The hotel room is comfortable, but the reality is a bit different from the videos and pictures in the app. The hot spring pool was not working, the breakfast place is freezing cold, what makes the food to be cold minutes after we put in our plate. It has a good variety of food for breakfast anyway. The floor heating in the room was the best part. Also the receptionist was very helpful when I need something, we were communicating by WeChat. Another good point is that the hotel has a restaurant, so you don’t need to go out to find food. I used the transfer service to go to the scenic spot, It was also good.

Great location, right in the thick of the bustling main street with other hotels and restaurants all around. A 10-15min stroll to Jiuzhaigou Park makes this a very convenient place to stay at as well. The room was spacious, although it would have benefitted from more clothes racks/hooks. Also, I felt the room was 'too smart' - everytime i went back into the room the curtains will automatically open which I personally found annoying but could not find a way to disable it. The heating and bidet in my room also wasn't working, but those were tolerable and we decided to just let it be. There was also a very intense hotpot smell wafting all through the air in the hotel which we did not like. Rooms were also not too clean with remnant hair and dirt stuck in crevices around the room. But otherwise, it was a decent place to stay at.

Not too bad location. About 15 mins walk to kuan zai street. Quite a bit of walking distance to mrt. 50+ km to tianfu airport. Taking didi to airport from hotel will get u some drivers requesting more than the amount indicated, eg rmb 200 for trip to airport. However, hotel room size is good. Toilet is good. I love the hotel. Breakfast is also quite good. Never tried the free afternoon food, but I believe it is good too because the hotel experience is good.service is also on point. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I will very likely stay here again the next time I'm here in chengdu

Perfect place to stay at Bipenggou. 5 minutes walk to Bipenggou gate, ypu can leave your luggage at the hotel, very convenience. Plenty of restaurants surrounded. The room is spacious and clean. Service is super, all 3 reception are very professional. They coordinate The young lady even assist us to book bus tickets pick up from the hotel to Dujiangyan, and all of them kept checking with the driver after 3 hours late until the arrived. What a pleasant stay.

The entrance to this place is a little hard to find a quite dodgy, however the hotel itself is very clean and modern. The room is spacious and clean, it is also very well equipped with modern facilities. The modern Japanese toilets with a really well kitted out shower was amazing. They also had the best quality in-room slippers I've ever seen. Bed was wide and spacious. The location was central and there were a lot of local snacks around. Service was also good.

Booked for the hot springs which were great, very spacious and relaxing environment. Small indoor swimming pool but also a nice temperature for a relaxing swim. Good choice for buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel does not cater for solo travellers eating dinner because food can only be ordered in large portions via an app catering for two or more people. Also a shame there is a robot and no human interaction if you want a coffee. The people working there are very friendly and helpful, robots are not! Easy access on foot to Exiu Lake and a short distance further to the mountain entrance.

It's a very nice hotel with very good service. The food in their restaurant is very good too! One thing though - my husband and I booked the room with the private bath, and it's great, but the screen is very see through. So if you turn on the lights at night, you'll be a public show! We just soaked in the dark...

We booked the room with the hot spring tub and it was spacious and comfortable! Hotel staff were extremely helpful - from handling our luggages (two huge ones), providing food recommendations and early check out request due to our day trip out of Chengdu! They also provided snacks for us to bring for our day trip to the mountains. We felt really welcome from day 1 of our stay till the end. Saw some reviews about room cleanliness and noises from outside due to thin walls, I mean…it’s an old courtyard converted into a hotel, so do expect some aspect of heritage left behind as part of the vibe! It’s a great escape from the bustling city, forces you to be quiet and zen. Come experience it yourself.

Stayed for three nights. The room was very comfortable and the environment was very good. You can see the lake view when you open the window. It was super beautiful. The breakfast was rich. I brought my kids to ski. It only took 6 minutes to walk directly from the hotel to the ski resort. The location was very advantageous. The room I booked included the primary ski ticket and hot spring bathing. It was super comfortable to take a hot spring bath after skiing. The room manager Xiaoxiao was very nice and reminded me of the weather and accommodation matters every time. I will come to Shiboge again when I come to Sunac skiing next time. 2 tickets for Chengdu Hot Snow Miracle primary skiing 3 hours: Single experience of Qingcheng Hot Spring Pool for two people

This hotel was awesome! So clean, so convenient, the room was a really good size, the hot tub in the room definitely added to the premium experience. Breakfast was great! The service staff from breakfast are specially nice. They were super helpful when we were asking questions and even though they didn’t fully speak english they understood our coffee and noodles order. Definitely recommend! Also so close to the shuttle to the Front of the mountain and the buses to the back of the mountain! We really recommend you go to the back of the mountain, take the cable car up, then make your way down the trails, it is about a 4 hour hike, very worth it and it is not easy but not suuuper hard. People recommend you go up first and take the cablecar down but I think that’s a bad idea. Also, don’t skip the Temple in Tai’an Ancient City, and have a good meal at the restaurant across the street called Tingchan Restaurant. Also if you have time go on a little walk towards the left once you exit the hotel and enjoy the park!

This stay was a very pleasant experience! The hotel's service was impeccable. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was very enthusiastic and professional. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable beds, which allowed me to get a good rest during my trip. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted great. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. There are many restaurants and attractions around, which makes travel very convenient. In short, I was very satisfied with this stay and will definitely come again next time!

19 - 22 July 2024 My family checked into InterContinental Hotel at the New Century Global Center, Chengdu on 19 July 2024. This was exactly the time of the microsoft global outage affecting computer networks and systems, but we were well received at check-in by Mr. Sean who, despite the system difficulties, managed to ensure a smooth check-in experience. Due to the global outage, another individual - Mr. Sunday Wang - awaited us at our designated block’s elevator as he had to personally open our room using his employee assigned room card. To compensate for the inconvenience, welcoming fruits and bakery snacks were delivered to the room much to the delight of our 2 kids. As always, rooms were well kept and fresh. One particular individual my kids look forward to seeing everytime is Ms. Sunny. Sunny ensured we had a fine dining experience everytime we ordered room service or went to the restaurant for breakfast. Those extra ice-creams and fruits surely made our kids happy in addition to her spending time out of her busy schedule to play with our kids. In addition to Sunny’s generosity, she made sure our last day/night of stay was upgraded to those nice and spacious family rooms on the ground floor…very beautiful rooms. So grateful and thankful for all the wonderful service at InterContinental Hotel giving my family everlasting fond memories. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone keen on making great memories and experience professional and friendly customer service.

It’s located in a very convenient location that close to the show’s theater, I mean walkable. And many restaurants are around it, no worries about dining or drinking. The hotel is also quiet cleaning as much as meets a Japanese’ expectations. The staffs are super friendly, feel free to ask them any of assistance if you needed. I really enjoyed the breakfast. We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff was really helpful and the room facility and the view is perfect with mountain. Especially the staff name called Zhang sitong can speak english very well and help us alots for car booking and necessary translation. 🤩 Thank you 🤩

The room hardware and other room services are generally OK, but they are very unfriendly to tourists from other provinces who travel by public transportation. The hotel does not provide any pick-up and drop-off services, not even paid pick-up and drop-off services. It happened to be the Spring Festival when we checked in, and no one took the Didi order, and there were no local yellow cars. I asked the hotel front desk for two consecutive days if they could help find a car to provide a solution, and the answer was ”no way”. Well, on the first morning, I walked for 25 minutes to the entrance of Bipenggou. I was so tired after playing in the evening, so I continued to walk back. I happened to come across a hot pot restaurant on the side of the road, so I had dinner first. After eating, the owner of the hot pot restaurant heard that we didn't have a car, so she drove us back to the hotel. A hot pot restaurant is like this, why doesn't your hotel have a car to send us down. On the third day, we returned to Chengdu by public transportation. We called the bus driver again to explain the reason, and told him that we had suitcases and large backpacks, and it was really inconvenient to go to the Bipenggou parking lot. The driver expressed understanding and came to pick us up again. There is no pick-up and drop-off service, which is wrong, and the experience is too bad.

When I went there, the parking lot was still under construction, so the car was basically enough. If it is the peak season, there should be parking problems. For self-driving and family travel, the hotel should be the best choice for Jiuzhaigou. Although it is at a disadvantage in terms of distance and convenience compared to the hotels at the entrance of the valley, as a traditional luxury brand, it is quite guaranteed in terms of hardware, products and service levels, and can provide extra surprises. After playing tired, come back to soak in the authentic hot spring, especially to relieve fatigue! The signal of the B&B 📶 is not very good, but everything else is very satisfactory! The housekeeper will contact in advance to release the scenic spot guide and inform the check-in instructions. This can be pre-prompted and then confirmed. Because we are staying in the scenic area, we need to enter the scenic area before 1 pm. We temporarily change the high-speed rail 🚄 Fortunately, there are tickets 🤭 If you are not physically fit and the altitude is high, you can stay in the scenic area for two days, so you can have fun for two days, and there is plenty of time, no need to rush around! It is a homestay run by a family, and they do everything themselves. The decoration is very good and new (put into operation in July 24). The boss said that he invited a designer from Chengdu to design it. There is floor heating and a large bathing pool, which relieved our fatigue from the journey. The lighting design is also very good and reasonable, and there is a smart toilet, and the shower room can accommodate two people at the same time. The bedding is very comfortable, the linens are also very clean, and I fell asleep quickly. The service is also very good, basically responding to every request. It can be seen that the store is very ambitious and attentive. It is about 30-40 minutes drive from Jiuzhaigou scenic spot. The store will contact the vehicle, which is also very convenient. The room is not big. It was already night when we drove to Jiuzhaigou. Two hotel staff were waiting. It might be late, and there was no service. I went back to rest at 4 pm the next day. It happened that the hotel was checking the room. I rang the doorbell twice and swiped the card to enter directly. It was useless to lock the door from the inside. It was very embarrassing. My boyfriend and I lay down. I asked the staff why they didn't knock on the door. She said she knocked, but she didn't hear it. And it took less than 30 seconds to enter before and after ringing the doorbell. This experience was not good. The facilities in the room, the water in the shower room was very small, and the hot water was slow at night, but it was okay during the day. The hotel is next to the Aegean Sea. To be honest, there was nothing fun in November. The breakfast was also relatively simple, with few varieties. The only thing worth praising is that the hygiene is okay, and the cleaning aunt is serious and responsible in her work.

Although the hotel is located in a remote area, it has a high-speed rail station pick-up service and a scenic spot pick-up service. You can eat at the hotel restaurant and two small restaurants nearby. There is a Love Sea scenic spot nearby where you can go for a stroll if you have time. We stayed for two nights. There were many tour groups. If the breakfast time was early, there would be a large number of people. There were many varieties, but the taste was average. The single-family room was large, the sound insulation was average, the surrounding air was fresh, and the temperature difference between morning and evening was large. I didn't feel like going to the hot springs when I passed by. PS: Booking in advance without price increase is more cost-effective.
