Avignon Hotels with Bars

It's close to all the famous attractions, and they offer valet parking. They even let us check in early, which was great since we arrived ahead of schedule. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited. Also, when we were eating, no one asked us if we wanted an omelet, but we overheard staff asking other guests how they'd like their eggs once we were nearly finished. It felt a little bit like we were treated differently.

The environment is excellent, needless to say, and there's even a swimming pool. Sometimes in the evenings, the front desk lounge offers bread and drinks, which are incredibly delicious! The location is also very convenient, especially if you're driving!

This hotel is not recommended! First, although the location is close to the old city, but it is outside the old city. It takes ten minutes to walk into the old city. Second, the room is relatively simple and small... The Chinese need a hot water bottle, the mouthwash cup is only two paper cups... The refrigerator is not... Third, if you want to rent a car, the car rental company is at the TGV train station... 3 kilometers apart... Taxis here are more expensive than Paris... Fourth, the advantage is, clean! There is a big supermarket nearby...

Everything was pretty good. It's right next to the train station, and there's a bus stop downstairs (you can take the 707 to Van Gogh's asylum in Saint-Rémy). It's also quite close to attractions, making it very convenient to get around. However, why was I charged the city tax twice? The first time, after I paid, the money was deducted, but then they said the system hadn't received it and told me to check the next day if I needed to pay again. The next day, they still said they hadn't received it, so I paid a second time. I was inexplicably charged twice. Even though the city tax is only €1.76, it made me feel very uncomfortable, as if I was trying to avoid paying it. This is the first time I've ever been charged twice for a single person. Luckily, the room environment was good. I'd advise everyone to pay the city tax in cash and keep the receipt to avoid them saying they haven't received it again 😅

The hotel is on the main street from the railway station, about 5 minutes walk to it. The room has a kettle, tea, coffee, cream. There is no refrigerator or safe. The single room has a short closet, so you can't hang long things. I hung my trousers on a hanger and on the closet door. No elevator, for those who care. I didn't take breakfast. I'm happy with the hotel.

The hotel is located directly opposite the old town, making it very convenient for exploring. There's an underground car park with plenty of spaces, costing 14 Euros for 24 hours, and it felt very secure. We stayed in an executive room, but it was a bit small – actually the smallest room we've had on this European trip. A pleasant surprise was that they provided disposable slippers, which was the only time we encountered that in Europe. On each floor, near the elevator, there's a water dispenser with ice water, so the hotel doesn't provide bottled water in the rooms. There was air conditioning in the room, but it wasn't very effective; even on the lowest setting, it didn't cool much. What was a bit frustrating was that the cleaning lady, thinking we had it too low, adjusted the AC to 27 degrees Celsius on a low fan setting right in front of us. This was a bit ridiculous, especially since it was already 39 degrees outside – it was really hot! There aren't many restaurants, shops, or supermarkets around Novotel Avignon Centre itself. However, because it's so close to the old town, everything can be found there. In the old town, there are two large supermarkets, Carrefour and Monoprix. Monoprix is closed on Sundays, but Carrefour is open every day.

The room is simple and spacious for the Youth Hostel, the whole is clean, and the room is air-conditioned and will not be stuffy when sleeping. When you arrive, you have to make your own bed, and when you leave, you have to put the sheets, pillowcases and quilts in the concentration area. Breakfast is simple but it is very good to have breakfast cp value at this price. If there is a bed curtain or curtain, then you have to bring your own lock, a short stay for one night is a good choice, because the location is really convenient

Hotel is OK for one night stay. The room is a little small. There is a small swimming pool. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel connecting to the city of Avignon. The price is a bit high, but this is the Avignon Festival time so I can understand.

This hotel is very nice, with a separate yard, very quiet. Not far from the central station and the Palais des Papes, but also with a kitchen, you can eat it yourself. If you check in later than 7pm, the hotel will send you an email in the afternoon to inform you of the check-in method. It is very detailed. If the check-out time is earlier than the hotel front desk, please put the room card in the room and close the door. . The only bad thing is that there are no slippers. Take it with you. The hotel has its own car park, but it is estimated that it must be booked in advance, not much location.
