Hot Springs Hotels in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan

This is a fantastic onsen hotel in the Kotohira area. It's quite large, with rooms featuring private baths, as well as separate large public baths for men and women. They also have four private reserved onsen baths, and I managed to try all of them whenever I had a chance. In the mornings, they offer free Yakult, and in the afternoons, free popsicles. The food was relatively standard, but the room was very clean and spacious. It's also conveniently located for walking to Konpira-san Shrine.

The hotel is in a very good location, right in the commercial pedestrian street. It is very close to Mitsukoshi Department Store, Don Quixote and everything else. There is a drugstore downstairs. Japanese hotels, except for the small rooms, have no other disadvantages. The hotel also offers free bathing. There is free breakfast, although the variety is very limited. There are also free wines to drink. I am quite satisfied with all aspects.

The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but the scenery is beautiful, the air is particularly good, the counter staff is friendly, the surrounding environment is beautiful, you can walk, parking is super convenient, the room is large

The hotel’s service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The scenery was breathtaking, offering stunning views that made every moment special. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, featuring delicious dishes that showcased local flavors. To top it off, they surprised us by preparing a famous local cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which was a delightful and thoughtful touch. Everything was perfectly arranged, and their attention to detail truly impressed us. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable experience.

We stayed in a type A room, overall stay satisfied 👍 Free service provided by the hotel → Shuttle bus, drinks, massage chairs, rooftop stargazing, The attitude of the waiters and drivers is very commendable 👍 The room's duvet and environment are very comfortable 👍 Rich breakfast and dinner 👍 Only at the end of the dinner, the white rice served, although delicious, but no dishes to match, make the overall pale. It would be perfect if it could be served with some wild vegetables at the same time. You can also add two more pieces of fruit. The staff of Olivean Shodoshima Yuhigaoka Hotel are professional and considerable. Their service are excellent, especially 1) The shuttle bus driver (morning shift strong man, forgot asking his name). When we arrived at Shodoshima Ferry Pier at 11:00am on April 7, we found a hotel shuttle bus, but not sure if it's the one of our staying hotel. We asked the driver if it's the one that waiting to pick us up. He said yes, but the hotel check-in time should be 3:00pm in the afternoon. He suggested us to have the sightseeing first and helped register the afternoon time for picking us instead. Also, he suggested taking our hand carry bags to the hotel front desk to avoid we carrying too heavy bags while travelling. 2) The lady staff (sorry for forgetting her name) at the lobby hall, who was very proactive. She came over immediately to help taking photos for us when she found we're taking a selfie. She also served us with free drinks for enjoying the sunset at the hall. 3) The staff at the reception desk are very professional. They helped us for check-in, explained the details of the time for meals, and provided all the information required. 4) The foods for dinner & breakfast buffet are very nice and yummy. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Overall, Olivean Shodoshima Yuhigaoka Hotel is a very professional and comfortable accommodation for stay. We're pleased and feel glad choosing this hotel.

This hot spring hotel in Kotohira is very well-equipped and has 6 free hot springs for tourists to soak in after shopping every day. It is so healing. Then you can have an all-you-can-eat dinner. The food is rich and exquisite, and breakfast is included. The styles are very rich.

We booked this hotel for island hopping in the Seto Inland Sea. It's a bit of a walk from Takamatsu Port, but we walked there and back. It was fine when we arrived in the evening, but the sun was really intense and hot when we checked out in the morning. It was quite expensive because it coincided with a holiday; usually, it would be under 1,000 yen, but the price doubled during this period. The hot spring bath was excellent, the late-night ramen was fantastic, and breakfast was good too. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I return to Takamatsu. Facilities: Has a hot spring, breakfast, and late-night ramen. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Near Central Park.

Great service in a large Japanese Tradional Onsen hotel. Minutes from the famous Kompira Shrine , room is spacious with great facilities, the outdoor Onsen is good but provide no views. Hotel has free car parking in an area some distance away, though shuttle are free.

This hotel had the best cosiness! The hotel offers a hot spring bath and a breakfast buffet. And for dinner, you can order a course meal for a fee. And colorful yukata are available for free. I ‘d like to stay again!!
