel but get back early and walk if you can if you’d like to have a spot for your vehicle.

Surprising cabin, we had a pleasant 2 nights here. The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen and living room were together, the bedroom was bigger than expected, and the bedding was very comfortable. There is heating, the fireplace can also be used, we asked the staff to help us make the fire. There are microwave ovens and induction cookers, simple kitchen utensils, we went to the supermarket to buy ingredients and made dinner by ourselves. In the evening, there was a deer eating grass on the lawn downstairs. The hotel has its own soup pool, which is very small, we are too tired to go soak. The staff is very welcoming and the old-fashioned door lock is not very easy to use.

The counter staff is friendly and the feeling is very comfortable. There are few breakfast options, but a simple gym is good. There is a refrigerator, microwave and bathtub, which is great. There are also many seats in the lounge on the first floor. Open-air bathing is really recommended, and it is very clean! ! I think the CP value is very high, and there is a free parking space! ! It is very convenient to drive to Banff. It is a little distance from the town, about 15 minutes walk. But overall it is still highly recommended.

On March 19th 2026 at noon, I called the hotel and spoke with a lady who seemed to be the manager. I told her that I couldn’t drive to Banff from Kamloops because of the road closure on Trans-Canada Highway 1 and Highway 93 due to the bad weather—heavy snow, a force majeure situation, Mother Nature herself! That lady didn’t want to cancel my reservation and give me a full refund. I asked her which road I should take, but she couldn’t answer. I had to take alternate roads to Jasper, Hinton, Evansvurg, Drayton Valley, Rocky Mountain House, Sundre, Cochrane, and finally arrived at the hotel around 2 a.m. That lady really should have not been working at the hotel.

The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. Wasn’t happy about the Spa as the sauna was not hot enough and the dial to increase the temperature didn’t work. The whirlpool was a nice temperature. The restaurant at the hotel was giving smaller portions but charging high prices. I ordered a large salad for dinner and got something comparable to a small salad. The waiter was impatient as he wanted to run over with the payment machine as soon as I had finished my salad and tea.

Overall, my stay was very satisfying. From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly kind and consistently provided attentive service, which left a strong impression on me. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, allowing me to fully recover from my travels. The bathroom facilities were also well-maintained, which I appreciated. The location was excellent, with restaurants and shops nearby, making it very convenient for sightseeing and dining. Access to public transportation was also good, which made getting around a breeze. The hotel itself had a quiet and calm atmosphere, allowing me to rest peacefully at night. This is a hotel I would definitely like to use again if I have the opportunity. Pros: Extremely good location. They have an attached restaurant and cafe right next to the hotel. Very clean facilities. Rooms spacious and has nice views of the town. Staff always very polite and helpful in giving recommendations and allowing us to use the telephone. Able to store bags there after checking out as well. Cons: no safe provided in the room Highly recommend staying here!
