"Special features: We got free admission to the Erlangjian Scenic Area at Qinghai Lake (all four of us in our group received free tickets). The park was clean and spacious. When we called the front desk about a problem with the lights in the lounge, they quickly sent someone to fix it. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunset inside the scenic area – definitely worth it! Finally, thank you to Ms. Huang for her warm hospitality."

GGuest UserThe hotel is very conveniently located, within a few minutes’ walking distance from the monastery and also accessible on foot from the bus station. We got a room in a side alley off the main building. The room was clean, very spacious and light thanks to large roof windows. The furnishing was modern and cozy at the same time, with large comfortable beds, a small table, armchair and shelf. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, with fresh towels and hot water coming out of the shower instantly. The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating, letting us extend our stay for an hour beyond the regular check-out time so we could pack up and use the bathroom again before our bus departed in the early afternoon. We can fully recommend this hotel for a stay in Rebkong/Tongren!

GGuest UserI only stayed one night but it was honestly one of my best hostel experiences! Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming — I felt at home right away. In the evening, we all shared a barbecue together which made it so easy to connect with people. And bonus: there are the cutest cats ever 🐱❤️ Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good vibes and lovely people!

DDacongyahuoI stumbled upon this hotel on Ctrip and was captivated by its setting from the first sight. Upon arrival, the experience far exceeded my expectations! The hotel is nestled in the mountains surrounding Jianzha County. The view from your room feels like you're stepping into a Windows background. Opening the door, you'll be greeted by vast, rolling grasslands, dotted with herders' homes. Every morning, a herd of yaks leisurely ”visits” the hotel, foraging on the grass. Besides the yaks, you can also spot eagles soaring through the windows. While enjoying breakfast, I was even lucky enough to witness this nationally protected species strolling through the hotel grounds. At night, ascending to the rooftop, the starry sky feels almost within reach; it's said that on new moon nights, the Milky Way can be clearly seen stretching across the sky with the naked eye. The nearby Kanbula Forest Park is a treasure trove of wonders. The awe-inspiring experience is beyond words, like stepping into Middle-earth from ”The Lord of the Rings.” The hotel's service is equally astonishing. Aside from the owner, the staff are mostly friendly ******* men and women. From the moment we arrived, they enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants and attractions. During our stay, they were incredibly responsive, going above and beyond to meet our every need, sharing any special sights they discovered. The entire hotel exudes a customer-centric, attentive atmosphere and a warm, personal touch. A special mention must go to the front desk attendant, Leng Ben, who was not only welcoming and attentive, but also meticulously prepared drinks for us when we requested to use the bar, chatted with us about local culture and interesting stories, and even worked late into the morning without complaint. The only caveat is that the mountain road can be quite bumpy, so novice drivers should exercise caution. In short, for anyone with a confident driving aptitude, this hotel is highly recommended! If your travel route takes you nearby, it's a no-brainer! The hotel itself and the stunning surrounding scenery are worth a dedicated trip.

AAnonymous UserHygiene: When the room is vacant, the window is open, so there will be dust in the room. There were dead mosquitoes on my bed sheet (I cleaned it myself). People with strong cleanliness obsession should consider it carefully; Environment: The view is pretty good. The grassland room type is in the first row, with no obstruction in front, and you can directly see the grassland and salt lake (but it is still a certain distance from the lake, not directly by the lake), but people who like the view can still consider it; Starry sky at night: It depends entirely on the weather. I couldn't see a single star that night, only clouds and the moon. Facilities: There is a projector (but you have to adjust the focus yourself and log in with a platform membership account, otherwise you can't see anything); the toilet is relatively small (no door, only a cloth), and the shower room is a separate wet area, which is okay, with stable water flow and temperature. Parking: You can park directly in front of the hotel; Others: The front desk is a bar, the atmosphere is good at night, but there is no experience. Nearby: Some restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient.

Very friendly service, delicious (vegetarian only ) food, and pristine quiet location, comfortable and recently decorated with new furnishings. Within walking distance of a many interesting sights and located not too far from other temples, mountains and scenery. 10/10 will stay again!

GGuest UserVery nice hostel/homestay - you won’t find a quality private room for cheaper in Xining and accepts foreigners without difficulty. Facilities are clean and functional and is well located near to the train station with many restaurants around. I can definitely recommend 🙂.

GGuest UserA very wonderful place! They are very welcoming to foreigners so please give them respect in return. I arrived with Chinese friends and I could not speak much, but I very much enjoyed spending time with the monks and their helpers, who were as curious about me as I was about them. And of course, the location is unparalleled in beauty. I come from the US, where I love the Rocky Mountains, but the landscape of Tibet has a magic you cannot find anywhere else.

The owners were very welcoming; we chose a room with breakfast included, and the owner provided us with a local specialty breakfast in the morning. There's also a camping and barbecue area on site. Qinghai Lake scenic area is not far away.

GGuest UserFriends who come to Chaka Salt Lake can come to this homestay at night. It feels very good to stay for one night. They have a pick-up service (the boss will also pick up the scenic spot). The scenic spot is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. It is relatively close. The next day I will go to Qinghai Lake. The boss helped recommend the bus driver's contact. Way, the homestay walks to the bus station for about a few minutes. In the evening, the boss will organize everyone to see the stars ✨, and be sure to wear more nights that are super cold. The boss is super good. The equipment for free oxygen inhalation is provided for breathing difficulties at night. The best night to sleep in the northwest is the best. I wish you a pleasant trip and wish the boss a prosperous business. 🧨
