"The staff was very attentive and took me the towel hair dryer after arriving at the hotel in heavy rain that day.
Hotel location should pay attention to a little, not very easy to find, if the taxi left should arrive soon
Private style is good, one to two people
Clean room, high quality supplies, satisfactory
Most drinks in the mini bar are free, except alcohol.
The staff is not very good at English and still strives to explain carefully and has a very good attitude
One berth and two meals are good, if the appetite is large, people may not be enough"
"The hotel is a Ibis/ Holiday Inn Express version of the Prince Hotel. It is no frills basic hotel with a great location. The breakfast is a simple chazuke dish with a drink.
Check-in timing is inflexible but you can leave your luggage and explore the area a bit, not sure if Prince Hotel loyalty members get any special treatment.
The room is basic and have everything you need with ensuite bathroom. The location is just a short walk from Atami Station and the Toyota Rental Car office. There is a car park but there are some restrictions over the timing etc."

"I came here for the fireworks festival. Many hotels were fully booked in early September. This one is quite old, but it looks like it is close to the beach, so I booked it. The room is quite big, about 40 square meters, with one bedroom and one living room, a balcony, and many styles of yukata, so I didn't have to rent one. The dinner was a surprise, kaiseki cuisine. But the biggest surprise was that the balcony of the room directly faced the fireworks, which was very shocking! I lived on the 6th floor, and later I found that it was really amazing to watch the fireworks in this hotel, because there are 9 rooms on the first floor, and 8 of them face the fireworks. If you live on a lower floor, you may have to go to the small park next to it to watch, but it is only a 3-minute walk away. I was worried about the traffic before coming here. In fact, go out of Atami Station and go to the bus stop No. 7 on the left, take I71, get off at marine spa atami station (the next stop of the water park), and walk 100 meters to get there."
"The hotel facilities and services are excellent, the indoor and public hot springs are superb, and the view of the sea and mountains is unbeatable. Afternoon tea drinks and snacks are free to eat, and soft drinks are available. The only drawback is that we were arranged a room on the second floor this time, and the view is slightly worse."

Great
GGuest UserA hotel that must be given 5 points. I booked the trip one day in advance, and all the famous hot spring hotels in Atami were sold out. I only booked this one, and it even gave me a free ticket to Fuua Spa. I was very surprised and liked it very much. And the pudding that has a long queue in Atami shopping street is also available. The room has a sea view terrace, which is very new, and the shower room is also large and comfortable. The buffet dinner, the hot dishes are average, and the desserts and sashimi sushi are very fresh
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is close to Atami Station and the shopping street, just a 5-minute walk away, and the location is very convenient. Stayed in a Japanese-style room with two meals for one night. The kaiseki dinner was very exquisite and the breakfast was also very good. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, we were very satisfied with this stay!
JJAmazing experience!
We got picked up at Atami Station in a free shuttle.
The Hotel is located on a cliff, with stunning views of both the ocean and the city.
The Hotel has a very interesting design, it looks kind of old fashioned but in a grand, fun way.
We stayed in a Japanese style room, was fine.
The 3 separate onsen baths were amazing. Great views, Sauna was good too.
Food was a buffet, but it was freshly made and high quality.
We were very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it
GGuest UserCheck-in was surprisingly smooth. The room was spacious and easy to use, but there were a few things I thought were a bit off: I probably won't return.
- Two of the eight lockers in the large communal bath were broken.
- There were only four washing areas, so you basically had to stand while taking a shower. There was a chair, but it was hard to use because the height was not right for the shower hook. There was no mirror in the washing booth.
- The water was too hot to stay in. People around me had the same reaction. The sound of the drainage was so loud that you couldn't hear the healing music.
- There was no alcohol in the vending machines. The free drinks in the lounge were removed at 10pm, so it was a pain if you forgot to buy some at the convenience store.
GGuest UserThe way the shuttle bus driver at the station handled the situation sounded and looked arrogant. ”There's only one attendant, so don't press me!” said the attendant. I know it can't be helped that there's only one, but I think there's a way to say it. So I didn't want to ride it, and took a taxi at my own expense. About 1500 yen.
When I arrived, there were not many receptionists, so I might have to wait a while, but I was able to get there right away. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the windows were large and very comfortable.
However, there were a lot of mosquitoes, and I was bitten a lot. When I called the front desk, the front desk and the room attendant didn't answer the internal line, so I called from my cell phone.
They told me to come and get some insecticide.
Overall, I got the impression that most of the staff were new.
I'm grateful that I was able to stay at such a cheap hotel, but it was disappointing that they were so rude. Of course, there were also nice staff, so it was even more disappointing.
PPeesaSpacious room with good facilities. The breakfast was great. I particularly liked the onsen, but a bit crowded. And yes hot water is really hot!!!
Great location at the very center and right next to the beach. Will definitely go back again.
GGuest UserIt was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities.
The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami!
I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.
CConstantin Maximilian+:
The service was really kind and let me check in even though the beds weren't made since I was way too early.
The location is really nice not too far away from the train station and close to the sea side promenade and beach.
Luggage store room under bed was quite spacious
They have an extra room with a small billard table
-:
only one shower and toilet for men (same for women), so you had to wait sometimes, the most in the morning before check out.
Entrance is hard to find in a dark small alley in the corner of a street.
YyuhutianThe B&B is on a mountain, quite far away from the seaside. Because it’s up the mountain, it’s quite tiring to go up there. The sanitation and facilities of the B&B are quite satisfactory and quite acceptable. It will be a little more expensive when there is a fireworks display. Although the rule of the B&B is that you cannot smoke anywhere in the B&B, some guests still smoke in the room unconsciously. Because it is a wooden house, the smell of smoke will spread everywhere. When I finally checked out, because there had just been an earthquake in the morning, I couldn't go past the 10 o'clock check-out time for even one minute. I couldn't even sit in the living room for a while and drink some water before leaving. The attitude of the service staff (Chinese) seemed a bit like they were rushing. The way people walked was very unpleasant. I have stayed in so many Japanese hotels and B&Bs and I have never experienced anything like this.
