Guest UserBeautiful, poorly managed hotel with a very good location directly opposite the exit from the Pope's Palace. The old rooms and facilities are worth seeing and very stylish, our room had a great view. Our room was one of the nicest we have stayed in in Europe. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the price of the night. We spent two nights here, had to look for employees several times each evening to be able to place our orders in the bar and then had to deal with unfriendly and unmotivated employees. Cocktails were good, food in the bar - again for the price and hotel category - miserable. The rooms and old sofas in the bar are worth a visit, however. The selection at breakfast is just adequate if you can get past the chic presentation of the buffet, and the quality is not remarkable either. The breakfast room, however, is again impressive and atmospheric. The hotel is overrun with tourists from outside the area for the daily afternoon tea, so if you're lucky you can get a table as a hotel guest, but then on both days there was only a limited selection of the cake menu, as everything was already sold out and not just at a late hour. And here too you can wait forever for unfriendly service! The rooms were very well maintained, and the chambermaids were friendly and helpful. We wouldn't recommend staying more than one night here, but it's good for a visit to the Pope's Palace. Make sure you ask for the route map before you arrive, it's very helpful and absolutely necessary for the narrow one-way streets in the old town! But it makes getting there easy.

Guest UserAvignon is such a wonderful city, and what made it even more special was the people—everyone we met was so warm, kind, generous, and friendly. It is truly a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere.
To top it all off, the pizza place right downstairs at the hotel served the best Italian pizza we have ever had, and the burrata salad was absolutely incredible! Every single memory we made here is full of joy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

European classical style hotel, from garden to indoor carpet hanging paintings, bookshelves, ornaments Room bedding blanket curtains, to front desk bellman, both quality and taste. The restaurant recipe is handwritten on the day, very special, if you have a recipe electronic or printed reference picture will be more helpful to the guests, especially foreign diners. In short, it is highly recommended.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, especially for those traveling by car. There's a massive underground parking garage right below the hotel. Before entering the garage following your navigation, you'll see temporary parking spaces provided by the hotel on the right. You can drop off your luggage there first, otherwise, after parking, you'll have to drag your bags quite a distance and climb stairs. We hope our experience helps future guests.

Guest UserI initially thought this hotel would be noisy, seeing how close it was to the train tracks on the map. However, after checking in, it far exceeded my expectations. Here's why:
The room was clean, the bathroom was large, and the room itself was incredibly spacious with comfortable bedding. But most importantly, there are two key points:
1. It was very, very quiet.
2. It's incredibly close to the train station and the main bus terminal, about 300 meters away.
It's also very near the old town attractions, making getting around super convenient.
Plus: If you exit the hotel, turn left, then left again, and cross the railway overpass, you'll find a large supermarket.
This was the best hotel I booked during my trip to Southern France.

The air conditioner is better not to turn on in summer, and the air conditioner is hotter than outside.

Guest UserOverall satisfied!
Service: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. You can see that they are cleaned regularly. Thumbs up! There is a simple breakfast in the morning, bread and hot coffee, which is simple to fill your stomach.
Environment: Very convenient in the city center
Hygiene: Very good, but there is no trash can in the room, which is inconvenient. I made a trash bag myself
Facilities: The elevator was broken, which was uncomfortable, but everything else was good. The only drawback is that the elevator was broken. I had to carry my 29-inch oversized luggage up two floors to get to my room. If you need an elevator, this is not recommended. Everything else is perfect!

Hotel is OK for one night stay. The room is a little small. There is a small swimming pool. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel connecting to the city of Avignon. The price is a bit high, but this is the Avignon Festival time so I can understand.

Small room, which was probably dependent on the type of room booked, the description was so drastic but not to draw where practically only bed took the room and between bed and wall at the foot you just passed through. No cups or glasses in the room, the pipe water (no bottle of water for the guest) had to be taken directly from the hand! at the washing basin. The bathroom was clean and completely OK. But the wacky door to the room was unappetitely old-flecky. The lift was terribly old and you were afraid to stay sticked. The breakfast room was very nice, but when 2 more guests came to us, they had to set up new coffee for them because the cane was empty, which took, also the few plates of salami and cheese had almost eaten from us - the poor guests after us. The evening before we wanted to take dinner in this moodful room, which wasn't going, just in another restaurant room (also ok, but not so beautiful), but the next evening we saw guests at the big beautiful fireplace in the “breaking room” eat there.. I find that without explanation a bad service. in the early evening.
Because of the lift and lack of comfort in the room, I would book somewhere else at the next trip despite the location directly at the Pope Palace.
