Facilities: This is an older 5-star hotel, and I was a bit worried it might be dated before I arrived. However, it completely exceeded my expectations! You can tell they put a lot of effort into managing and maintaining it, so it doesn't feel old at all. It's very clean, which gave me great peace of mind traveling with a child.
Cleanliness: Everything was meticulously clean. I was traveling with a baby, so my standards for cleanliness were very high, and they did a fantastic job.
Environment: The hotel's location is excellent. After breakfast, my child spent a long time playing with the sika deer. There's also a carousel in the lobby, which my little one absolutely loved.
Service: The most important thing to praise is the service! From the smiling staff who greeted us at the entrance, to them helping us bypass the queue at mealtime because we had a baby, to their patient supervision each time my child rode the carousel, and even the complimentary drinks and ice cream in the lobby – every single detail was handled perfectly. Throughout our entire trip to Hebei, I kept raving about how great this hotel was.
Why am I writing this review late at night? Because I just arrived in Qinhuangdao and also chose an older 5-star hotel there, but it was incredibly disappointing. Comparing it to the Tangshan Metropark Hotel, I just have to commend the hotel's service and Tangshan's dedication to tourism. There's no appreciation without comparison! Tangshan left me with such a wonderful impression.
Nice Hot Spring Hotel is a really great place located in Huailai. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was attracted by its luxury and comfort. The lobby is very beautifully decorated and full of artistic flavor. The hotel's hot springs are both indoors and outdoors, and there are many different pools to choose from, with different temperatures. The main reason is that there are few people and it basically feels like a private bath.
The service at the hotel is also great. The staff are very friendly and professional and always catered to my needs.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Nice Hotel & Spa. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants luxury and comfort.

An excellent experience! I booked through Trip.com a week in advance, and later noticed the price dropped on the app. I called customer service, and they helped me cancel and rebook at the lower price. Upon arrival, the front desk manager upgraded my room, and the view was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The indoor and outdoor hot springs truly added a lot of enjoyment to the trip. The room was equipped with a washing machine, dryer, a large refrigerator, and an induction cooker, so I could easily make instant noodles or even a hot pot. This provided great convenience and made me feel right at home. A truly delightful stay!

Great hotel to stay at for a ski getaway, location is perfect as the ski slopes are right behind it. Depending on your booking they offer a 20% discount with Thaiwoo Ski Resort where you’ll go to get all the ski equipments if you don’t have your own including ski suit. I bought a 3 day ski pass which costs 1173 RMB plus a deposit of 2200 RMB (immediately returned on the last day of skiing). The room is like an apartment, kitchen area with all the necessary amenities to cook except pots and utensils (bring your own if you plan to do that), living room, bathroom and bedroom plus a small balcony. Plus also a washing machine. Btw, to get to the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus from Taizicheng train station, just follow the signs for the bus and which one stops at A&B Hotel. Check the schedule for departure times as the go according to train arrival and departure times. The Taiwu town area has plenty of restaurants and shops and the ski slopes closes at 4:30 pm.

Located near Shijiazhuang Railway Station, it is very convenient to catch the high-speed rail. The hotel is old at first glance, the environment and sanitation are in good condition, the front desk service is very good, and they took the initiative to upgrade the room type. The room is larger, and the sleep is quiet without being disturbed. The overall experience is good.

This was hands down the best homestay experience I've ever had. The room was spotlessly clean and free of any strange odors. It felt incredibly cozy and welcoming, truly a home away from home. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were from reputable brands, and the all-in-one washer-dryer was a fantastic amenity, ensuring we never had to worry about wet clothes when heading out. The host truly puts a lot of thought and effort into running this place, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. We had an evening high-speed train and it was pouring rain, so we contacted the host to request a late check-out until 3 PM. They graciously accommodated us, and by then, the rain had stopped. It made for a perfect end to our trip, leaving us feeling truly cared for. A huge thank you to the host for their immense thoughtfulness!
The hotel is very conveniently located, and it only takes a few minutes to get there after getting off the highway. The housekeeper Xiaowei provided very thoughtful service, and helped us upgrade the room to the small column suite, which the children were very surprised and liked. The private hot spring in the room was clean and hygienic, the buffet breakfast was rich in variety, the hotel had a naughty castle, and there was also a Qingqing ranch where you could walk your kids around, and the beautiful Baishishan Mountain. It was simply a treasure hotel, and I have recommended it to my friends.
I would like to thank the beautiful housekeeper Xiaowei. We left our things in the room when we checked out. Xiaowei contacted us in time and helped us contact the courier to return the items. Thank you 😊
A very satisfying hotel trip~
The suite is very large, the top floor is very high, and the children are very convenient to run. The balcony is transparent and you can make tea around the stove to see the scenery. There is a garden behind the hotel, the scenery is very good, the wall is recommended, and the photo is very good! The downside is that the carpet is dirty, the curtains are not tight, the house is bright early in the morning, and I sleep very uncomfortable. The bathtub is super slow, and the water in the basin is cold, and it has not been filled with half of the water in the bathtub. In particular, the breakfast at this hotel may be because of the May Day holiday. The underground is full of water and oil. The plate is full of water. The coffee cup and bowl are only given to one. It is also brushed by the back kitchen. The guests are everywhere, and there is no service staff to maintain order. The service staff of the omelette are working while answering the phone... chaos everywhere! Don’t eat dinner at this hotel. We ordered a hairy blood. The waiter went to the wrong table. The guest at this table made the wrong meal. I saw it in my eyes. The waiter checked the order and found that it was wrong. I brought this dish to an empty table. I put it for two minutes and gave it to me directly. I really don't know how to evaluate this hotel! In short, you can stay in the store, don't choose here for dinner.

A mixed bag, here's an objective review.
First, the disappointments: I checked in on October 5th, during a busy holiday period. The five front desk staff members in Building D were completely overwhelmed. I've stayed in countless hotels, big and small, good and bad, but I've never seen check-ins take 5 to 10 minutes per person. That's not even counting the half-hour wait in line, with people arguing and unruly kids kicking things and causing damage – it was pure chaos. All I wanted was to get it over with and get to my room. When it was my turn, I observed the staff furiously typing on the computer, and it still took at least 5 minutes. This clearly indicates a cumbersome and complex internal system. After all that, they still made me scan a QR code and fill out a ton of information to get the afternoon tea included in my package, which suggests they're collaborating with some business to collect customer data. I gritted my teeth and endured it, just wanting to get upstairs and relax. The elevators were insufficient, so I waited ages again. When I finally reached my room, I exploded. *This* is a **luxury scenic view**? Scenic my ass! Facing northeast, about fifteen meters away, was a bare retaining wall with a railing? What kind of view is that? There was nothing there!
So, I went back downstairs to argue for a room change. By this point, I was about to lose it. And, of course, I had to queue again. When it was my turn, I only said two sentences, not harsh words, but the front desk staff must have sensed my fury. They meekly processed the room change, only to have someone checking out cut in front of me. I waited another seven or eight minutes. Finally, I pressed her about what kind of room they had originally given me, and she apologized, saying the system indeed showed it as a 'luxury scenic room.' Hmm... the system made her look bad, but she didn't dare say it. The new room was just okay, but at least the balcony had a mountain view (as pictured). After closer inspection, I realized that only about 1/6 of the rooms in Building D actually have a genuine view of the western mountain face. This is another example of the hotel's unsightly practices; they seem to classify any room in Building D that's remotely close as a 'luxury scenic view.' It's truly disgusting.
On the good side: All the service staff I encountered, including the front desk person I vented to earlier, were great. She even gave me hot spring vouchers, though I didn't use them. I also didn't go for the afternoon tea (which was in Building C). All I really wanted was a room I paid for that matched their advertising, but I still appreciate her kindness. The cleaning aunties, who were incredibly busy, the shuttle bus drivers, and the owner and service lady at the second-floor BBQ restaurant were all fantastic. Their service was impeccable; I won't go into details, but they made you feel like they genuinely didn't want you to be shortchanged, treating you well without being overly effusive, and speaking from the heart. This largely alleviated the dissatisfaction caused earlier.
In summary, management needs to reflect. Stop sitting in the office conjuring up arbitrary, convoluted procedures that waste customer time and staff resources with useless formalism. Are you trying to pass a grad school exam?
Above for your reference.

YYunqianma-yanI go to Thaiwoo Town every summer. Since my second visit, I've always chosen to stay at Xueluju, and this was my third consecutive stay. Both the service and the hotel's environment are consistently excellent. This year, I was in such a rush checking out that I accidentally left my trunk's cargo cover in the underground parking lot. To my utter surprise, with just one phone call, a front desk attendant went all the way to our parking spot, located it, and even arranged to have it mailed back to us. I was incredibly touched by this gesture! This level of dedication to service truly deserves a big thumbs-up!

GG. Solo TravelerJ had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites.
The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort.
The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker.
One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there.
In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good!
Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

GGuest UserThe experience is very good. There are not only beaches but also hot springs. It is very suitable for the elderly and children to travel. The service is also super good, especially Feng Ting at the front desk, who is very enthusiastic. She also took the initiative to inform the activity time. If there is a problem, it will be solved immediately. The service is superb. I will go again next time.
QQueenNatWooWe had a great time at the Holiday Inn Baoding. We arrived late in the evening. You know it’s a great trip when you have so much fun you forget to take photos. Checkin was a smooth process, there was a market store were you can get gifts, Lana is, drinks. Toiletries and etc. We received a free car wash that we used when we checked-out. It’s located on the property. The hot springs is located in another building that was a quick walk. This place is adult and kid friendly. Although you are in the middle of nowhere the city is just a quick drive. We did a little shopping at the shoe store. The room was comfortable and spacious. It’s great for families, our 13yr old son loved it.
GGuest User**Facilities:** During our summer escape trip, from Bashang to Chongli, all hotels we stayed at featured wet/dry separation in the bathrooms, which was very convenient. Towels, bath towels, and bath mats were all provided. What was most commendable was the presence of disinfected bathrobes, which we could use with peace of mind.
Children's toiletries were provided and proved to be quite good. They also offered adorable children's slippers.
The front desk provided a luggage cart, and a staff member proactively offered to help us with our bags. Although we didn't need the assistance, we were very grateful for their thoughtfulness.
The location was excellent, within walking distance of Fulong Town. There were plenty of dining options nearby, and we even bought some local strawberry tomatoes and grapes, all of which were exceptionally delicious.
The mini-fridge might not have been cooling properly, but we didn't need it, so we didn't bother to inform the front desk.
The breakfast was undoubtedly the highlight. It offered a wide variety of dishes, and the flavors were outstanding. The wontons were especially delicious, and the coffee tasted authentic. The service staff were very observant and proactive.

CCharlieLwuIt’s the first time I came to Zhuozheng International Hotel. The hotel called in the morning and confirmed the pick-up time with the hotel. This is really convenient. Normally, if you take a taxi by yourself, you can’t find the driver and get lost easily, but the hotel driver Wang The master is waiting from the exit, which is really convenient and skilled in driving. Other service staff in the hotel are also very professional, it is a very good five-star hotel
