Mercure Avignon TGV Hotel et Spa
"Best hotel ever! Clean and tidy rooms, convenient location, parking! Will be back here again on my next trip. Highly recommended for family trips!"
Hotel de Cambis, BW Premier Collection
"The hotel has an excellent location with convenient transportation, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, the soundproofing facing the street isn't great; there was noise from city cleaning vehicles around 4 or 5 AM. Also, the bath towels weren't changed daily during our three-night stay."
Best Western Plus le Lavarin
"Extremely satisfied! The hotel's public areas are beautiful, complete with a swimming pool and a garden. The hotel restaurant's food was also delicious. Definitely five stars!"
Kyriad Avignon - Palais des Papes
"Very clean, will equipped perfect room for a short stay. Excellent occasion for sightseeing and restaurants."
Hotel d'Angleterre
"It's worth the money. You won't lose money staying in this hotel at this price."
Hôtel Le Cloître Saint Louis
"It is close to Avignon Central Station. It seems that the hotel is in an old building, but it is very charming. I think it will be popular with women."

La Maison Grivolas Appartements et Maison d'hôtes
"Amazing long weekend at Maison Grivolas, a perfect base for a relaxing trip. Right in the heart of the old walled town of Avignon with everything in walking distance but still somehow an oasis of peace in the beautiful garden. The little swimming pool was a godsend in the hot weather too! We had the one-bed suite which was gorgeous - a double bed on a mezzanine and a double sofa bed, and its own kitchen. Everything was spotless and stylish. Even pool towels were provided, and there was wine available to buy at a very reasonable price in the room too! Our host was tremendous, and invited us to use the garden as our own which we eagerly did - bringing back a feast from the local market to picnic in the garden one day, and spending a lazy evening with a bottle of wine there another. Breakfasts were fabulous too, all procured fresh that morning and such a blissful treat to sit in the garden with it. We LOVED Avignon - old churches, courtyard cafes and winding old streets with almost no traffic, perfect for strolling around, browsing the shops, bit of a wander through the papal palace and old bridge and plenty of fantastic food and wine. We took a train from Marseille airport and walked to the guest house from Avignon Central station - not a problem if you have a backpack or wheely bag, took about 20 mins. Highly recommend Maison Grivolas as the most peaceful, welcoming and relaxing spot for a great holiday and I definitely hope to return! "
Logis Hotel la Ferme
"This is a lovely place to stay. Clean and comfortable with an owner and staff who are simply lovely and could not be more helpful. Situated on an island of the river just outside Avignon, the setting is calm and peaceful as well as beautiful - despite the odd mosquito or two :-). In the restaurant the food is great, a good choice of typically french cuisine, properly cooked and presented with a smile. A stay here is absolutely recommended if you are in Avignon for a night or two."
La Divine Comédie-Suites Deluxe
"It's hard to know what to say that hasn't already been said about this place. It is the perfect little refuge in the heart of Avignon. We stayed four nights and it could not have been more wonderful. Avignon is a great central location for many places in France, so just come here. I wish we had had more time to just relax in the gardens - they are so beautiful. Room amenities include espresso in the room and a small refrigerator/mini bar. They have a wonderful option for a cheese board or charcuterie board which we took advantage of for a light dinner one night. Breakfast is 8-10 am which is good to know if you have early plans. The TV is small but has an Apple TV with Netflix and other streaming sites. One note of caution though: Don't do what we did and have an out of town driver take you there. Either set up a taxi through the hotel or have your driver drop you off at 26 Rue Catherine. The instructions sent by the hotel to the driver were confusing and ended up in a debacle (no real fault of the hotel)."
La Maison de l'Olivier
"PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY I stayed at this property for two nights and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. First, I was given a room of a lower category than the one I had booked. To make matters worse, the room had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable to stay there. To my surprise, the room had a waterbed — something I was never informed about when booking. Sleeping on it caused severe back pain, and I eventually had to get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the floor, as it was impossible to rest properly. The view from the window was also completely different from what I booked: instead of the promised view, I had a wall right outside the window. Another important thing to note: this is not actually a hotel. It is more like an Airbnb-style family-run guesthouse, where a family owns two houses and rents out rooms. The level of service is not what you would expect from a hotel, which was very disappointing. While the family running the place is polite and friendly, any issues related to payments or disputes are handled very poorly. After we decided to leave earlier due to these problems, they refused to refund us for the three unused nights — almost €1,000 — and ignored all our follow-up emails and their responds on our calls were very rude. Later, I discovered that they resold my room for those nights, effectively charging two different guests for the same booking, which feels deeply unfair. There is also no formal reception and breakfast, and the property is located behind high gates on a very narrow street, making access inconvenient. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. While the owners are polite, the service, transparency, and fairness are far below hotel standards. Recommendation: If you decide to stay here, do not book for more than one night upfront. First, check the room, the bed type, the view, and the facilities before committing to a longer stay. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property."
Be Loft B&B Pool & Spa
"The location is very beautiful, the rooms with jacuzzi and spa are amazing. We were very well received. Breakfast was also top. The concept is great, this place is worth the tour, I strongly recommend it! Well located on Avignon, near the city centre."
Les Précieuses Suites & Spa I
hotelF1 Avignon Centre Courtine Gare TGV
"Reservation: top ☑️ Welcome: helpful and smiling, thank you ☑️ Room: equipped and clean ☑️ too bad for the noises we hear, coming from the other rooms... Breakfast: croissant, bread, coffee, juice, ... Top ☑️ Small but cute ☺️ Very suitable for one night. We will come back ☺️"
Régina Boutique Hotel
"Ideally located in the very heart of the city, just a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom featured a walk-in shower. Having a separate toilet was a big plus. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The only downside was the soundproofing."
Hôtel Mercure Avignon Centre Palais des Papes
"Great location in Avignon, easy access to old city centre and many great eateries around... would have preferred a higher floor room if available"
Ibis Avignon Centre Pont de l'Europe
"This ibis is on the edge of the city, and you can see the ancient city wall from the window, so it is very convenient to go in and out of the city, without having to shuttle through the crowded city. There is a parking space next to the hotel, free from 19:00 to 9:00. There is a very large supermarket nearby, the price is very cheap, and you can also refuel, the price of oil is also very cheap. You can also park your car there, but remember not to leave anything in the car. The clerk is very enthusiastic, very friendly, and explained very clearly. The hotel has Chinese brochures, and following Guide Yang to play around the surrounding towns is very efficient."
Hôtel du Palais des Papes
"This is a very good memory for us in A**weng! ! ! ! ! The location is very good, the staff service is really super intimate, we also like the whole town"
Hotel d'Europe
"It's close to all the famous attractions, and they offer valet parking. They even let us check in early, which was great since we arrived ahead of schedule. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited. Also, when we were eating, no one asked us if we wanted an omelet, but we overheard staff asking other guests how they'd like their eggs once we were nearly finished. It felt a little bit like we were treated differently."
Hôtel Central
"Nice hotel, but it is closed in the winter season at Hotel Central. I stayed réniga Hotel about 5 mins walk. This hotel is clean, best location, and a friendly hotel. Avignon is a small town and comfortable to stay in"
Mercure Pont d'Avignon Centre Hotel
"Forced to use the Palais des Papes parking lot: €20 for 24 hours. The hotel offers a 20% discount. I don't know Avignon; perhaps there are free parking spaces near the hotel. In any case, I think it's quite a walk to get there. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The condition of the "Privilege" room was questionable: mosquitoes were coming in through the vents, we didn't open the windows, and neither did they; it smelled musty. There were white marks on the coffee table and armchair, and we found a laxative on the floor. When we reported it, the room was cleaned twice, but the dust was simply moved under the furniture. The marks were still there, and we had to show them the laxative ourselves and take photos. The meal, for the price, was mediocre and lacked flavor. It wasn't bad, but at around €60 for two people, you expect a minimum level of quality. The croque monsieur was bland, spongy, and unseasoned. The dessert wasn't designed for room service since it contained ice cream... It's obvious we ate melted ice cream. I should point out that there's only room service; there's no restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast consisted mainly of frozen items and few fresh products. However, the homemade items were good. There was a lack of organization when it was busy; the poor staff were everywhere at once because there weren't enough of them for the number of guests at Sunday breakfast. Another drawback is that breakfast from 6:30 am to 10:00 am on a weekend is a bit much; other Mercure hotels I've stayed in serve breakfast later than that."
