This is my second time staying Nagoya Crown Hotel. Best part of the hotel is that it is with Onsen.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! From the lobby and guest rooms to the views and facilities, the value for money is simply impeccable! Since I was traveling solo and had no language barriers, I used a combination of public transportation and hiking through farmland and up mountains. It was quite a journey, but the scenery along the way, especially the sudden appearance of the sea at the end, was incredibly refreshing! The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. For pick-up, you need to contact them in advance (I didn't have experience with this). For drop-off/drop-off, you just need to book the night before. Why bother with public transportation?

Good value with exceptional service We were extremely satisfied with the services and had a delightful experience in that hotel. Our package included room, breakfast and dinner. Due to a minor traffic incident, we were unable to meet our dinner time of 6:00 pm. We contacted the hotel and they kindly accommodated us and provided attentive service. We were deeply touched by their care and consideration. The assistance to report of the traffic incident to the local insurance company was unexpectedly smooth with the help of the staff. The language proficiency of the staff was impressive, as they efficiently resolved language-related issues we faced. Furthermore, the traditional charm of the hotel exceeded our expectations and added to our enjoyment - good value. We will recommend the hotel to others and look forward to visiting again in the future. Special thanks to Ms. Oromo Rie, Mr. Toyama, and the staff responsible for our meals.

Came here twice and overall one of the best hostel that I’ve stayed, with 2 different onsen that you can freely use. There are also drinks and food supplies in different time which is well appreciated.

Speaking of Dormy, the hot springs ♨️ were great! The hot springs and sauna were relaxing! The breakfast menu also had a variety of delicious local foods, and the hitsumabushi was amazing in the morning. The rooms were also very clean, and it was a place I would like to come back to again next time.

I feel like this is an underrated hotel. (But it may only be more convenient for those traveling by car. There seems to be no public transportation around.) This beach is amazing. You can walk 200 meters away and the water is only up to your knees. The water is clear and the waves are flat, which is very suitable for water wrestling [laughing] ] The hotel also thoughtfully prepares parasols and beach shoes for guests. It is only 50 meters away from the hotel to the beach [smile] The hot spring is a unique carbonate spring with salty water.

Located right next to the Ure River, with a nice view from the room. As it has only 5-6 rooms, it is pretty exclusive. You can use their 2 hotspring baths privately for 45mins each time, or you can take a short walk over to their 2 sister hotels for bigger hotspring baths. This is the only hotel in the Hazu Group that serves Medicinal Cuisine. As the hotel seems to be converted from a traditional old house, the stairways can be cramped and not suitable for bringing large suitcases, so just pack a small bag and leave the suitcase downstairs or in the car. Had a relaxing time there.

Hiranoya in Gamagori was really great! They upgraded our room because we had children! Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style! We added dinner the day before, so I assumed it wouldn't be a buffet, lol. I should have asked what the menu was, lol. The bath was also very comfortable, and we were able to relax even with our children. I highly recommend the cave bath (^^) ”Time Letter,” still at Atelier of Words, is an experience where you send a letter to your future self! It's a rare experience, and I'm looking forward to it reaching my future self just when I've forgotten about it!! The staff were also very kind, and it was an inn I'd love to return to. Thank you so much!

My stay at the Ryugu Hotel was truly wonderful! First, the hotel's location is exceptional. The open-air hot spring offers breathtaking views of the ocean, from the morning glow to the evening sunset. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the ocean is truly an extraordinary experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a modern Japanese décor that evoked a sense of tranquility and relaxation. With the ocean view just outside the window, staying in the room felt like being in paradise, leaving you wanting to leave. Dinner was a traditional kaiseki ryori, each dish meticulously crafted with abundant local ingredients. It was both delicious and visually pleasing. The sashimi and grilled items were particularly impressive and satisfying. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and from check-in to check-out, their attentive service was truly heartwarming. Their attentive hospitality was truly touching. This is a hot spring hotel I'll definitely return to, and I highly recommend it to friends and family!

The building is old but cleaned well. The slippers in the room were old and dirty. I wanted you to prepare disposable slippers. I was worried about the middle of the night in a little far gravel with few parking lots.

Aapril408We really love this hotel. Location is great as it is next to a garden and historical tea house. It's a short walk to Inuyama Castle and we do have the castle as our lovely breakfast view. The room is big and comes with a balcony with a nice view of the surrounding area. There is also an onsen at the hotel with indoor and outdoor baths! Hotel is also a short, scenic walk from the train station. I would love to come back again!

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience. A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.

GGuest UserThe room is still a bit small for traveling with children, and the big suitcase can hardly be opened, but it is still OK for traveling alone. Advantages: The front desk is very friendly, free breakfast until 8:30 (9:00 on weekends), free coffee, and male and female baths from 3:00 pm to 9:00 am. This price should be unbeatable in Japan. It is opposite the Shinkansen but not noisy at all, and the double-glazed windows are unbeatable. The room is very dark with the curtains drawn. People who are afraid of light can sleep well. Disadvantages: Breakfast at 8:30 is only suitable for business people, and it is really hard to get up. Checking out at 10 o'clock is also very frustrating, but you can pay 1,000 yen to delay it to 11 o'clock or 2,000 yen to delay it to 12 o'clock. In general, this location is still very suitable, but I probably won't stay here again if I travel with children. I will book two rooms for myself or my parents.

MMomocoLOStayed for 2 nights. Good service. Onsen is good.  Breakfast ok. Dinner very good. Room is tidy and clean. The mattress and pillows are really very good.  Location is close to the airport  (30 mins approx) and Suzuka (around an hour). There is a supermarket just next to the hotel. And lots of other restaurants or drug stores or convenience stores nearby.; just takes 2-5 minutes drive.  If Route Inn can add the GPS (phone #) on the website that’s much easier for tourists. We drove from Toyota Museum and it should take about 30mins but just because we didn’t have the correct phone # to set the GPS on the car and the worst is the Google didn’t work well in Nagoya Ciry and finally we took 2 hours to get there!

Aajm0817Our family of 5 booked the room with an open air bath this January 2025. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The bath was warm and nice despite the windy and cold weather. The room/s were beautiful, the view of Ise Bay (especially at sunset) was spectacular, and the food was great, especially the dinner. The staff were really accommodating and nice, they even helped us book a taxi to the airport after we checked out. For those traveling to Shuku Kaifuu by public transportation, I recommend giving them a call before checking in so they could arrange a pick up service from Utsumi (train) station.

GGuest UserThe location is not close to JR Nagoya Station, but you can get to the hotel within 10 minutes. There is a skewers shop and K-room nearby the hotel. There is also a restaurant open until 5am, which makes it quite lively at night. The service is very good and the staff are very polite. But the room is very small, but the hot spring area is clean. The breakfast is very ordinary, but it has eel rice. For breakfast, we recommend going to Minimall Exit 11. Hoshino Coffee Shop has a unique breakfast in Nagoya. The hotel seems to have a free bartending bar from 5 to 8 in the afternoon, which is really fun.
