I was incredibly satisfied with my stay! šŸ˜šŸ˜ The hotel staff were all very friendly, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. šŸ‘šŸ‘ The room was spacious and beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. A pleasant surprise was the free upgrade to a room with a terrace – absolutely delighted! 🤩🤩 When I booked, only one person had breakfast included, but the hotel thoughtfully provided a complimentary second breakfast, for which I'm truly grateful. ā˜ŗļøā˜ŗļø The hotel's location is also excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. What touched me most was receiving a small gift upon check-out: a beautiful, exquisite embroidered fan – I absolutely love it! šŸ˜šŸ˜ The entire experience was warm and unforgettable, and I will definitely be back! šŸ˜„šŸ˜„

This hot springs resort on the far side of Suzhou from Shanghai depicts itself honestly in the photos...and they were very kid friendly. My children had a great time in the various pools and the restaurant/lobby staff were very accommodating. I have already recommended this place to two friends with small children. The hot springs aren't open until the afternoon though, so you won't get a dip in the morning before you check out. I'd recommend getting to the hotel close to check-in time or a little before to maximize time enjoying the pools. The breakfast was big, but mostly Chinese dishes. The area around the hotel has an eco village but it is mostly vendors and roads with cars and bikes flying past...a safety concern when traveling with kids. We didn't get a great feeling of nature here, although we did find one pathway up the nearby mountain which was fun.

Best location if you wanted to visit Slender Lake as the entrance is just across the road. There are restaurants to the left of the resort as well if opting to dine out. The resort is quite big, with separate buildings housing different types of rooms. Well catered for families with kids. We got the room with a hot spring inside so we didn’t visit the public one.

I haven't been to Yangzhou for many years. Recently, I have a room package at the secluded hotel, which is quite affordable. The hotel activities are also quite good. My dad and I had a great time and rested well. The hotel's breakfast variety is quite rich, and there are cute cats to eat and drink with, hahahaha. The hotel's service response was very fast the day before yesterday. In short, it's not bad. The hotel's Hanfu photography is also very good. The sincere evaluation is not a trust. The expression and eyes captured by the brother are very good. It's not the kind of photography that forces me to pose. It leaves a beautiful picture casually and inadvertently.

I strongly recommend this hotel to all friends who are going to Yangzhou for tourism - Slender West Lake Songcheng Resort Hotel. It is the best hotel I have stayed in so far. First of all, the hotel is very cost-effective, including tickets to Slender West Lake, hot spring tickets and morning tea in Fun Garden. Secondly, the service is great. Every staff member is warm, considerate and meticulous. I would like to especially thank the duty manager Mr. Ma Jun. My mother has Alzheimer's disease and ran out of the hotel by herself at night. After I asked the front desk for help, Manager Ma who was on duty that day immediately checked the video and then rode a bicycle in the direction where my mother went for nearly an hour. Finally, I found my mother at the west gate of Songjiacheng. Our whole family is extremely grateful and warm. As a fellow villager who goes back to Yangzhou to visit relatives and friends every year, I feel honored and proud that my hometown has such a perfect hotel!

The overall environment is good. There is Qinhuai River below. It is also very close to Confucius Temple on foot. The hotel also has hot springs and a teahouse by the river. The artistic conception is very good. The hotel parking space is a little tight, but everything else is good. It is also quite close to the subway station. If you go to Nanjing, this place is still OK

This is a homestay that exceeded my expectations. Our classmates had three weekend gatherings, all of which were good experiences. The boss and the proprietress are Shanghainese, and they operate this self-retentioned place with their heart! The boss used to study in Germany, and in Germany, both Chinese and Western food have dabbled. Here we booked a dinner, not the direction of the farmhouse, but a more exquisite blend of Chinese food taste! For example, beef stew radish stew, the taste is relatively Cantonese but there is also a balance of Shanghai's exquisite taste. According to the boss's outlook, next time you should go to his house to try German sausage and sauerkraut pork elbow. Seeing that he is confident, he is more expected! Meet next time his family officially prepares a meal, come to experience the food! His house has a swimming pool, billiard room, table tennis, mahjong room (there are two tables, it is recommended that the two seats are better to separate the two rooms, do not interfere with each other), and there is a k song room (the sound and core are general, eat and drink enough to sing and sing). The clean and detailed design of the room is full of care. It is said that next year, on the glass roof of the existing first floor, a large aquarium will be built on it. Drinking coffee beer below, you can see the fish swimming on the top. It should be full of enjoyment! It is about 20 kilometers away from the sunrise beach. It needs to start at 4 in the morning and can take a beautiful sunrise. The place to catch the sea is not recommended in the blue sea and silver sand in Evergrande Venice. There are a lot of people here. The water smells and is limited. You can come out of the wild beach to catch the sea!

Basically, the products of Huajiantang must be boutique. The hotel is in a very good location. Behind it is Yumatou, the Grand Canal, and Hua Street. It is quiet in the bustling city. There are noisy gongs and drums outside, and the voices are bustling, but it is very quiet in the hotel, which is very suitable for vacation. The facilities are very new, it is very comfortable to live in, the room is large enough, and the scenery is very good, not to mention the service, which can be ranked among the top domestic hotels. Basically, the front desk is responsive. I originally wanted to stay for one day, and then I extended it for another day because of the service. The young lady is very enthusiastic and actively recommends delicious and fun things around, and pays great attention to various service details. For example, when my wife had a birthday, the young lady took photos for her, printed the photos and put them in a wooden frame to give to my wife. I give full marks for this wave of service. The mineral water used is of the same grade as that of Qingdao St. Regis (Qingdao St. Regis is a top luxury hotel in our Shandong), and the various drinks in the small bar are the same as those used by Beijing Bulgari, and there are also various snacks, all free. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit far away. It is said to be 150 meters away, but it is conservatively estimated to be 300 to 400 meters. The breakfast is good, but the dinner ordered in the restaurant is indeed average. This is basically the best (most expensive) hotel in Huai'an, so whether you are on a business trip or a vacation, you can't go wrong here.

The room layout is very user-friendly, with sockets readily available, which is very convenient for people who need to charge various electronic devices when traveling~ The restaurant on the first floor tastes very good, and you can enjoy delicious food without leaving the hotel~ I would like to especially praise Mr. Xia Jiayu, who was proactive and enthusiastic throughout the whole process and made our family feel at homešŸ‘ The only shortcoming is that the water pressure for the shower is not very strong, I hope it can be improved!

Above average in all areas. Only 2 small things, but difficult to complain at all. Amazing service, above average for China. Food was not just above average - top level and not too expensive. All facilities were excellent, though the kyaking in the photos do not exist anymore. A small, but still a reason I booked was it showed kyacking for kids, which my son loves, therefore one (but not the only reason) for booking. Trip.com should update this image. I would suggest also redoing the lobby area, its way too small. Its one of the smallest lobby's in any 5 star hotel, and when its on the weekend and everyone booking in at the same time, its very noisy and crowded. The lobby and reception area should be 2-3 times the size. But these two negatives do not distract from the many positives which were above 5-stars. If these other two could be fixed it would be one of the top hotel stays in China.

MM425341****We booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

HHuahuaxiaojiejiePerhaps due to the room type, both rooms were far from the elevator. Around 8 a.m., there was a thumping noise from upstairs. The room was spacious, but the downside was that there was no TV or refrigerator. If you wanted to cool something, you had to go up to the second floor, which was quite inconvenient. If you were picking up a tour driver, you had to have him go into the lobby and scan a QR code before you could leave. The breakfast here was very poor. There was no basic milk, juice, or sauces. The outside bar only had two kinds of pickled cucumber and plain porridge. I got a bowl of bland noodles, so I skipped it the next day! It was simply not good. It's a shame that the hotel rooms are basic, but the food wasn't well-received.

MMusaOur stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

HhavearestI chose to stay at the Radisson specifically for the Shisanyuan night tour, and it's conveniently located very close to the park's main entrance. The hotel facilities are excellent. The lobby has a great design aesthetic, and while the pool isn't large, it's absolutely beautiful and my child loved it. Our room was spacious and very clean, with excellent amenities. Perhaps because it wasn't a weekend, there weren't many guests, and the air conditioning in the hallway wasn't really on, making it a bit warm. However, the AC in the room worked perfectly, and it was a pleasant surprise that even the standard room type comes with a balcony. The only minor downside was that the restaurant's food quality could be improved. I also want to commend Shisanyuan (Thirteen Gardens) itself. The night tour was truly stunning, with dazzling, magical lights and immersive performances by the actors. Even though there weren't many visitors, the actors, dressed in Hanfu on such a hot day, were incredibly professional and dedicated. Their interactions were also very engaging. I hope to come back and experience it again when the weather cools down in autumn.

MM303936****Let's get straight to the pros and cons. Pros: The hotel is nestled at the foot of Lion Mountain, offering a tranquil environment. Although it's not huge, each courtyard has a very private hot spring, the rooms are spacious enough, and the smart home features are comprehensive, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast mainly features Chinese Cantonese dim sum, with Western options as a supplement. The hot dishes are all freshly made to order, and the taste is excellent; I highly recommend the xiaolongbao and vegetarian pan-fried dumplings. The service across all areas is fantastic; both the front desk and other staff members are very warm and professional. Cons: I saw several reviews from guests who reported that despite giving their license plate numbers to their butler or the front desk, it wasn't entered into the system when they checked out, and they were charged for parking. Because of this, I specifically emphasized it repeatedly to both the butler and the front desk. When checking out, I mentioned it again, and they all confirmed it was entered. Yet, it still wasn't, and I was going to be charged over 300 for parking. Luckily, a staff member happened to pass by and, after some communication, I was able to leave for free. This is really unacceptable, and it's not an isolated incident. With so much feedback, it seems no attention has been paid to it! In summary, for a holiday relaxing in hot springs, it's an excellent choice. I suggest bringing pool disinfectant tablets (I calculated and used 17, for reference only). The Rong Zhuang Chinese restaurant next door is superb, and the nearby (just a few steps away) Michelin-listed intangible cultural heritage Suzhou-style noodles at Gusuqiao are also great. I recommend the intangible cultural heritage pork liver noodles – they are the best! You can also order takeout, and the front desk will deliver it to your room, which is excellent service.

CChengziyouzi1We came here with my parents and child for the National Day holiday to escape the crowds, and for someone like me who travels with family and prefers a leisurely pace, it was quite suitable. The hotel gave us a lot of activity schedules when we checked in, but after experiencing them, not many were truly engaging. First, the good points: The hotel rooms are located in a villa area, and the ground floor rooms even have a courtyard. The greenery is lush, the environment is beautiful, and the rooms have a dressing room and a decent amount of space. The hotel breakfast had a rich variety of options, and if you avoided peak hours, the experience was quite good. The red soup noodles were a specialty and tasted delicious. The hotel service was quite attentive. Upon check-in, they added a butler to WeChat, and any questions asked to the butler were answered promptly. I initially thought the hotel was very large, but it wasn't, many places were within walking distance. However, the hotel shuttle bus was still very timely in picking up and dropping off guests, which, during a still-hot National Day, saved my parents from walking in the scorching sun. This is a big plus. The hotel's pool and hot springs were enjoyed by the whole family. The only thing was that there were quite a few mosquitoes at the hot springs at night, so it's probably better to go during the day. The hotel's coastal sunset afternoon tea and cycling are highly recommended. The scenery around the hotel is quite beautiful, and there aren't many people. Sitting there, drinking tea, playing cards, and just relaxing are all perfect activities. The main downside is that while the hotel activity list has many items, not many are actually engaging. The hotel's children's play area is small with limited facilities, geared more towards toddlers. The variety of animals for feeding was also limited. We spent over an hour fishing in the scorching sun and didn't catch anything. The musical fountain at East Taihu was okay, but I've seen many much more impressive fountain shows, so it wasn't particularly stunning. Overall, the accommodation was satisfactory, and it would be even better if they could add more engaging activities.
