There is no Wi-fi in this hotel for customers! We were 4 nights over there and were never able to use it, cause it’ s not working at all in a Room, at balcony or outside in the garden or pool areas. Don’t trust that it’ s there for you to use at your Stay. Overall the hotel is nice. There is sauna and hot tub in the garden and also a swimming pool to enjoy. Outside kitchen area provides a barbecue setting to use if you want and also needed tablewear and place to wash your dishes. Nicely set up. This hotel is small. Only few Rooms (10?) and in two floors. Most of them in the first floor. Balcony’s are separated with plants so you’d feel a little more like it’ s your own space. You can get a welcoming set of coffee pods, a few cold drinks and couple of tea bags, but if you are staying a bit longer than one night, a visit to a supermarket is maybe a good idea. The fridge is small size. You can hear the traffic and Bar noise from near by streets when sitting in outside areas, but Rooms are quite silenced. We did sleep well. If you don’t need to be in contact by Wi- Fi, You will relax nicely. There is a lot of steps to move around and no lifts. That is good to know if steps are impossible for you. For Us it didn’t make any difference. Good location. Easy to park nearby (it is free) or come by buses. In a walking distance there is restaurants, shops and nice place just to walk around in the hills of Pueblo.
Aire Hotel & Ancient Baths

I cannot understand the bad reviews. We had an excellent experience here. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The location is very good at the city centre and close to the attractions. We had chosen a spa package, which is highly recommendable and included chocolates and prosecco. The spa experience was amazing, which we have also reviewed separately in more detail. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. When we arrived early at 12, they let ut stay on the rooftop pool all day until our room was ready. Great customer service! And when I forgot my Spanish abanico at the hotel, they found it for me, and kept it for a week until I returned to pick it up. A special thank you for your help and honesty! Breakfast was good and the views were stunning from the rooftop to the Alcazaba. Very luxurious. They even opened the breakfast serving 15 minutes earlier than usual, so we had the chance to enjoy the breakfast and still catch our early morning bus. Just a perfect stay here.

Marbella City Center
Fabulous hotel in a great location. Downside was the poolside music and afternoon DJs who had the same boom boom music on a loop - all day! One exception was the DJ who was accompanied by a musician playing an electric guitar. He was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I doubt the people responsible for the choice looked at the demographic of their clientele. Having stayed at both hotels this year (Ibiza & Marbella) I accept the younger residents in Ibiza would enjoy this genre of music but it now the crowd in Marbella. It certainly is SO repetitive that after 5 days I wanted to scream 'turn it off!' Apart from that we had a fabulous time!!

Sevi is so beautiful, and this hotel is especially beautiful. Having stayed in so many hotels, this is the most impressive one. It is surrounded by pavilions and fountains, and there is a large bathtub in the room. It is elegant and simple but not old, and the experience is great.
Anantara Villa Padierna

About The Anantara Villa Padierna I cannot thank the team at the Anantara Villa Padierna enough for what they did for our daughter Tasha's wedding the weekend of November 28-30th, 2024. They worked closely with our family for the entire year - getting involved in the nitty gritty details by ensuring we had the best vendors, best pricing, best service and above all else sincerest warmth from the senior management - specially Patricia Morales. Patricia is a gem you have who gives of her time, talent and genuine warmth to ensure no stone was left unturned to make Tasha's wedding a magical experience. She had my back at every turn even after we checked out post wedding celebrations. Patricia epitomizes an unusual combination of leadership, dignity and humility. She represents all that your brand represents - that the customer must be made happy and welcomed. The front desk staff- specially Tony who is a doll were incredible to all our guests. They worked tirelessly with us to welcome our guests and help them throughout their stay. With regards to the F & B managers - from the senior most manager running La Loggia and Veranda - the food and service was impeccable. The staff at La Loggia - specially Yolanda remembered what each guest liked to be served for breakfast and made sure they had the freshest fruits, cheeses, cold cuts etc. The best part is that all the service staff are basically happy people - you can tell they are well taken care of as they greet you at each turn with genuine warmth. The food is outstanding - freshest ingredients, excellent service and exquisite presentation - when lamb chops, sea food, paellas, grilled vegetables are served tender at dinner for a 170 guests - that says it all!! I didn't get to see the GM much nor was there much interaction by him - but his associates were great. We loved our stay so much that we plan to get together there every other year to enjoy the hospitality. I hope senior management ensures that the hotel maintains its standard of care and amenities so that Marbella and the Anantara group retains a gem.

Centro
I’m sorry to deduct stars for this hotel as there is much about it to enjoy and we did. The concierge was very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and it’s a great location for the city but ……. 1. Having a roof top bar is an asset. We were encouraged by the reception staff to visit it as it has stunning views. I asked if you had to book and was told no, open from 7. It does have stunning views as we discovered when we went up there but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday! Why? It’s peak tourist season and we were encouraged to go up there ! Very disappointing. 2. The breakfast buffet was good but there was only one person clearing and laying tables and making sure supplies were replenished. There were queues for bread, juice , bacon and eggs. It was 9am. Shame as it’s a great location .

Triana
We arrived during a rain storm and could not access the parking space in front of the hotel as there were two busses and a police van occupying the space. We later learned that the busses belonged to an Italian soccer team that was staying at the hotel and that was given priority over all other, less important, guests. Since we could not stop in front of the hotel and had no idea where to go, we were forced to drive around the block in heavy rain and traffic. We eventually found our way to the enormous underground parking garage, which serves as the parking garage for a mall, offices, conference center and the hotel. The garage was poorly marked and we could not find the the right elevator/exit for the hotel. After exiting at the wrong place and getting soaked from the rain, we eventually found the entrance to the hotel, which was on the opposite side. A porter was sent to accompany us back to the parking garage to show us the way. The porter told us that this is an everyday occurrence when guests get lost in the parking garage or take the wrong elevators due to poor signage. When we expressed our grievances to the reception staff, they argued and told us that there were signs. Later that night, we called the reception desk asking for two wine glasses and a cork screw since there were none in the room. The receptionist informed us that it will be an extra charge to bring wine glasses and a cork screw to our room, but that we could get them from the restaurant on the 35th floor if we went to pick them up. My husband asked whether he had to bring the bottle to the restaurant to open and the receptionist said that was not necessary. When my husband went up to the restaurant and asked for the cork screw, they told him they could not give it to him as it was very expensive and they needed it. As a result, my husband had to return to the room and bring the wine bottle to the restaurant. Prior to our arrival, my husband sent an email to the hotel requesting certain information, but did not receive a response. When we asked the reception staff why there was no response to our email, they told us that we sent it to an email box that does not go to them. The next day it became clear to us that they had full access to the mail box since they asked us if we were still interested in the booking we requested in our email. In addition to the poor service, the room decor and furniture looked cheap and the shower and WC were very small. Although we booked the hotel for two nights, we decided to leave the next day. Upon departure, we called for help with our luggage, but there was no answer so we did not get any help. This is the worst five star hotel experience we ever had and the first and last time we will ever stay at a Eurostar hotel.

The hotel is just opposite to the cathedral. You can walk to palace church bullring and the city parasol. It is convenient to have meals around the hotel. The hotel has a strong smell of decoration, and it is noisy at night.
Hotel El Tajo & Spa

The room is not big, but it is adequate, with complete facilities, safe, good breakfast, freshly squeezed juice, the disadvantage is that the soundproofing is poor. The location of the hotel is good. When you go out and turn right for 20 meters, you will see the pedestrian street of the old city, various restaurants and bars, and you will be in Xinqiao within a few minutes. There is a supermarket at the door with a complete range of daily necessities and food. A liter of red wine is as low as 0.99 Euro, and a liter of juice is as low as 0.6 Euro. If you drive by car, parking is inconvenient. We were lucky, and there happened to be on the side of the road not far away, so we stopped.
DoubleTree by Hilton Islantilla Beach Golf Resort

We had a 7 day vacation at the golf resort. We were recognised as gold member and received an upgrade to a ‘villa’. It was nice for the four of us my daughter and boyfriend stayed in the main building. In the villa there was no storage in the bedroom and a bathtub on the second floor with a shower, I would update this to a walk in shower there is plenty of space. Breakfast, dinner and 5 rounds of golf were in our package which was great. A bit more different themes during the week for diner are welcome but overall good. You can rent a buggy for 5 days with a package price of €160. We played padel 5 times which was a nice addition activity. Renting a court and rackets is €27,00 for 90 minutes. The golf course is challenging and with 27 holes has a lot of variety. Greens are really well maintained. There is a little train to the beach club that is a nice activity for a day or two. Plenty of fresh fish restaurants.
