"Pros: 24-hour front desk service, about a 15-20 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. Breakfast is served on the lowest floor with a good variety of food. Cons: The instructions given by the hotel front desk were unclear; they told us we couldn't enter the Taj Mahal after 5:30 PM, but we found out entry was actually permitted until 6:15 PM. The hotel is located on the basement level, so there's no natural light. There were flies in the restaurant, which made it feel unsanitary. Summary: Overall, it was just average. "Premium Room, twin beds – the space was just right. If you book on the day and there's availability, it can be cheaper (includes breakfast). Even though the hotel is a bit older, the service and cleanliness were excellent. Room service was also fast. It would be perfect if the beds weren't so soft! The hotel also offers other activities like a swimming pool, pottery making, and a Taj Mahal storytelling session, which was fantastic! It's about a 12-15 minute walk to the Taj Mahal, or you can take the shuttle bus if you prefer a shorter stroll."

"While our overall stay at the hotel had its bright spots, our experience was heavily overshadowed by the unacceptable behavior and lack of professionalism from the female receptionist. We had planned a last-minute trip with our family, which was already stressful because my father was not feeling well. We needed to visit the Taj Mahal, but due to running late and struggling to find a vehicle, our trip took a maximum of about two hours. Despite us agreeing to pay any extra charges—and even paying an extra 1,000 as she demanded—the receptionist subjected us to unnecessary harassment: Constant Harassment: She repeatedly called us multiple times while we were trying to visit the monument and care for my elderly father. Unprofessional Arguments: She argued with us in the lobby right before we left. Lack of Empathy: She aggressively pressured us to check out immediately, completely ignoring my father’s visible age, vulnerability, and health issues. As a family, we prioritize our loved ones' comfort above everything else, especially during health difficulties. This receptionist clearly lacks the training, empathy, and basic customer service skills required to respect and treat guests properly. On a positive note, the rest of the hotel staff and the security team were very helpful and polite, and the hotel itself was good. However, management urgently needs to retrain the front desk staff on customer hospitality and respect."

"This was our second stay after 2022-23. This time stay was disappointing primarily due to poor service management. On arrival, no one assisted in picking up or carrying luggage to the room. After check-in, I called for drinking water, but despite repeated follow-ups, it took almost one hour for water to be delivered to the room. Most of the hotel staff appeared to be completely occupied with managing a marriage ceremony and a conference being held simultaneously at two different grounds within the property. While events are understandable, regular in-house guests should not be made to suffer due to poor prioritization and staffing. What makes the experience worse is the pricing. The room tariffs are higher than reputed five-star hotels like the Taj in Agra, but the service standards fall far short of even basic hospitality expectations. I would think twice before choosing this property again."

"I stayed for one night in the Chamber of Princess Suite, and I had an amazing experience. It was my boyfriend's birthday, so I spoke with Ms. Nandini at the front desk. She arranged a complimentary room decoration, which was absolutely beautiful. My boyfriend and I were truly delighted and felt so special. The room and the bathroom were both spotless and very well maintained. We also had access to the swimming pool, so we enjoyed our tea by the poolside, which made our stay even more relaxing. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Nandini ❤️for making our stay so memorable with her kindness and excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and I will certainly come back for another stay in the future.🫶"

"In total that was a great stay. Good: The bedroom and shower room are very spacious, there are several types of outfits are in the room which is useful, a good restaurant, an Ayurveda Spa experience, and very friendly staff who even speak a little bit of Japanese. They made me feel like this is a home. Bad: Sometimes poor wifi connection, but not that big issue"

Joseph and his family were very hospitable and welcoming - they treated us to a great breakfast on our first day and were ready to answer any questions we had about Agra and what to do. Our room was spacious and clean and nicely air conditioned. There were some issues with the hot water but Joseph was quick to come up with alternative solutions. Overall, we’d highly recommend this hostel to people visiting Agra. "
