"Clean and comfortable hotel in a wonderful location, a short and pleasant walk to many of the Adelaide centre's main sights including Rundle mall, the university, and the art gallery, and a short and quite direct ride by public transport to everything else including the airport and Glenelg beach. "It's a domestic four-star hotel. The foreign man at the front desk has very poor service! He didn't even give me water! I've never seen anything like this! Bath salts cost 10 Australian dollars, and there were no toothbrushes or cotton pads! Breakfast was a single order! There was a Malaysian girl at the front desk who was very nice."

"This hotel is located in the heart of Adelaide, South Australia's capital. While it's not a five-star, it's definitely a top-tier four-star. The location is excellent, with a McDonald's right across the street and major supermarkets like Coles nearby. It offers fantastic value for money, especially during holidays. There's also a gym and a swimming pool on the first floor of the hotel."

"It was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again."

Meriton Suites Waterloo, Sydney (High value for money) 10. Best Western Plus Travel Inn Hotel, Melbourne (Lower value for money) 11. The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne (Worst value for money) The Park Hyatt Melbourne stood out as having the best service among all 11 hotels. We arrived around 5:00 PM and were informed our room wasn't quite ready, requiring a 10-15 minute wait. Before I could even react, the front desk staff immediately offered complimentary breakfast for the next day as an apology, along with a voucher for two drinks at the lobby bar while we waited. Of course, we happily accepted! The hotel's location is a little outside the very center, situated behind Parliament House and right next to St. Patrick's Cathedral, which you can see from the rooms. Fitzroy Gardens, home to Cook's Cottage, is also within walking distance and worth a visit. I was very impressed with the hotel's amenities. The room even had a three-prong power outlet, a feature I didn't find in any other hotel. The 'old money' decor gave it a grounded and understated elegance. Breakfast was excellent and very extensive, with freshly made Western pastries that were incredibly delicious. I heard their flat white is even better than those from popular specialty coffee shops. The heated pool was long and narrow, feeling like it was definitely more than 25 meters. There's also a tennis court available for A$50 an hour, though you need to bring your own racket."

"Great hotel, pool wasn’t that warm when me and my partner stayed so it wasn’t that enjoyable. It was also quite small more of a lap pool than anything. Our fan above the shower was quite dusty they sent someone in the room to clean it when we left and they did. Claimed that the fans are cleaned weekly but I beg to differ. The room was quite small for the price as well our sink had to be closed almost the whole time because it stunk out the room so badly. Didn’t get that well or a view from our room either. Beds are comfy and feel good. Shower was great we didn’t have a bath in our room. Overall I wouldn’t spend that much for that room again cause it wasn’t that worth it"

"Lovely old hotel, beautiful upgraded rooms and shared bathroom. _BUT the experience is totally letdown by the reverberating pump of dance music which went till 1.0am Friday and 2.0am Saturday. Its sleep defying, which is a shame because the staff and food were all very good and you could hear the sea when finally it was quiet."

"Got a free room upgrade, and it was the biggest room I've had on this Australia trip. The location is great, right at the entrance to Chinatown, with tons of dining and shopping options nearby. The only downside is the parking. The hotel's paid parking lot is quite a distance away, so I had to park there and it was a hassle getting back and forth to the hotel. Valet parking also required a wait. There are some paid 3-hour parking spots on either side of the hotel that become free after 9:00 PM, but you have to get lucky to snag one."

"We extended our stay for another day and were very satisfied with the hotel's excellent service. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. As seniors, we truly appreciate all the young men and women who assisted us. A big thank you to everyone, and we will definitely stay at Pullman Hotel again next time."
