Hot Springs Hotels in Toyama Prefecture, Japan

The room I booked should be the largest room with the best view in the hotel. It is indeed very comfortable and the buffet is very rich. However, there are many people and you need to go according to the scheduled time when checking in. Fortunately, I went later than the scheduled time. There were too many people queuing up when I went early. Because I didn't make an appointment for breakfast, I had to queue up on site, which took longer. I didn't expect so many people to travel in the off-season. I guess it's because the cost-effectiveness is high. The buffet is worth half of the room price.

Small but very clean room, very easy access to public parking. Onsen bath is good considered the small size of hotel. Free noodle and ice popsicles are a plus - especially when you struggle to find a restaurant coming back late from Tateyama. Charge money for disposing excessive trash and room markup

The hotel is a bit old, but the room is very clean, breakfast and dinner are included, so you don't have to worry about food, accommodation and hot springs. It is a 20-minute drive from the Funakawa Kasuga Quartet. It's perfect to get up early to take pictures, come back to have breakfast, rest for a while, and then check out leisurely.

Beautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare. Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station) Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved. Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience! Overall a great stay! (Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)

This is our first rayon. General impressions are great!!! Very interesting experience. Staff very, very straight-a-friendly. Food is fresh seafood, rice, local soups. You can't say it is not delicious. Delicious. It's a lot of it, but after the third table like this, you want something with the pasta:)))) the room was cleaned every day. There is a transfer to the station. The view from the window is beautiful. In general a quiet place designed for resting with the soul and the body!!! Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location.

Very distinctive banquet dinner, experienced the traditional Japanese tatami room, the hot spring is also great to enjoy.

The staff are lovely and provide very good service. Lovely room
