Food and drinks are available at the hotel, the food was freshly cooked, ordered from a menu and was delicious. There is a fridge full of beer, soda, and water - tea is grown on site and coffee is also available. The owner is very friendly - she speaks some English and went above and beyond to help us with any requests, even warming up the hot spring for us despite us being the only visitors in the hotel. She typed out the names of the Chinese dishes as our translator didn’t work as well when translating handwriting. We loved sitting by the log fire with a coffee in the morning. The hotel offers a pick-up and drop-off service, I recommend doing this as the hotel is at the foot of the scenic area and it takes around 1.5 hours to drive from the train station to the hotel/scenic area. Overall, we can’t wait to be back! The fog was thick and the air was cold, but that didn’t mean we didn’t have a wonderful, restful stay.
