Hot Springs Hotels in Guangxi, China

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The customer service is amazing, almost all staff we have encountered with are friendly and helpful, especially the young lady who checked us in and also helped us with our luggage. The hotel is tastefully decorated with quality materials. The breakfast was very delicious with many selections. Areas needed to improve are 1)The hot water pressure is very weak for the bathtub in our room. 2) The plastic cover for the bathtub was nice thought but not practical.

Spacious, clean and excellent service by the staff. The room facilities were modern, comes with a bidet and a Baidu tech device to control room lighting and more by voice commands. Breakfast had a decent spread and an afternoon tea was also provided. It was a very comfortable stay. Location was optimal as it was near all the sights we wanted to go to. Highly recommended.

Before I came, I was afraid that it was a low container. After I arrived, I was not disappointed. There were many details to wash the room. The room was spacious, clean, and the whole house was smart. Just open your mouth and talk. The service details are better: the tea cups in the room, the toothbrushing cups, all disposable hard shell cups, absolutely clean and hygienic, understand the concerns of most customers. Towels + bath towels are packaged in disinfection packaging. Besides, it is fun. There are oven racks in the villa yard, hot spring pools, our family, adults barbecue parties, and children soak in hot springs. On the lawn in the public area, pets are happy, play at will, and the owner is not afraid to lose it if he doesn't look at it. There are few people here, the mountains are clean, and the service of the comfortable service butler is also in place. On call, we take the initiative to help us make charcoal fire, move the camping table, send coffee, and send tea. The latest homestays in Gupo Mountain are very distinctive and cost-effective.

Beautiful and spacious new rooms. Hotel was also centrally located and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was sumptious and of a wide variety, and was served on top floor with a wonderful view of lake! On top of that, service was great and they offered hot desserts in our room due to the cold weather. Cannot ask for a better hotel to stay in.

Amazing accommodation and staff! I took my friend for a birthday trip and they decorated the room fully with balloons, roses and wrote happy birthday in Chinese. They are so sweet and friendly but honest! They advised me and managed my expectations on what to do and what not to do. One of my best experience in China. Thanks a lot and will definitely come back!

I had a super experience at Lu Yi and can really recommend it. For a reasonable price you get a big room, big and comfy bed, a very nice shower and a lot of amenities. It’s also in a nice location without too much noise. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and helpful. I can really recommend renting a e-scooter from them for 30 Yuan a day.

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

The staffs there were so friendly, and the hotel breakfast was nice. Will definitely book this hotel if i ever come to guilin again. Love the hotel’s room too, especially the toilet and they even gave us bath bomb and bath salt after requesting.

It feels pretty good. The afternoon tea, freshly baked toast cheese bread and freshly fried French fries are delicious. The tea is average, the hotel's milk quality is good, the fruit is not so good, and the breakfast is also delicious. The hygiene is fine, the basic room type has a bathtub, the bad thing is that the window of my room faces the street and there is no view. The Cantonese restaurant on the fourth floor did not serve a dish for 25 minutes after ordering, so I directly refunded the order without eating. Because the weather was bad and there was an orange gale and hail warning, I stayed in the hotel for a day and did not go anywhere. The housekeeper Abao is very good and can provide emotional value and some help

Overall, I would recommend. The staff is super friendly and helped to pick us up from the local pier after our cruise and provided rides to and from West Street and helped to set up us up with a driver to take us to the train station. They provided daily breakfast (decent), afternoon tea (coffee, a cake, fruits) and daily fruit. They also connected us to local tour guide. The room overall was very nice. The only thing is that part of the view faced the back of the hotel which most of the time had people there and that’s where the bathtub was situated so I couldn’t really enjoy the view. Part of the center of the room was also obstructed by hotel beside it. The front of the room faced the front swimming pool and parking lot. So there wasn’t much privacy if the curtains were opened which kind of defeated the purpose of having a panoramic view. The view that we did have of the mountains was nice though. And on the last night the hot water wasn’t working for some reason… it was only warm, since it was our last night we did not mention anything.
